Genesis 8
1 God considered Noah, all the wild animals, and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters started going down.
Աստուած յիշեց Նոյին, նրա հետ տապանում գտնուող բոլոր գազաններին, բոլոր անասուններին ու բոլոր թռչուններին: Աստուած հողմ բարձրացրեց երկրի վրայ, եւ անձրեւը դադարեց:
2 The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were closed, and it stopped raining.
Փակուեցին ստորգետնեայ աղբիւրներն ու երկնքի սահանքները, դադարեց նաեւ երկնքից թափուող անձրեւը:
3 The flood waters went down slowly from the earth, and after the end of a hundred and fifty days the waters had gone down.
Ջուրը գնալով իջնում, քաշւում էր երկրի վրայից, եւ հարիւր յիսուն օր անց այն նուազեց:
4 The ark came to rest in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
Եօթներորդ ամսի քսանեօթին տապանը նստեց Արարատ լերան վրայ:
5 The waters continued to go down until the tenth month. On the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared.
Ջուրը մինչեւ տասներորդ ամիսը քաշւում էր, նուազում: Տասնմէկերորդ ամսի առաջին օրը երեւացին լեռների գագաթները:
6 It came about after forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.
Քառասուն օր յետոյ Նոյը բացեց իր կառուցած տապանի պատուհանը:
7 He sent out a raven and it flew back and forth until the waters were dried up from the earth.
Նա արձակեց մի ագռաւ, որը գնաց, բայց չվերադարձաւ, մինչեւ որ ջուրը ցամաքէր երկրի վրայից:
8 Then he sent out a dove to see if the waters had gone down from the surface of the earth,
Յետոյ նա արձակեց մի աղաւնի՝ տեսնելու, թէ ջրերը քաշուե՞լ են երկրի երեսից:
9 but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him in the ark, for the waters were still covering the whole earth. He reached out with his hand, and took and brought her into the ark with him.
Աղաւնին իր ոտքը դնելու տեղ չգտնելով՝ վերադարձաւ նրա մօտ՝ տապան, որովհետեւ ջուրը դեռ ծածկել էր ողջ երկիրը: Նոյը երկարեց ձեռքը, բռնեց նրան եւ բերեց իր մօտ՝ տապան:
10 He waited another seven days and again he sent out the dove from the ark.
Նա սպասեց եւս եօթը օր ու տապանից դարձեալ արձակեց աղաւնուն:
11 The dove returned to him in the evening. Look! In her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had gone down from the earth.
Աղաւնին նրա մօտ վերադարձաւ երեկոյեան: Նրա կտուցին ձիթենու մի շիւղ կար: Նոյը դրանից հասկացաւ, որ ջրերը քաշուել են երկրի վրայից:
12 He waited another seven days, and sent out the dove again. She did not return again to him.
Նոյն սպասեց եւս եօթը օր ու նորից արձակեց աղաւնուն, որն այլեւս նրա մօտ չվերադարձաւ:
13 It came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, that the waters were dried up from off the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ark, looked out, and saw that, behold, the surface of the ground was dry.
Նոյի կեանքի վեցհարիւրմէկերորդ տարում, առաջին ամսի առաջին օրը ջրերը քաշուեցին երկրի վրայից: Նոյը բացեց իր կառուցած տապանի ծածկը եւ տեսաւ, որ ջուրը քաշուել է երկրի երեսից:
14 In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
Երկրորդ ամսի քսանեօթներորդ օրը երկիրը ցամաքեց:
15 God said to Noah,
Տէր Աստուած Նոյին ասաց.
16 “Go out of the ark, you, your wife, your sons, and your sons' wives with you.
«Դո՛ւրս եկէք այդ տապանից դու, քո կինը, քո որդիները եւ քո որդիների կանայք,
17 Take out with you every living creature of all flesh that is with you—the birds, the animals, and every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth—so that they may grow unto very large numbers of living creatures throughout the earth, be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.”
նաեւ քեզ հետ եղող բոլոր գազանները, բոլոր էակները՝ թռչուններից մինչեւ անասունները: Դո՛ւրս հանիր քեզ հետ նաեւ երկրի վրայ սողացող բոլոր սողուններին, նրանք թող սողան երկրի վրայ: Աճեցէ՛ք եւ բազմացէ՛ք երկրի վրայ»:
18 So Noah went out with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives with him.
Դուրս ելան Նոյը, նրա հետ նաեւ իր կինը, իր որդիներն ու իր որդիների կանայք:
19 Every living creature, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, according to their families, left the ark.
Երկրի բոլոր գազանները, բոլոր սողուններն ու բոլոր թռչունները՝ իրենց տեսակներով, դուրս ելան տապանից:
20 Noah built an altar to Yahweh. He took some of the clean animals and some of the clean birds, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Նոյը զոհասեղան շինեց Աստծու համար: Նա առաւ բոլոր տեսակի անպիղծ անասուններից, բոլոր տեսակի անպիղծ թռչուններից եւ ողջակիզեց զոհասեղանի վրայ:
21 Yahweh smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart, “I will not again curse the ground because of mankind, even though the intentions of their hearts is evil from childhood. Nor will I again destroy everything living, as I have done.
Եւ Տէր Աստուած հոտոտեց անուշ բոյրը: Տէր Աստուած իր մտքում ասաց. «Մարդկանց չար արարքների համար ես երկիրն այլեւս չեմ անիծի, որովհետեւ մարդկանց միտքը մանկուց չարի ծառայութեան մէջ է: Ես այլեւս ոչ մի կենդանի էակի չեմ պատուհասի, ինչպէս արեցի:
22 While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease.”
Այսուհետեւ, քանի դեռ կայ երկիրը, թող չդադարեն սերմն ու հունձը, ցուրտն ու տօթը, ամառն ու գարունը, ցերեկն ու գիշերը»:
