Hebrews 1
1 Long ago God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in many ways.
Nachdem vorzeiten Gott manchmal und mancherlei Weise geredet hat zu den Vätern durch die Propheten,
2 But in these last days, he has spoken to us through a Son, whom he appointed to be the heir of all things. It is through him that God also made the universe. (aiōn g165)
hat er am letzten in diesen Tagen zu uns geredet durch den Sohn, welchen er gesetzt hat zum Erben über alles, durch welchen er auch die Welt gemacht hat; (aiōn g165)
3 He is the brightness of God's glory, the exact representation of his being. He even holds everything together by the word of his power. After he had made cleansing for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
welcher, sintemal er ist der Glanz seiner HERRLIchkeit und das Ebenbild seines Wesens und trägt alle Dinge mit seinem kräftigen Wort und hat gemacht die Reinigung unserer Sünden durch sich selbst, hat er sich gesetzt zu der Rechten der Majestät in der Höhe,
4 He has become just as superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than their name.
so viel besser worden denn die Engel, so gar viel einen höhern Namen er vor ihnen ererbet hat.
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my son, today I have become your father”? Or to which of the angels did God ever say, “I will be a father to him, and he will be a son to me”?
Denn zu welchem Engel hat er jemals gesagt: Du bist mein Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeuget? Und abermal: Ich werde sein Vater sein, und er wird mein Sohn sein?
6 But again, when God brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “All God's angels must worship him.”
Und abermal, da er einführet den Erstgeborenen in die Welt, spricht er: Und es sollen ihn alle Gottesengel anbeten.
7 About the angels he says, “He is the one who makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”
Von den Engeln spricht er zwar: Er macht seine Engel Geister und seine Diener Feuerflammen;
8 But to the Son he says, “Your throne, God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is the scepter of justice. (aiōn g165)
aber von dem Sohn: Gott, dein Stuhl währet von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit; das Zepter deines Reichs ist ein richtiges Zepter. (aiōn g165)
9 You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joy more than your companions.”
Du hast geliebet die Gerechtigkeit und gehasset die Ungerechtigkeit; darum hat dich, o Gott, gesalbet dein Gott mit dem Öle der Freuden über deine Genossen;
10 “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the earth's foundation. The heavens are the work of your hands.
und: Du, HERR, hast von Anfang die Erde gegründet, und die Himmel sind deiner Hände Werk.
11 They will perish, but you will continue. They will all wear out like a piece of clothing.
Dieselbigen werden vergehen, du aber wirst bleiben; und sie werden alle veralten wie ein Kleid,
12 You will roll them up like a cloak, and they will be changed like a piece of clothing. But you are the same, and your years do not end.”
und wie ein Gewand wirst du sie wandeln, und sie werden sich verwandeln. Du aber bist derselbige, und deine Jahre werden nicht aufhören.
13 But to which of the angels has God said at any time, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a stool for your feet”?
Zu welchem Engel aber hat er jemals gesagt: Setze dich zu meiner Rechten, bis ich lege deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße?
14 Are not all angels spirits who serve, and who are sent to care for those who will inherit salvation?
Sind sie nicht allzumal dienstbare Geister, ausgesandt zum Dienst um derer willen, die ererben sollen die Seligkeit?
