< Hebrews 10 >

1 For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the real forms of those things themselves. Those who approach God can never be made perfect by the same sacrifices that the priests continually bring year after year.
PWE kapun o iei motan dipijou en mur, a kaidin pein mom en dipijou, a jota kak kaunjok kilar mairon ota irail, me kin wia ir ada ni par karoj.
2 Otherwise, would the sacrifices not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed one time and would no longer have any consciousness of sin.
A ma iei, arail mairon pan dukedi, pwe jolar kataman pan dip en irail, me apwali mairon;
3 But with those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year.
Pwe mepukat kin wiaui, pwen katamanda dip ni par karoj.
4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Pwe ntan kau ol o kut jota kak wa jan dip akan.
5 When Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me;
Ari, ni a kotin pwara don jappa, majani: Mairon o kijakij komui jota kotin mauki, a komui kotiki on ia er pali war ai.
6 with burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not take pleasure.
Kom jota peren kida mairon ijij o mairon men tom.
7 Then I said, 'See, here I am— as it is written about me in the scroll— to do your will.'”
I ap inda: Kilan, I kokodo, nan puk o me intinidier duen nai, pwen kapwaiada kupur omui, Main Kot.
8 First he said, “It was neither sacrifices, nor offerings, nor whole burnt offerings, nor sacrifices for sin that you desired. Nor did you take pleasure in them.” These are sacrifices that are offered according to the law.
Maj a majanier: Mairon, o kijakij, o mairon ijij, o mairon men tom, kom jota kotin mauki, o kom jota kupur peren ki mepukat, me wiauier duen kapun o.
9 Then he said, “See, here I am to do your will.” He takes away the first practice in order to establish the second practice.
Ap pil majanier: Kilan, I pwara don kapwaiada kupur omui. A kotiki jan men maj, pwen kapwaiada men mur.
10 By that will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Ni kupur wet kitail kajarauilar ki mairon en war en Iejuj Krijtuj pan me pak.
11 Day after day every priest stands and performs his service to God. He offers the same sacrifices again and again—sacrifices that can never take away sins.
Jamero karoj me kajapwiladar, pwen apwali dodok ni ran karoj o purepure mairon ota, me jo kak lapwada dip akan.
12 But when Christ offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God.
A men et, me kotin maironki pan mepak dip akan, ap kaipokedi ni pali maun en Kot kokolata.
13 He is waiting until his enemies are made a stool for his feet.
O a kotin auiaui, lao a imwintiti pan wiala utipan aluwilu a kan.
14 For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Pwe a kotin kaunjokila tom ta ieu karoj, me pan kajarauila.
15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us. First he said,
Nen jaraui pil kotin kadede on kitail duen mepukat, pwe murin a kotin majanier:
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.
let inau, me I pan wiai on irail murin ran pukat, me Kaun o kotin majanier: I pan ki on monion arail ai kapun, o I pan intiniedi on nan nen arail.
17 Their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no longer.”
Dip arail, o arail japun kan I jolar pan tamanda.
18 Now where there is forgiveness for these, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.
A ma re lapwadar, ap jolar mairon en dip pan wiaui.
19 Therefore, brothers, we have confidence to enter into the most holy place by the blood of Jesus.
Ari ri ai kan, ma a muei on kitail er, en pedelon on nan pera jaraui ki ntan Iejuj,
20 That is the new and living way that he has opened for us through the curtain, that is, by means of his flesh.
Pwe a kotin wiai on kitail er al en maur kap pot et lel pali lan likau ki uduk a.
21 Because we have a great priest over the house of God,
A ma atail jamero kajampwal en tanpaj en Kot mia.
22 let us approach with true hearts in the full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Kitail ap pan pwaralan i ni melel en monion atail, o pojon melel, o ujupeki monion atail, o maio jan injen jued, o widenki pil makelekel war atail,
23 Let us also hold tightly to the confession of our hope without wavering, because God, who has promised, is faithful.
O kitail en tenedi on atail kadede en kaporopor o kder wukiwuk jili, pwe i me melel, me kotikida inau o.
24 Let us consider how to motivate one another to love and good deeds.
O kitail en apwali nan pun atail ni atail kainon ion limpok o wiawia mau kan.
25 Let us not stop meeting together, as some have done. Instead, encourage one another more and more, and all the more as you see the day coming closer.
O kitail ender dukedi jan atail mod on kandok pena, duen me kin wiaui ren akai. A kitail en nantion panau pena, pwe komail kilan, me ran o me korendor.
26 For if we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, a sacrifice for sins no longer exists.
Pwe ma kitail inon ion wia dip, murin atail marainiki melel, jolar mairon men tom ki dip atail,
27 Instead, there is only a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume God's enemies.
A kitail pan mimieta ni atail majak kadeik apwalia o onion en kijiniai, me pan karojela imwintiti kan.
28 Anyone who has rejected the law of Moses dies without mercy at the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Ma amen pan tiakedi kapun en Mojej, a jota pan diar mak, pwe a pan kamela, ma jaunkadede riamen de jilimen mia.
29 How much worse punishment do you think one deserves who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, who treated the blood of the covenant as unholy—the blood by which he was sanctified—and insulted the Spirit of grace?
Ari, da me komail lamelame, duen me pan tiakedi Japwilim en Kot, o kajaminela ntan inau kap, me a kajarauilar o lalaue Nen en mak, a jo pan kalokolok laud jan irail?
30 For we know the one who said, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will pay back.” And again, “The Lord will judge his people.”
Pwe kitail ajai, me majanier: Ikepa ai dok, I pan depuki on. O pil eu: Kaun o pan kotin kapun on japwilim a aramaj akan.
31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
Nan meid kalom, en lodi on ni lim en Kot ieiaj.
32 But remember the former days, after you were enlightened, how you endured a great struggle in suffering.
A komail tamanda ran en maj oko murin omail marainlar, ap dadaurata ni omail kalokolok laud.
33 You were exposed to public ridicule by insults and persecution, and you were sharing with those who went through such suffering.
Ni omail kenkaurur janjal o pan kidau o kamekam, o ni omail riane kin ir, me pil lel mojued.
34 For you had compassion on those who were prisoners, and you accepted with joy the seizure of your possessions. You knew that you yourselves had a better and everlasting possession.
Pwe komail ianaki me jalidi kan ni ar kalokolok, o komail pil pereperen ni omail kapwa kan kulia wei jan, pwe komail aja, me komail aja, me komail aneki dipijou en lan, me mau jan o me jota pan jorala.
35 So do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.
Komail ari der kajela omail liki, me pan kareda katinpa Iapalap.
36 For you need patience, so that you may receive what God has promised, after you have done his will.
Pwe kanonama me mau on komai, pwen kapwaiada kupur en Kot o konodi inau o.
37 “For in a very little while, the one who is coming will indeed come and not delay.
Anjau tar kij, me onoper pan pwarado, a jota pan pwand.
38 My righteous one will live by faith. If he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.”
A me pun o pan maureki pojon, a nen i jota pan peren kida, ma a pan pure wei jan.
39 But we are not any of those who turn back to destruction. Instead, we are some of those who have faith for keeping our soul.
A kitail jota kijan ir, me pure wei jan, ap lokidokila, a kijan irail, me kin pojon ap kamaurr nen arail.
