< Genesis 7 >
1 Yahweh said to Noah, “Come, you and all your household, into the ark, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation.
Mgbe ụbọchị ahụ zuru, Onyenwe anyị kpọrọ Noa sị ya, “Baa nʼime ụgbọ mmiri, gị na ezinaụlọ gị niile, nʼihi na nʼime ndị niile bi nʼọgbọ a, ọ bụ naanị gị bụ onye ezi omume m hụrụ.

10 It came about that after the seven days, the waters of the flood came upon the earth.
Mgbe abalị asaa gafere, uju mmiri ahụ bịakwasịrị ụwa.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day, all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the windows of heaven were opened.
Nʼafọ narị isii nke ndụ Noa, nʼọnwa nke abụọ, nʼụbọchị nke iri na asaa, bụ ụbọchị isi iyi niile dị nʼime ime ala nupụtara nʼelu ala, mmiri niile dị na mbara eluigwe ka a hapụrụ ka ha wụdata nʼụwa.
12 The rain began and fell on the earth for forty days and forty nights.

13 On that very same day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ark.
14 They entered along with each wild animal according to its kind, and each sort of livestock according to its kind, and each creeping thing that creeps upon the earth according to its kind, and every sort of bird according to its kind, each kind of creature with wings.
15 Two of all flesh in which was the breath of life came to Noah and entered into the ark.
Ha bịakwutere Noa nʼime ụgbọ mmiri ahụ, abụọ abụọ site nʼihe niile ọbụla e kere eke, nke nwere ume ndụ nʼime ha.
16 The animals that went in were male and female of all flesh; they entered in just as God had commanded him. Then Yahweh shut the door after them.

Mmiri ndị ahụ toro laa elu kpuchie ugwu ukwu niile dị nʼokpuru mbara eluigwe.
20 The waters rose fifteen cubits above the tops of the mountains.
Mmiri ndị a toro kpuchiri ugwu niile, ruo na ịla elu mmiri ndị a site nʼelu ugwu ukwu niile ruru mita asaa.
21 All living beings that moved upon the earth died—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the living creatures that lived in great numbers upon the earth, and all mankind.
Ihe niile nwere ndụ nke na-ejegharị nʼelu ụwa kubiri ume. Anụ ufe, na anụ ụlọ, na anụ ọhịa, na ihe niile e kere eke jupụtara nʼụwa, na ụmụ mmadụ niile.

Ee, ihe niile na-eku ume nke bi nʼelu ala nwụrụ.
23 So every living thing that was on the surface of the earth was wiped out, from mankind to the larger animals, to creeping things, and to birds of the sky. They were all destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those with him in the ark were left.
Ihe niile nwere ume ndụ nʼelu ụwa ka e kpochapụrụ. Mmadụ na anụmanụ, na anụ na-akpụgharị nʼala na nnụnụ niile. A lara ha niile nʼiyi. Ma ọ bụ naanị Noa na ndị niile so ya nọdụ nʼụgbọ mmiri ahụ ka a hapụrụ ndụ.
