< Hebrews 13 >
1 Let brotherly love continue.
Ikaragai mwendaine ta ariũ na aarĩ a Ithe witũ.
2 Do not forget hospitality for strangers. For through this, some have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
Mũtikanariganĩrwo nĩgũtuga ageni, nĩ ũndũ andũ amwe tondũ wa gwĩka ũguo maananyiita araika ũgeni matekũmenya.
3 Remember prisoners, as if you were bound with them. Remember those who are mistreated, as if you also were them in the body.
Ririkanagai andũ arĩa mohetwo o ta muohetwo hamwe nao, o na mũririkanage arĩa marathĩĩnio taarĩ inyuĩ ene mũranyamario.
4 Let marriage be respected by everyone. Let the marriage bed be pure, for God will judge the sexually immoral people and adulterers.
Ũhoro wa kũhikania nĩwagĩrĩirwo nĩgũtĩĩo nĩ andũ othe, naguo ũrĩrĩ wa arĩa mahikanĩtie ndũgathaahio; nĩgũkorwo Ngai nĩagaciirithia arĩa othe matharagia, na ahũũri-maraya othe.
5 Let your conduct be free from the love of money. Be content with the things you have, for God himself has said, “I will never leave you, nor will I forsake you.”
Ikaragai mũtegũkorokera mbeeca, na mũiganagwo nĩ kĩrĩa mũrĩ nakĩo, tondũ Ngai oigĩte atĩrĩ, “Ndirĩ hĩndĩ ngaagũtiganĩria; na ndigagũtirika o narĩ.”
6 Let us be content so that we may have courage to say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can a man do to me?”
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio no tuuge tũũmĩrĩirie atĩrĩ, “Mwathani nĩwe mũndeithia; ndingĩĩtigĩra. Mũndũ-rĩ, nĩ atĩa angĩhota kũnjĩka?”
7 Consider your leaders, those who spoke God's word to you, and consider the result of their conduct. Imitate their faith.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (aiōn )
Jesũ Kristũ atũũraga atekũgarũrũka, ira, na ũmũthĩ, o na nginya tene. (aiōn )
9 Do not be carried away by various strange teachings. For it is good that the heart should be strengthened by grace, not by foods that do not help those who walk by them.
10 We have an altar from which those who serve in the tabernacle have no right to eat.
Ithuĩ nĩ tũrĩ na kĩgongona kĩrĩa andũ arĩa matungataga kũu hema-inĩ ĩyo matarĩ na rũtha rwa kũrĩĩaga magongona marĩa marutagĩrwo ho.
11 For the blood of the animals killed for sins is brought by the high priest into the holy place, while their bodies are burned outside the camp.
Mũthĩnjĩri-Ngai ũrĩa mũnene akuuaga thakame ya nyamũ akamĩtwara Handũ-harĩa-Hatheru-Mũno ĩtuĩke ya kũhoroheria mehia, no mĩĩrĩ ya nyamũ icio ĩcinagĩrwo nja ya itũũra.
12 So Jesus also suffered outside the city gate, in order to sanctify the people through his own blood.
Ũguo no taguo Jesũ aanyariirĩirwo nja ya kĩhingo gĩa itũũra inene, nĩgeetha andũ matheragio nĩ thakame yake.
13 Let us therefore go to him outside the camp, bearing his shame.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio-rĩ, nĩtumagarei tũthiĩ kũrĩ we kũu nja ya itũũra, tũkuuanĩire nake gĩconoko kĩrĩa we aakuuire.
14 For we do not have any permanent city here. Instead, we are looking for one that is to come.
Nĩgũkorwo gũkũ tũtirĩ na itũũra inene rĩtagaathira, no tũcaragia itũũra inene rĩrĩa rĩgooka thuutha-inĩ.
15 Through him, then, let us always offer up sacrifices of praise to God, praise that is the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio-rĩ, nĩtũthiĩ na mbere kũrutĩra Ngai igongona rĩa kũmũgooca nĩ ũndũ wa Jesũ tũtegũtigithĩria, na nĩrĩo itunda rĩa tũnua tũrĩa tuumbũraga rĩĩtwa rĩake.
16 Let us not forget doing good and helping one another, for it is with such sacrifices that God is very pleased.
Na mũtikanariganĩrwo nĩ gwĩkaga wega, o na kũgayanaga kĩrĩa mũndũ arĩ nakĩo na andũ arĩa angĩ, nĩgũkorwo magongona ta macio nĩmo makenagia Ngai.
17 Obey and submit to your leaders, for they keep watch over your souls, as those who will give account. Obey so that your leaders will do this with joy, and not with groaning, which would be useless to you.
Athĩkagĩrai atongoria anyu, na mwĩnyiihagĩrie wathani wao. Maikaraga meiguĩte nĩ ũndũ wa mĩoyo yanyu taarĩ o makoorio ũhoro wanyu. Maathĩkagĩrei nĩgeetha wĩra wao ũgatuĩka gĩkeno, no ti mũrigo, nĩgũkorwo ũndũ ũcio ndũngĩtuĩka wa kũmũguna.
18 Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a clean conscience and that we desire to live rightly in all things.
Tũhooyagĩrei. Tũrĩ na ma atĩ thamiri ciitũ itirĩ na ũcuuke, na nĩtũkwenda gũtũũra na mĩikarĩre mĩega maũndũ-inĩ mothe.
19 I encourage you even more to do this, so that I will be returned to you sooner.
Nĩngũmũthaitha mũno mũhooyage nĩgeetha hotithio gũcooka kũrĩ inyuĩ o narua.
20 Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, by the blood of the eternal covenant, (aiōnios )
21 equip you with everything good to do his will, working in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever. Amen. (aiōn )

22 Now I encourage you, brothers, to bear with the word of encouragement that I have briefly written to you.

24 Greet all your leaders and all the believers. Those from Italy greet you.
