Ezra 1
1 In the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, Yahweh fulfilled his word that came from the mouth of Jeremiah, and stirred Cyrus's spirit. Cyrus' voice went out over his entire kingdom. This is what was written and spoken:
फारसका राजा कोरेसको पहिलो वर्षमा परमप्रभुले यर्मियाद्वारा बोल्नुभएको आफ्नो वचन पुरा गर्नुभयो, र कोरेसको आत्मालाई उत्तेजित पार्नुभयो । कोरेसको आदेश तिनका सारा राज्यभरि पुग्यो । लेखिएको र बोलिएको कुरो यही नै हो,
2 “Cyrus, king of Persia, says: Yahweh, God of Heaven, gave me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he appointed me to build for him a house in Jerusalem in Judea.
“फारसका राजा कोरेस भन्नुहुन्छ, 'परमप्रभु स्वर्गका परमेश्वरले मलाई सारा पृथ्वीका राज्यहरू दिनुभयो, र उहाँले यहूदियाको यरूशलेममा एउटा मन्दिर निर्माण गर्नलाई मलाई नियुक्त गर्नुभयो ।
3 Whoever is from his people (may his God be with him) may go up to Jerusalem and build a house for Yahweh, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem.
जो उहाँका मानिसहरू हुन् (तिनका परमेश्वर तिनीसित होऊन्) तिनीहरू यरूशलेममा जान र यरूशलेममा बास गर्नुहुने इस्राएलका परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको निम्ति एउटा मन्दिर बनाउन सक्छन् ।
4 People of any part of the kingdom where survivors of that land are living should provide them with silver and gold, possessions and animals, as well as a freewill offering for God's house in Jerusalem.”
राज्यको कुनै पनि क्षेत्रमा भएका मानिसहरू जहाँ त्यस देशका बाँकी बचेकाहरू बसोबास गर्दैछन्, तिनीहरूले यरूशलेममा भएको परमेश्वरको मन्दिर बनाउनलाई चाँदी र सुन, धनदौलत र गाईवस्तु अनि स्वेच्छा भेटी दिनुपर्छ ।”
5 Then the heads of the ancestors' clans of Judah and Benjamin, the priests and Levites, and everyone whose spirit God stirred to go and build his house arose.
तब परमप्रभुको मन्दिर निर्माण गर्न परमेश्वरले उत्तेजित पार्नुभएका हरेक मानिस, यहूदा र बेन्यामीनका कुलाका प्रमुख अगुवाहरू र पुजारीहरू अनि लेवीहरू उठे ।
6 Those around them supported their work with silver and gold objects, possessions, animals, valuables, and freewill offerings.
तिनीहरूका वरिपरि भएकाहरूले तिनीहरूको कामलाई चाँदी, सुनका चिजहरू, धन-सम्पत्ति, गाईवस्तु, मुल्यवान चिजहरू र स्वेच्छा भेटीहरू दिएर सहयोग गरे ।
7 Cyrus king of Persia also released the objects belonging to Yahweh's house that Nebuchadnezzar had brought from Jerusalem and put in his own gods' houses.
नबूकदनेसरले यरूशलेमबाट ल्याएका र आफ्ना देवताहरूको मन्दिरमा राखेका परमप्रभुको मन्दिरका चिजहरू पनि फारसका राजा कोरेस निकाले ।
8 Cyrus put them into the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out for Sheshbazzar, Judea's leader.
कोरेसले ती कोषाध्यक्ष मित्रेताको हातमा दिए जसले यहूदाका अगुवा शेशबस्सरको निम्ति ती चीजहरूको गणना गरे ।
9 This was their number: thirty gold basins, one thousand silver basins, twenty-nine other basins,
ती वस्तुहरूको सङ्ख्या यस प्रकार थिए: सुनका भाँडा तिसवटा, चाँदीका भाँडा एक हजारवटा, उनन्तिसवटा बाटा,
10 thirty gold bowls, 410 small silver bowls, and one thousand additional objects.
सुनका कचौरा तिसवटा, चार सय दसवटा चाँदीका स-साना कचौरा र एक हजारवटा अन्य भाँडाकुँडा ।
11 There were 5,400 gold and silver items in all. Sheshbazzar brought all of them when the exiles went from Babylon to Jerusalem.
सुन र चाँदीका सामानको जम्मा सङ्ख्या ५,४०० ओटा थियो । निर्वासितहरू बेबिलोनबाट यरूशलेममा फर्कंदा शेशबस्सरले ती सबै कुरा ल्याए ।
