Ezekiel 37
1 The hand of Yahweh was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of Yahweh and set me down in the midst of a valley; it was full of bones.
A mão de Javé estava sobre mim, e ele me trouxe em Espírito de Javé, e me colocou no meio do vale; e estava cheio de ossos.
2 Then he made me pass through them round and round. Behold! A great many of them were in the valley. Behold! They were very dry.
Ele me fez passar por todos eles ao redor; e eis que havia muitos no vale aberto, e eis que eles estavam muito secos.
3 He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live again?” So I said, “Lord Yahweh, you alone know.”
Ele me disse: “Filho do homem, estes ossos podem viver?”. Respondi: “Senhor Yahweh, você sabe”.
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones. Listen to the word of Yahweh.
Again ele me disse: “Profetiza sobre estes ossos, e diz-lhes: 'Vocês secam os ossos, ouçam a palavra de Javé'.
5 The Lord Yahweh says this to these bones: Behold! I am about to put breath into you, and you will live.
O Senhor Javé diz a estes ossos: “Eis que farei entrar em vós a respiração e viverão”.
6 I will place sinews over you and bring flesh onto you. I will cover you with skin and put breath within you so you will live. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.'”
Eu farei entrar em vós, farei nascer carne em vós e vos cobrirei de pele, e porei em vós a respiração, e vivereis”. Então saberás que eu sou Yahweh””.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; as I prophesied, behold, a sound came, that of shaking. Then the bones drew together—bone against bone.
Por isso, profetizei como me foi ordenado. Como profetizei, houve um barulho, e eis que houve um terremoto. Então os ossos se uniram, osso a osso.
8 I looked and, behold, sinews were now on them, and flesh grew up and skin covered them. But there was still no breath in them.
Eu vi, e eis que havia nervos neles, e a carne subiu, e a pele os cobriu acima; mas não havia respiração neles.
9 Then Yahweh said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Breath, come from the four winds, and breathe on these who have been killed, so they may live.'”
Então ele me disse: “Profetiza ao vento, profetiza, filho do homem, e diz ao vento: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Vem dos quatro ventos, respira, e respira sobre estes mortos, para que vivam””.
10 So I prophesied as I was commanded; the breath came into them and they lived. Then they stood on their feet, a very great army.
Assim, profetizei como ele me ordenou, e a respiração entrou neles, e eles viveram, e se levantaram de pé, um exército extremamente grande.
11 Then Yahweh said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the entire house of Israel. Behold! They are saying, 'Our bones have dried up, and our hope is gone. We have been cut off.'
Então ele me disse: “Filho do homem, estes ossos são toda a casa de Israel. Eis que eles dizem: “Nossos ossos estão secos, e nossa esperança está perdida”. Estamos completamente isolados”.
12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Behold! I will open your graves and lift you out from them, my people. I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
Portanto, profetiza, e diz-lhes: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu abrirei vossos túmulos, e vos farei sair de vossos túmulos, meu povo; e vos trarei à terra de Israel.
13 Then you will know that I am Yahweh, when I open your graves and bring you out from them, my people.
Vocês saberão que eu sou Yahweh, quando eu tiver aberto seus túmulos e feito com que vocês saiam de seus túmulos, meu povo”.
14 I will place my Spirit within you so you will live, and I will cause you to rest in your land when you know that I am Yahweh. I declare and will do it—this is Yahweh's declaration.'”
porei em vós o meu Espírito e vivereis. Então eu vos colocarei em vossa própria terra; e sabereis que eu, Javé, o falei e o realizei”, diz Javé”.
15 Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
A palavra de Javé veio novamente a mim, dizendo:
16 “So now you, son of man, take one stick for yourself and write on it, 'For Judah and for the people of Israel, his companions.' Then take another stick and write on it, 'For Joseph, the branch of Ephraim, and for all the people of Israel, their companions.'
“Você, filho do homem, pegue um pau e escreva nele: 'Para Judá, e para os filhos de Israel seus companheiros'. Então pegue outro pau e escreva nele: “Para José, o pau de Efraim, e para toda a casa de Israel, seus companheiros”.
17 Bring both of them together into one stick, so that they become one in your hand.
Em seguida, junte-os uns aos outros em uma vara, para que eles se tornem um na sua mão.
18 When your people speak to you and say, 'Will you not tell us what these things of yours mean?'
“Quando os filhos de seu povo lhe falarem, dizendo: 'Não nos mostrará o que quer dizer com isso?
19 then say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Behold! I am taking the branch of Joseph that is in the hand of Ephraim and the tribes of Israel his companions and joining it to the branch of Judah, so that they will make one branch, and they will become one in my hand.'
diga-lhes: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu pegarei o bastão de José, que está na mão de Efraim, e as tribos de Israel seus companheiros; e os porei com ele, com o bastão de Judá, e os farei um bastão, e eles serão um na minha mão.
20 Hold in your hand the branches that you wrote on before their eyes.
As varas nas quais você escreve estarão em sua mão diante dos olhos deles”'.
21 Declare to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Behold! I am about to take the people of Israel from among the nations where they went. I will gather them from the surrounding lands and I will bring them to their land.
Diz-lhes: 'O Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que tomarei os filhos de Israel de entre as nações para onde eles foram, e os congregarei de todos os lados, e os trarei à sua própria terra.
22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and there will be one king as king over all of them, and they will no longer be two nations. They will no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
Farei deles uma nação na terra, nas montanhas de Israel”. Um rei será rei para todos eles. Eles não serão mais duas nações. Eles não serão mais divididos em dois reinos.
23 Then they will no longer defile themselves with their idols, their disgusting things, or any of their other sins. For I will save them from all of their faithless actions with which they have sinned, and I will purify them, so they will be my people and I will be their God.
Não se contaminarão mais com seus ídolos, nem com suas coisas detestáveis, nem com nenhuma de suas transgressões; mas eu os salvarei de todas as suas moradas em que pecaram e os purificarei. Assim, eles serão meu povo e eu serei seu Deus.
24 David my servant will be king over them. So there will be one shepherd over them all, and they will walk according to my decrees and they will keep my statutes and obey them.
“““Meu servo David será rei sobre eles. Todos eles terão um só pastor. Eles também caminharão em minhas ordenanças e observarão meus estatutos, e os cumprirão.
25 They will live in the land that I have given to my servant Jacob, where your fathers had stayed. They will live in it forever—they, their children, and their grandchildren, for David my servant will be their chief forever.
Eles habitarão na terra que eu dei a Jacó, meu servo, na qual viveram seus pais. Eles habitarão nela, eles e seus filhos, e os filhos de seus filhos, para sempre. David, meu servo, será para sempre o príncipe deles.
26 I will establish a covenant of peace with them. It will be an everlasting covenant with them. I will establish them and multiply them and set my holy place in their midst forever.
Além disso, eu farei um pacto de paz com eles. Será um pacto eterno com eles. Vou colocá-los, multiplicá-los e estabelecer meu santuário entre eles para sempre mais.
27 My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people.
Minha tenda também estará com eles. Eu serei seu Deus, e eles serão meu povo.
28 Then the nations will know that I am Yahweh who sets Israel apart, when my holy place is among them forever.'”
As nações saberão que eu sou Yahweh que santifica Israel, quando meu santuário estiver entre elas para sempre mais””.
