Ezra 8
1 These are the leaders of their ancestors' families who left Babylon with me during the reign of King Artaxerxes.
౧అర్తహషస్త చక్రవర్తి పరిపాలనలో బబులోను దేశం నుంచి నాతో కలసి వచ్చిన కుటుంబ నాయకుల వంశావళి ఇది.
2 Of the descendants of Phinehas, Gershom. Of the descendants of Ithamar, Daniel. Of the descendants of David, Hattush,
౨ఫీనెహాసు వంశంనుంచి గెర్షోము. ఈతామారు వంశం నుంచి దానియేలు. దావీదు వంశం నుంచి హట్టూషు.
3 who was of the descendants of Shecaniah, who was from the descendants of Parosh; and Zechariah, and with him there were 150 males listed in the record of his genealogy.
౩పరోషు వంశంలో ఉన్న షెకన్యా వంశంనుంచి జెకర్యా, అతనితో పాటు 150 మంది పురుషులు.
4 Of the descendants of Pahath-Moab, Eliehoenai son of Zerahiah and with him were two hundred males.
౪పహత్మోయాబు వంశంలో ఉన్న జెరహ్య కొడుకు ఎల్యోయేనై, అతనితో పాటు 200 మంది పురుషులు.
5 Of the descendants of Zattu, Ben Jahaziel and with him were three hundred males.

6 Of the descendants of Adin, Ebed son of Jonathan and with him were listed fifty males.

7 Of the descendants of Elam, Jeshaiah son of Athaliah and with him were listed seventy males.

8 Of the descendants of Shephatiah, Zebadiah son of Michael and with him were listed eighty males.
౮షెఫట్య వంశంలో ఉన్న మిఖాయేలు కొడుకు జెబద్యా, అతనితో పాటు 80 మంది పురుషులు.
9 Of the descendants of Joab, Obadiah son of Jehiel and with him were listed 218 males.
౯యోవాబు వంశంలో ఉన్న యెహీయేలు కొడుకు ఓబద్యా, అతనితో పాటు 218 మంది పురుషులు.
10 Of the descendants of Bani, Shelomith son of Josiphiah and with him were listed 160 males.
౧౦షెలోమీతు వంశంలో ఉన్న యోసిప్యా కొడుకు, అతనితో పాటు 160 మంది పురుషులు.
11 Of the descendants of Bebai, Zechariah son of Bebai and with him were listed twenty-eight males.
౧౧బేబై వంశంలో ఉన్న బేబై కొడుకు జెకర్యా, అతనితో పాటు 28 మంది పురుషులు.
12 Of the descendants of Azgad, Johanan son of Hakkatan and with him were listed 110 males.
౧౨అజ్గాదు వంశంలో ఉన్న హక్కాటా కొడుకు యోహానాను, అతనితో పాటు 110 మంది పురుషులు.
13 Those of the descendants of Adonikam came later. These were their names: Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah and with them came sixty males.
౧౩అదోనీకాము సంతానంలోని చిన్న కొడుకులు ఎలీపేలెటు, యెహీయేలు, షెమయా, వారితో పాటు 60 మంది పురుషులు.
14 Of the descendants of Bigvai, Uthai and Zaccur and with him were listed seventy males.
౧౪బిగ్వయి వంశంలో ఉన్న ఊతై, జబ్బూదు, వారితో ఉన్న 70 మంది పురుషులు.
15 I gathered the travelers at the canal that goes to Ahava, and we camped there three days. I examined the people and priests, but could not find any descendants of Levi there.
౧౫నేను వీరందరినీ అహవా వైపు ప్రవహించే నది దగ్గర సమకూర్చాను. అక్కడ మేము మూడు రోజులు గుడారాలు వేసుకుని ఉన్నాం. అప్పుడు నేను అక్కడి ప్రజలను, యాజకులను పరిశీలించగా ఒక్క లేవీ గోత్రికుడూ నాకు కనబడలేదు.
16 So I sent for Eliezer, Ariel, Shemaiah, Elnathan, Jarib, and Elnathan and Nathan, Zechariah, and Meshullam—who were leaders—and for Joiarib and Elnathan—who were teachers.
౧౬అప్పుడు నేను పెద్దలైన ఎలీయెజెరు, అరీయేలు, షెమయా, ఎల్నాతాను, యారీబు, ఎల్నాతాను, నాతాను, జెకర్యా, మెషుల్లం అనే వారిని, ఉపదేశకులైన యోయారీబు ఎల్నాతాను అనే వారిని పిలిపించాను.
17 Next I sent them to Iddo, the leader in Kasiphia. I told them what to say to Iddo and his relatives, the temple servants living in Kasiphia, that is, to send to us servants for the house of God.

18 So they sent us by our God's good hand a man named Sherebiah, a prudent man. He was a descendant of Mahli son of Levi son of Israel. He came with eighteen sons and brothers.

19 With him came Hashabiah. There also were Jeshaiah, one of the sons of Merari, with his brothers and their sons, twenty men in all.

20 Of those assigned to serve in the temple, whom David and his officials gave to serve the Levites: 220, each of them assigned by name.

21 Then I proclaimed a fast at the Ahava Canal to humble ourselves before God, to seek a straight path from him for us, our little ones, and all our possessions.
౨౧అప్పుడు దేవుని సన్నిధిలో మమ్మల్ని మేము తగ్గించుకుని మాకూ, మా సంతానానికి, మా ఆస్తిపాస్తులకు క్షేమకరమైన ప్రయాణం జరిగేలా దేవుణ్ణి వేడుకోవడానికి అహవా నది దగ్గర ఉపవాసం ఉండి ప్రార్థించాలని ప్రకటించాను.
22 I was ashamed to ask the king for an army or horsemen to protect us against enemies along the way, since we had said to the king, 'The hand of our God is on all who seek him for good, but his might and wrath are on all who forget him.'
౨౨ఆయన్ను వేడుకునే వారికి క్షేమం కలిగించడానికి మన దేవుని హస్తం కాపుదలగా ఉంటుంది గానీ, ఆయనను తిరస్కరించే వారి పైకి ఆయన తీవ్రమైన కోపం రగులుకొంటుందని మేము రాజుతో చెప్పాం. అందువల్ల దారి మధ్యలో శత్రువుల బారి నుండి మమ్మల్ని కాపాడడానికి సైనికులను, గుర్రపు రౌతులను సహాయంగా పంపమని రాజును అడిగేందుకు నాకు సిగ్గు అనిపించింది.
23 So we fasted and sought God about this, and we pled to him.

24 Next I selected twelve men from the priestly officials: Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers.

25 I weighed out for them silver, gold, and the objects and offerings for the house of God that the king, his counselors and officials, and all Israel had freely offered.
౨౫మన దేవుని ఆలయం నిలబెట్టడానికి దేశపు రాజు, అతని మంత్రులు, అధిపతులు, ఇంకా అక్కడ ఉన్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయులంతా సమర్పించిన వెండి బంగారాలను, ఇతర సామగ్రిని బరువు తూచి వారికి అప్పగించాను.
26 So I weighed into their hand 650 talents of silver, one hundred talents of silver objects, one hundred talents of gold,

27 twenty gold bowls that were together valued at one thousand darics, and two well-polished bronze vessels as precious as gold.
౨౭7,000 తులాల బరువున్న 20 బంగారపు గిన్నెలు, బంగారమంత ఖరీదైన పరిశుద్ధమైన రెండు రాగి పాత్రలు లెక్కబెట్టి
28 Then I said to them, “You are consecrated to Yahweh, and these objects also, and the silver and gold are a freewill offering to Yahweh, the God of your ancestors.
౨౮వారికి అప్పగించి “మీరు యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ట అయినవారు, పాత్రలు కూడా ప్రతిష్ట అయినాయి. ఈ వెండి బంగారాలు మీ పూర్వీకుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా కోసం ఇచ్చిన అర్పణలు.
29 Watch over them and keep them until you weigh them out before the priestly officials, Levites, and leaders of the ancestors' clans of Israel in Jerusalem in the rooms of God's house.”
౨౯కాబట్టి మీరు యెరూషలేములో ఉన్న యెహోవా ఆలయం ఖజానా గదుల్లో యాజకుల, లేవీయుల, ఇశ్రాయేలు పెద్దల, ప్రధానుల సమక్షంలో వాటి బరువు తూచి లెక్క అప్పగించేదాకా వీటిని జాగ్రత్తగా ఉంచండి” అని వారితో చెప్పాను.
30 The priests and the Levites accepted the weighed silver, gold, and the objects in order to take them to Jerusalem, to our God's house.
౩౦యాజకులు, లేవీయులు వాటి లెక్క, బరువు సరిచూసుకుని, యెరూషలేములో ఉన్న మన దేవుని మందిరానికి తీసుకు వెళ్ళడానికి ఆ వెండి బంగారు పాత్రలను, ఇతర సామగ్రిని తీసుకున్నారు.
31 We went out from the Ahava Canal on the twelfth day of the first month to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us; he protected us from the hand of the enemy and the ones who wished to ambush us along the road.

32 So we entered Jerusalem and stayed there for three days.

33 Then on the fourth day the silver, gold, and objects were weighed out in our God's house into the hand of Meremoth son of Uriah the priest, and with him were Eleazar son of Phinehas, Jozabad son of Jeshua, and Noadiah son of Binnui the Levite.
౩౩నాలుగో రోజు వెండి బంగారు పాత్రలను మన దేవుని మందిరంలో యాజకుడైన ఊరియా కొడుకు మెరేమోతు కాటా వేశాడు. అతనితో పాటు ఫీనెహాసు కొడుకు ఎలియాజరు, లేవీ గోత్రికుడైన యేషూవ కొడుకు యోజాబాదు, బిన్నూయి కొడుకు నోవద్యా కూడా అక్కడ ఉన్నారు.
34 The number and weight of everything was determined. All the weight was written down at that time.
౩౪తీసుకువచ్చిన సామగ్రి లెక్క ప్రకారం, బరువు ప్రకారం అన్నిటినీ సరిచూసి వాటి మొత్తం బరువు ఎంతో పుస్తకంలో రాశారు.
35 The ones who came back from the captivity, the people of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all of Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats as a sin offering. All were a burnt offering for Yahweh.
౩౫చెరలోకి వెళ్ళిన వారికి పుట్టి చెర నుండి విడుదలై, తిరిగి వచ్చిన వారు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవునికి దహన బలులు అర్పించారు. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరి పక్షంగా 12 ఎద్దులను, 96 పొట్టేళ్ళను, 77 గొర్రెపిల్లలను అర్పించారు. పాపపరిహారార్థ బలి కోసం 12 మేకపోతులు తెచ్చి అన్నిటినీ దహనబలిగా యెహోవాకు అర్పించారు.
36 Then they gave the king's decrees to the king's high officials and the governors in the Province Beyond the River, and they helped the people and the house of God.
౩౬చక్రవర్తి ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలు ఉన్న దస్తావేజులను నది ఇవతల ఉన్న రాజు సేనాధిపతులకు, అధికారులకు అప్పగించారు. అప్పుడు వారు ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలకు, దేవుని ఆలయం పనికి సహాయం చేశారు.
