Ezekiel 39
1 “Now you, son of man, prophesy against Gog and say, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Behold! I am against you, Gog, chief of Meshech and Tubal.
“Kisha wewe, mwanadamu, tabiri dhidi ya Gogu na sema, 'Bwana Yahwe asema hivi: Tazama! ni kinyume nawe, Gogu, mkuu wa Mesheki na Tubali.
2 I will turn you and lead you on; I will bring you up from the far north and bring you to the mountains of Israel.
Nitakugeuza na kukuongoza; nitakupandisha juu kutoka mbali kaskazini na kukuleta hata milima ya Israeli.
3 Then I will knock your bow out of your left hand and make the arrows fall from your right hand.
Kisha nitaufunga upinde wako utoke katika mkono wako wa kushoto na kuifanya mishale kuanguka kutoka kwenye mkono wako wa kuume.
4 You will fall on the mountains of Israel—you and all your troops and the soldiers who are with you. I will give you to the birds of prey and the wild beasts of the fields for food.
Utaanguka juu ya milima ya Israeli-wewe na jeshi lako late na maaskari walio pamoja nawe. Nitawapatia ndege mbua na wanyama pori wa mashambani kwa ajili ya chakula.
5 You will fall on the open field, for I myself declare it—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
Utaanguka juu ya uso wa shamba, kwa kuwa mimi mwenyewe nimesema hivyo-hivi ndivyo Bwana Yahwe asemavyo.
6 Then I will send out fire on Magog and on those living in safety on the coasts, and they will know that I am Yahweh.
Kisha nitapeleka moto juu ya Magogu na kwa wale waishio salama juu ya pwani, na watajua yakwamba mimi ni Yahwe.
7 For I will make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel, and I will no longer allow my holy name to be profaned; the nations will know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.
Kwa kuwa nitalifanya jina langu takatifu lijulikane kati ya watu wangu Israeli, na sitaruhusu tena jina langu takatifu litukanwe; mataifa watajua kwamba mimi ni Yahwe, Mtakatifu katika Israeli.
8 Behold! The day is coming, and it will take place—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
Tazama! Siku inakuja, na itachukua nafasi-hivi ndivyo Bwana Yahwe asemavyo.
9 The ones living in the cities of Israel will go out and they will use weapons to kindle and make fires and burn them—small shields, large shields, bows, arrows, the clubs and spears; they will make fires with them for seven years.
Hao wakaao katika miji ya Israeli watatoka nje na watatumia silaha kuwasha moto na kutengeneza moto na kuwachoma-ngao ndogo, ngao kubwa, pinde, mishale, rungu, na mikuki; watatengeneza mioto pamoja nao kwa muda wa siku saba.
10 They will not gather wood from the fields or cut down trees from the forests, since they will burn the weapons; they will take from those who wanted to take from them; they will plunder those who wanted to plunder them—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.”
Hawatakusanya kuni kutoka mashambani wala kukata miti kutoka kwenye misitu, kwa kuwa watazichoma hizo silaha; watawateka nyara wale watakaotaka kuwateka nyara-hivi ndivyo Bwana Yahwe asemavyo.”
11 Then it will happen on that day that I will make a place there for Gog—a grave in Israel, a valley for those who journey to the east of the sea. It will block those who wish to cross over. There they will bury Gog with all his multitudes. They will call it the Valley of Hamon Gog.
Kisha itakuwa katika hiyo siku ambayo nitaifanya sehemu huko kwa ajili ya Gogu-kaburi la Israeli, bonde kwa ajili ya wale wanaosafiri hata mashariki ya bahari. Litawazuia wale wanaotegemea kupita. Huko watamzika Gogu pamoja na kundi lake lote. Watapaita bonde la Hamon-Gogu.
12 For seven months the house of Israel will bury them in order to purify the land.
Kwa muda wa siku saba nyumba ya Israeli itawazika ili kuitakasa nchi.
13 For all the people of the land will bury them; it will be a memorable day for them when I am glorified—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
Kwa kuwa watu wa nchi watawazika; itakuwa siku ya kukumbukwa kwao wakati nitakapotukuzwa-hivi ndivyo Bwana Yahwe asemavyo.
14 Then they will designate men to continually go through the land, to find those who were traveling through, but who died and their bodies remained on the surface of the land, so that they may bury them, in order to cleanse the land. At the end of the seventh month they will begin their search.
Kisha watawateua watu kuendelea kwenda kwenye nchi, kuwatafuta wale waliokuwa wakisafiri, lakini waliokufa na miili yao kubaki juu ya uso wa nchi, ili kwamba waweze kuwazika, kwa ajili ya kusafisha nchi. Katika siku ya mwisho ya mwezi wa saba wataanza kutafuta.
15 As these men pass through the land, when they see any human bone, they will put a marker by it, until gravediggers come and bury it in the Valley of Hamon Gog.
Kama hawa watu wapitao kwenye nchi, watakapoona mfupa wowote wa binadamu, wataweka alama kwa huo, hadi wachimba kaburi watakapokuja na kuizika katika bonde la Hamoni Gogu.
16 There will be a city there by the name of Hamonah. In this way they will purify the land.
Kutakuwa na mji huko unaitwa Hamona. Wataitakasa nchi kwa njia hii.
17 Now to you, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this: Say to all the winged birds and all the wild beasts in the fields, 'Gather together and come. Gather from all around to the sacrifice that I myself am making for you, a large sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, so that you may consume flesh and drink blood.
Kwako wewe, mwanadamu, Bwana Yahwe asema hivi: Waambie ndege wote wenye mabawa na wanyama wote wa porini katika mashamba, 'Kusanyikeni pamoja na mje. Kusanyikeni kutoka pande zote kwenda kwenye dhabihu yote ambayo mimi mwenyewe ninayoifanya kwa ajili yako, dhabihu kubwa juu ya milima ya Israeli, ili kwamba mle nyama na kunywa damu.
18 You will consume the flesh of warriors and drink the blood of the princes of the earth; they will be rams, lambs, goats, and bulls, they were all fattened in Bashan.
Mtakula nyama ya walio hodari na kunywa damu ya wakuu wa dunia; watakuwa kondoo waume, wana kondoo, mbuzi, na ng'ombe, wote walikuwa wanene katika Basheni.
19 Then you will eat fat to your satisfaction; you will drink blood until drunkenness; this will be the sacrifice that I will slaughter for you.
Kisha mtakula mafuta hata kuridhika kwenu; mtakunywa damu hadi kulewa; hii itakuwa dhabihu nitakayoichinja kwa ajili yenu.
20 You will be satisfied at my table with horse, chariot, warrior, and every man of war—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'
Mtatosheka kwenye meza yangu pamoja na farasi, magari ya farasi, shujaa, na kila mtu wa vita-hivi ndivyo Bwana Yahwe asemavyo.'
21 I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see my judgment that I perform and my hand that I have set against them.
Nitauweka utukufu wangu kati ya mataifa, na mataifa yote yataona hukumu yangu ninayoionyesha na mkono wangu nimeuweka juu yao.
22 The house of Israel will know that I am Yahweh their God from that day onward.
Nyumba ya Israeli itajua yakwamba mimi ni Yahwe Mungu wao kutoka hiyo siku na kuendelea.
23 The nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity because of their iniquity by which they betrayed me, so I hid my face from them and gave them into the hand of their adversaries so that all of them fell by the sword.
Mataifa yatajua kwamba nyumba ya Israeli wameenda uhamishoni kwa sababu ya udhalimu wao kwa kunisaliti, hivyo naficha uso wangu kwao na kuwaweka kwenye mkono wa maadui zao ili kwamba wote waanguke kwa upanga.
24 I did to them according to their uncleanness and their sins, when I hid my face from them.
Nimewafanyia kutokana na uchafu wao na dhambi zao, nitakapokuwa nimeuficha uso wangu kwao.
25 Therefore the Lord Yahweh says this: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob, and I will have compassion on all the house of Israel, when I act with zeal for my holy name.
Kwa hiyo Bwana Yahwe asema hivi: Sasa nitawarudisha watu wa Yakobo, na kuwa na huruma juu ya nyumba yote ya Israeli, wakati nitakapoona wivu kwa ajili ya jina langu.
26 Then they will bear their shame and all the treason in which they betrayed me. They will forget all this when they rest in their land in safety, with no one to terrify them.
Kisha watabeba aibu yao na uhaini mkubwa walio nihaini. Watayasahau haya yote watakapopumzika katika nchi yao katika usalama, wala hakuna mtu atakaye waogofya.
27 When I restore them from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, I will show myself to be holy in the sight of many nations.
Wakati nitakapokuwa nimewarudisha kutoka kwa watu na kuwakusanya kutoka kwenye nchi za maadui zao, nitajionyesha mimi mwenyewe kuwa mtakatifu kwenye uso wa mataifa mengi.
28 Then they will know that I am Yahweh their God, for I sent them into captivity among the nations, but then I will gather them back to their land. I will not leave any of them among the nations.
Kisha watajua kwamba mimi ni Yahwe Mungu wao, kwa kuwa nimewapeleka utumwani kati ya mataifa, lakini kisha nitawakusanya kuwarudisha hata nchi yao. Sitamuacha hata mmoja wao kati ya mataifa.
29 I will no longer hide my face from them when I pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.”
Sitawaficha uso wangu kwao wakati nitakapomwaga Roho wangu katika nyumba ya Israeli-hivi ndivyo Bwana Yahwe asemavyo.”
