Ezekiel 25

1 Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,

Und das Wort des HERRN erging also an mich:

2 “Son of man, set your face against the people of Ammon and prophesy against them.

Menschensohn, wende dein Angesicht gegen die Kinder Ammon und weissage wider sie;

3 Say to the people of Ammon, 'Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. This is what the Lord Yahweh says: Because you said, “Aha!” over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile,

und sprich zu den Kindern Ammon: Höret das Wort Gottes, des HERRN! So spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil du Ha! ha! gerufen hast über mein Heiligtum, weil es entweiht ist, und über das Land Israel, weil es verwüstet ist, und über das Haus Juda, weil es in die Verbannung wandern mußte;

4 therefore, behold, I am giving you to a people in the east as their possession. They will set up camp against you and set up their tents among you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.

darum siehe, will ich dich den Morgenländern zum Besitztum geben; die sollen ihre Zeltlager in dir errichten und ihre Wohnungen in dir aufschlagen; sie sollen deine Früchte essen und deine Milch trinken.

5 I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the people of Ammon a field for flocks. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

Ich will Rabba zu einer Wohnung für Kamele machen und das Ammoniterland zu einem Lagerplatz der Herden, damit ihr erfahret, daß ich der HERR bin!

6 For the Lord Yahweh says this: You have clapped your hands and stamped your feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt within you against the land of Israel.

Denn also spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil du mit den Händen geklatscht und mit den Füßen gestampft, ja, dich von Herzen mit aller Verachtung über das Land Israel gefreut hast, darum,

7 Therefore, behold! I will strike you with my hand and give you as plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples and make you perish from among the countries! I will destroy you, and you will know that I am Yahweh.'

siehe, will ich meine Hand gegen dich ausstrecken und dich den Heiden zum Raub übergeben und dich aus den Völkern ausrotten und dich aus den Ländern vertilgen und dich verwüsten; so wirst du erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin!

8 The Lord Yahweh says this, 'Because Moab and Seir say, “Behold! The house of Judah is like every other nation.”

So spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil Moab und Seir sprechen: Siehe, das Haus Juda ist wie alle andern Völker!

9 Therefore, behold! I will open the slopes of Moab, starting at his cities on the border—the splendor of Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim—

darum, siehe, will ich Moabs Bergseite entblößen von den Städten, von den Städten an seinen Grenzen, welche eine Zierde des Landes sind, nämlich Beth-Jesimot, Baal-Meon und Kirjataim.

10 to the people of the east who have been against the people of Ammon. I will give them up as a possession so that the people of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations.

Den Morgenländern will ich sie mitsamt dem Ammoniterland zum Erbe geben, so daß man der Kinder Ammon unter den Heiden nimmermehr gedenken wird.

11 So I will perform judgments against Moab, and they will know that I am Yahweh.'

Und über Moab will ich Gericht halten, so werden sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin!

12 The Lord Yahweh says this, 'Edom has taken vengeance against the house of Judah and has committed wrong in doing so.

Ferner spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Weil Edom am Hause Juda Rachsucht geübt und sich damit verschuldet hat, da es sich an ihnen rächte,

13 Therefore, the Lord Yahweh says this: I will strike Edom with my hand and destroy every person and animal there. I will make them a ruined, abandoned place, from Teman to Dedan. They will fall by the sword.

darum spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Ich will meine Hand wider Edom ausstrecken und Menschen und Vieh darin ausrotten! Von Teman an bis gen Dedan will ich es in Trümmer legen; durchs Schwert sollen sie fallen!

14 I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will do to Edom according to my anger and my fury, and they will know my vengeance—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'

Ich will meine Rache an Edom durch mein Volk Israel vollstrecken; diese sollen an Edom handeln nach meinem Zorn und nach meinem Grimm, daß sie meine Rache erfahren sollen, spricht Gott, der HERR.

15 The Lord Yahweh says this, 'The Philistines have taken vengeance with malice and from within themselves they tried to destroy Judah again and again.

So spricht Gott, der HERR: Weil die Philister aus Rachsucht gehandelt und Rache geübt haben mit Verachtung, von Herzen und aus alter Feindschaft, um zu verderben,

16 So this is what the Lord Yahweh says: Behold! I will reach out with my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Kerethites and destroy the remnant who are along the seacoast.

so spricht Gott, der HERR, also: Siehe, ich will meine Hand gegen die Philister ausstrecken und die Kreter ausrotten und den Überrest an der Meeresküste umbringen.

17 For I will take great vengeance against them with furious acts of punishment, so they will know that I am Yahweh, when I take my vengeance on them.'”

Ich will große Rache an ihnen üben durch grimmige Züchtigungen, so werden sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich meine Rache über sie bringe.
