Genesis 25
1 Abraham took another wife; her name was Keturah.
| ئیبراهیم ژنێکی دیکەی هێنا کە ناوی قەتورە بوو. |
2 She bore him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
| لەویش زیمران، یۆقشان، مەدان، میدیان، یەشباق و شوەحی بوو. |
3 Jokshan became the father of Sheba and Dedan. The descendants of Dedan were the Assyrian people, the Letush people, and the Leum people.
| یۆقشان باوکی شەبا و دیدان بوو. وەچەکانی دیدانیش، ئەشووری و لەتوشی و لەئومییەکان بوون. |
4 Midian's sons were Ephah, Epher, Hanok, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were Keturah's descendants.
| کوڕەکانی میدیانیش عێفا، عێفەر، حەنۆک، ئەبیداع و ئەلداعە بوون. هەموو ئەمانە نەوەی قەتورە بوون. |
5 Abraham gave all that he owned to Isaac.
| ئیبراهیم هەرچی ماڵوموڵکی هەبوو دایە ئیسحاق، |
6 However, while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them to the land of the east, away from Isaac, his son.
| بەڵام کاتێک هێشتا لە ژیاندا بوو، دیاری بەو کوڕانەی دا کە لە کەنیزەکانی بوون و بەرەو خاکی ڕۆژهەڵات ناردنی، دوور لە ئیسحاقی کوڕی. |
7 These were the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, 175 years.
| ئیبراهیم سەد و حەفتا و پێنج ساڵ ژیا. |
8 Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man with a full life, and he was gathered to his people.
| ئینجا ئیبراهیم لە تەمەنێکی باشی پیریدا، دواهەناسەی دا و مرد، پیرەمێردێکی تێر لە ژیان خواردوو، ئیتر چووەوە پاڵ گەلەکەی خۆی. |
9 Isaac and Ishmael, his sons, buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite, which is near Mamre.
| هەردوو کوڕەکەشی، ئیسحاق و ئیسماعیل، باوکیان لە ئەشکەوتەکەی مەخپێلە کە بەرامبەر مەمرێیە و لە کێڵگەکەی عەفرۆنی کوڕی چۆحەری حیتیدایە، بە خاک سپارد. |
10 This field Abraham had bought from the sons of Heth. Abraham was buried there with Sarah his wife.
| ئیبراهیم ئەو کێڵگەیەی لە حیتییەکان کڕیبوو. لەوێ ئیبراهیم لەگەڵ سارای ژنی بە خاک سپێردرا. |
11 After the death of Abraham, God blessed Isaac his son, and Isaac lived near Beer Lahai Roi.
| دوای مردنی ئیبراهیم، خودا ئیسحاقی کوڕی بەرەکەتدار کرد. ئیسحاقیش لەلای بیری لەحەی ڕۆئییەوە نیشتەجێ بوو. |
12 Now these were the descendants of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's servant, bore to Abraham.
| ئەمانەش نەوەکانی ئیسماعیلی کوڕی ئیبراهیمن کە هاجەری میسری، کەنیزەکەی سارا، بۆ ئیبراهیمی بوو. |
13 These were the names of Ishmael's sons, according to their birth order: Nebaioth—the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
| ئەمانەش ناوی کوڕەکانی ئیسماعیلن، ناویان بەپێی لەدایکبوونیان: نەبایۆت کە نۆبەرەی ئیسماعیل بوو، هەروەها قێدار، ئەدبەئێل، میبسام، |
14 Mishma, Dumah, Massa,
| میشماع، دوما، مەسسا، |
15 Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.
| حەدەد، تێما، یەتور، نافیش و قێدما. |
16 These were Ishmael's sons, and these were their names, by their villages, and by their encampments; twelve princes according to their tribes.
| ئەمانە کوڕەکانی ئیسماعیل بوون، هەروەها ناوی دوازدە میرە خێڵەکییەکەن بەپێی هەوار و خێوەتگاکانیان. |
17 These were the years of the life of Ishmael, 137 years. He breathed his last and died, and was gathered to his people.
| ئیسماعیل سەد و سی و حەوت ساڵ ژیا، ئینجا دواهەناسەی دا و مرد و چووەوە پاڵ گەلەکەی خۆی. |
18 They lived from Havilah to Ashhur, which is near Egypt, as one goes toward Assyria. They lived in hostility with each other.
| نەوەکانی ئیسماعیل لە حەڤیلاوە هەتا شوور نیشتەجێ بوون، لە نزیک سنووری میسر لەسەر ڕێگای ئەشوور. ئەوان دژی هەموو براکانیان بوون. |
19 These were the events concerning Isaac, Abraham's son. Abraham became the father of Isaac.
| ئەمانەش نەوەکانی ئیسحاقی کوڕی ئیبراهیمن. ئیبراهیم ئیسحاقی بوو. |
20 Isaac was forty years old when he took as his wife Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramean of Paddan Aram, the sister of Laban the Aramean.
| ئیسحاق تەمەنی چل ساڵ بوو کاتێک ڕڤقەی کچی بتوئێلی ئارامی کە خوشکی لابانی ئارامی بوو لە پەدان ئارامەوە هێنای تاکو ببێتە ژنی. |
21 Isaac prayed to Yahweh for his wife because she was childless, and Yahweh answered his prayer, and Rebekah his wife conceived.
| ئیسحاق لە پێناو ژنەکەی لە یەزدان پاڕایەوە، چونکە نەزۆک بوو. یەزدانیش وەڵامی دایەوە و ڕڤقەی ژنی سکپڕ بوو. |
22 The children struggled together within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” She went to ask Yahweh about this.
| هەردوو کوڕەکە لە سکیدا ململانێی یەکتریان دەکرد، ئەویش گوتی: «بۆچی ئەمە لە من ڕوودەدات؟» ئیتر چوو هەتا پرسیار لە یەزدان بکات. |
23 Yahweh said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples will be separated from within you. One people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.”
| یەزدانیش پێی فەرموو: «دوو نەتەوە لە منداڵدانتن، دوو گەل لە هەناوتەوە لە یەک جیا دەبنەوە، گەلێکیان لە گەلەکەی دیکە بەهێزتر دەبێت، گەورەکە خزمەتی بچووکەکە دەکات.» |
24 When it was time for her to give birth, behold, there were twins in her womb.
| کە ڕۆژانی خۆی تەواو کرد و هاتە سەر منداڵبوون، بێگومان دووانەیەک لە منداڵدانی بوو. |
25 The first child came out red all over like a hairy garment. They called his name Esau.
| ئەوەیان کە یەکەم جار لەدایک بوو سوور بوو، هەموو لەشی وەک کەوڵێکی تووکن وابوو، بۆیە ناویان لێنا عیسۆ. |
26 After that, his brother came out. His hand was grasping Esau's heel. He was called Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when his wife bore them.
| دوای ئەم براکەی لەدایک بوو، کە بە دەستی پاژنە پێی عیسۆی گرتبوو، بۆیە ناویان لێنا یاقوب. ئیسحاق لە تەمەنی شەست ساڵیدا بوو کاتێک ڕڤقە ئەمانی بوو. |
27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the field; but Jacob was a quiet man, who spent his time in the tents.
| هەردوو کوڕەکە گەورە بوون. عیسۆ بووە ڕاوکەرێکی شارەزا و پیاوی دەشتودەر، بەڵام یاقوب پیاوێکی لەسەرخۆ و چادرنشین بوو. |
28 Now Isaac loved Esau because he ate the animals that he had hunted, but Rebekah loved Jacob.
| ئیسحاق عیسۆی زیاتر خۆشدەویست، چونکە حەزی لە گۆشتی نێچیر بوو، بەڵام ڕڤقە یاقوبی زیاتر خۆشدەویست. |
29 Jacob cooked some stew. Esau came in from the field, and he was weak from hunger.
| ڕۆژێک یاقوب چێشتی لێدەنا، عیسۆ لە دەشتودەر هاتەوە و پەکی کەوتبوو. |
30 Esau said to Jacob, “Feed me with that red stew. Please, I am exhausted!” That is why his name was called Edom.
| عیسۆ بە یاقوبی گوت: «هەندێکم لەو چێشتە سوورە بدەرێ! پەکم کەوتووە.» لەبەر ئەمەیە ناوی لێنرا ئەدۆم. |
31 Jacob said, “First sell me your birthright.”
| یاقوبیش گوتی: «تۆش ئەمڕۆ نۆبەرایەتییەکەی خۆتم پێ بفرۆشە.» |
32 Esau said, “Look, I am about to die. What good is the birthright to me?”
| عیسۆ گوتی: «من وا خەریکە دەمرم، ئیتر نۆبەرایەتیم بۆ چییە؟» |
33 Jacob said, “First swear to me,” so Esau swore an oath and in that way he sold his birthright to Jacob.
| بەڵام یاقوب گوتی: «ئادەی ئەمڕۆ سوێندم بۆ بخۆ.» ئەویش سوێندی بۆ خوارد و نۆبەرایەتییەکەی خۆی فرۆشتە یاقوب. |
34 Jacob gave Esau bread and stew of lentils. He ate and drank, then got up and went on his way. In this manner Esau despised his birthright.
| ئینجا یاقوب نان و نیسکی دایە عیسۆ. ئیتر عیسۆ خواردی و خواردیەوە، پاشان هەستا و ڕۆیشت. بەو شێوەیە عیسۆ سووکایەتی بە نۆبەرایەتی کرد. |
