< Ezekiel 20 >
1 It came about in the seventh year, on the tenth day of the fifth month, that elders of Israel came to inquire of Yahweh and sat before me.
Napasamak nga iti maikapito a tawen, iti maikasangapulo nga aldaw iti maikalima a bulan, immay dagiti panglakayen ti Israel tapno makiumanda kenni Yahweh ket nagtugawda iti sangoanak.
2 Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
Ket nagsao ni Yahweh kaniak a kunana,
3 “Son of man, declare to the elders of Israel and say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Have you come to inquire of me? As I live, I will not be inquired of by you!—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'
“Anak ti tao, ipakaammom kadagiti panglakayen ti Israel a kunam, 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Immaykayo kadi tapno agsaludsod kaniak? Iti naganko a sibibiag a Dios, saandak a mapagsaludsodan! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.'
4 Will you judge them? Will you judge, son of man? Let them know about their fathers' abominations.
Ukomem kadi ida? Mangukomka kadi anak ti tao? Ipakaammom kadakuada dagiti kinadakes dagiti ammada!
5 Say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: On the day that I chose Israel and raised my hand to swear an oath to the descendants of the house of Jacob, and made myself known to them in the land of Egypt, when I raised my hand to swear an oath to them. I said, “I am Yahweh your God”—
Ibagam kadakuada, 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Iti aldaw a pinilik ti Israel ket intayagko ti imak tapno agsapataak kadagiti kaputotan ti balay ni Jacob, ken impakaammok ti bagik kadakuada iti daga ti Egipto. Idi intayagko ti imak tapno agsapataak kadakuada, kinunak, “Siak ni Yahweh a Diosyo”—
6 on that day I raised my hand to swear an oath to them that I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had carefully selected for them. It was flowing with milk and honey; it was the most beautiful ornament among all the lands.
iti dayta nga aldaw ket intayagko ti imak tapno isapatak kadakuada nga iruarko ida iti daga ti Egipto ket ipanko ida iti daga a pinilik a nasayaat para kadakuada. Daga daytoy nga agay-ayus iti gatas ken diro; isu ti kapipintasan a daga kadagiti amin a daga!
7 I said to them, “Let each man throw away the detestable things from before his eyes and the idols of Egypt. Do not make yourselves unclean; I am Yahweh your God.”
Kinunak kadakuada, “Tunggal maysa ket ibellengna dagiti makarimon a banbanag a daydayawenna ken dagiti didiosen ti Egipto. Saanyo a rugitan dagiti bagbagiyo; Siak ni Yahweh a Diosyo.”
8 But they rebelled against me and were unwilling to listen to me. Each man did not throw away the detestable things from before his eyes nor forsake the idols of Egypt, so I determined to pour out my fury upon them to satisfy my wrath among them in the middle of the land of Egypt.
Ngem nagrebeldeda kaniak ket saanda kayat ti dumngeg kaniak. Saan nga imbelleng ti tunggal maysa dagiti makarimon a banbanag a daydayawenna wenno binaybay-an dagiti didiosen ti Egipto, isu nga inkeddengko nga ibuyatko ti pungtotko kadakuada tapno mapnek ti ungetko kadakuada iti daga ti Egipto.
9 I acted for my name's sake so it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they were staying. I made myself known to them, in their eyes, by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.
Nagtignayak gapu iti naganko tapno saan a matulawan daytoy iti imatang dagiti nasion a pagnanaedanda. Impakaammok ti bagik kadakuada, iti imatangda, babaen iti panangiruarko kadakuada iti daga ti Egipto.
10 So I sent them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness.
Isu nga inruarko ida iti daga ti Egipto ket impanko ida iti let-ang.
11 Then I gave them my statutes and made my decrees known to them, by which a man will live if he obeys them.
Kalpasanna, intedko kadakuada dagiti alagadek ken impakaammok kadakuada dagiti lintegko, a pagbiagan ti maysa a tao no agtulnog kadagitoy.
12 I also gave them my Sabbaths as a sign between myself and them, for them to know that I am Yahweh who makes them holy.
Intedko met kadakuada ti Aldaw a Panaginana a kas pagilasinan iti nagbaetanmi, tapno maammoanda a Siak ni Yahweh a nangidaton kadakuada kaniak.
13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness. They did not walk in my statutes; instead, they rejected my decrees, by which a man will live if he obeys them. They greatly profaned my Sabbaths, so I said I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness in order to end them.
Ngem nagrebelde kaniak ti balay ti Israel idi addada iti let-ang. Saanda a nagtulnog kadagiti alagadek; ngem ketdi, linaksidda dagiti lintegko, a pagbiagan ti maysa a tao no agtulnog kadagitoy. Tinulawanda iti kasta unay ti Aldaw a Panaginana, isu a kinunak nga ibuyatko ti pungtotko kadakuada iti let-ang tapno mapapatayda.
14 But I acted for my name's sake so it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out of Egypt.
Ngem nagtignayak gapu iti naganko tapno saan a matulawan daytoy iti imatang dagiti nasion a nakaimatang iti panangiruarko kadakuada iti Egipto.
15 So I myself also raised my hand to swear an oath to them in the wilderness not to bring them into the land that I had been going to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey, which was the most beautiful ornament among all the lands.
Isu nga intag-ayko manen ti imak tapno isapatak kadakuada idiay let-ang a saanko ida nga ipan iti daga nga itedko kadakuada, daga nga agay-ayus iti gatas ken diro, nga isu ti kapipintasan a daga kadagiti amin a daga.
16 I swore this because they had rejected my decrees and did not walk in my statutes, and they profaned my Sabbaths, since their hearts walked after their idols.
Insapatak daytoy gapu ta linaksidda dagiti lintegko ken saanda a nagtulnog kadagiti alagadek, ken tinulawanda ti Aldaw a Panaginana, agsipud ta sinurot dagiti pusoda dagiti didiosenda.
17 But my eye spared them from their destruction and I did not annihilate them in the wilderness.
Ngem naasi dagiti matak kadakuada gapu iti pannakadadaelda, isu a saanko ida a pinukaw idiay let-ang.
18 I said to their children in the wilderness, “Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers, or keep their rules, or defile yourselves with their idols.
Kinunak kadagiti annakda a lallaki ken babbai idiay let-ang, “Saankayo nga agtulnog kadagiti alagaden dagiti nagannakyo; saanyo a tungpalen dagiti lintegda wenno tulawan dagiti bagbagiyo babaen kadagiti didiosen.
19 I am Yahweh your God, walk in my statutes; keep my decrees and obey them.
Siak ni Yahweh a Diosyo! Agtulnogkayo kadagiti alagadek; tungpalenyo dagiti bilinko ken agtulnogkayo kadagitoy!
20 Keep my Sabbaths holy so that they will be a sign between me and you, so that you will know that I am Yahweh your God.”
Ngilinenyo ti Aldaw a Panaginana tapno agbalinto daytoy a pagilasinan iti nagbaetantayo, tapno maammoanyo a Siak ni Yahweh a Diosyo.”
21 But their sons and daughters rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes or keep my decrees, by which a man might live if he obeys them. They profaned my Sabbaths, so I determined to pour out my fury upon them to satisfy my wrath against them in the wilderness.
Ngem nagrebelde kaniak dagiti annakda a lallaki ken babbai. Saanda a nagtulnog kadagiti alagadek wenno tinungpal dagiti bilinko, a pagbiagan ti maysa a tao no agtulnog kadagitoy. Tinulawanda ti Aldaw a Panaginana, isu nga inkeddengko nga ibuyatko ti pungtotko kadakuada idiay let-ang.
22 But I turned my hand away and acted for my name's sake, so it would not be profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought out the Israelites.
Ngem inggawidko ti imak ket nagtignayak gapu iti naganko, tapno saan a matulawan iti imatang dagiti nasion a nakaimatang iti panangiruarko kadagiti Israelita idiay Egipto.
23 I myself also lifted up my hand to swear to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them among the lands.
Intag-ayko manen ti imak idiay let-ang, tapno isapatak kadakuada nga iwarasko ida kadagiti nasion ken iwarawarak ida kadagiti daga.
24 I decided to do this since they had not obeyed my decrees, and since they had rejected my statutes and profaned my Sabbaths. Their eyes were longing after their fathers' idols.
Inkeddengko nga aramidek daytoy agsipud ta saanda a nagtulnog kadagiti lintegko, ken agsipud ta linaksidda dagiti alagadek ken tinulawanda ti Aldaw a Panaginana. Tartarigagayan dagiti matada dagiti didiosen dagiti nagannakda.
25 Then I also gave them statutes that were not good, and decrees by which they could not live.
Kalpasanna, inikkak pay ida kadagiti saan a nasayaat nga alagaden, ken kadagiti linteg a saan a makaited iti biag.
26 I declared them to be unclean through their gifts—they made a sacrifice of every firstborn of the womb and caused them to pass through the fire—that I might fill them with horror so they will know that I am Yahweh!'
Pinagbalinko ida a narugit babaen kadagiti sagutda, idi pinuoranda ti tunggal inauna nga anak dagiti babbai. Inaramidko daytoy tapno pagbutngek ida tapno maammoanda a Siak ni Yahweh!'
27 Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel and say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: In this also your fathers blasphemed me when they were unfaithful to me.
Ngarud, anak ti tao, ipakaammom daytoy iti balay ti Israel; ibagam kadakuada, 'Kastoy ni Yahweh nga Apo: Tinabbaawandak dagiti nagannakyo babaen iti panangpanawda kaniak. Inaramidda daytoy iti kastoy a wagas:
28 When I brought them into the land that I had sworn to give them, and then whenever they saw any high hill and leafy tree, they offered their sacrifices, they provoked me by their offerings, and there they also burned their fragrant incense and poured out their drink offerings.
idi impanko ida iti daga nga insapatak nga itedko kadakuada, idi nakitada dagiti amin a nangangato a turod ken dagiti narukbos a kayo, ket sadiay ti nangidatonanda kadagiti sakripisioda ket pinagpungtotdak babaen iti panangidatonda sadiay. Sadiay met ti nangpuoranda kadagiti nabanglo nga insenso ken nangibukbokanda kadagiti datonda a mainum.
29 Then I said to them, “What is this high place where you bring offerings there?” So the name is called Bamah to this day.'
Ket sinaludsodko kadakuada, “Ania aya daytoy a nangato a lugar a pangium-umayanyo kadagiti datonyo?” Isu a napanaganan iti Bamah ti bantay agingga ita nga aldaw.'
30 Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Why do you make yourselves unclean with the ways of your fathers? So why do you act like prostitutes, searching for disgusting things?
Ibagam ngarud iti balay ti Israel, 'Kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo: Apay aya a rugitanyo dagiti bagbagiyo babaen iti panangtuladyo kadagiti aramid dagiti nagannakyo? Ken apay aya nga agtigtignaykayo a kasla balangkantis, nga agbirbirok kadagiti makarimon a banbanag?
31 When you offer up your gifts—when you cause your sons to pass through the fire—to this day you defile yourselves with all your idols. So why should I let you seek me, house of Israel? As I live—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration—I will not allow you to seek me.
Ta idi indatonyo dagiti sagutyo ken pinuoranyo dagiti annakyo a lallaki, rinugitanyo dagiti bagbagiyo gapu kadagiti amin a didiosenyo agingga iti daytoy agdama nga aldaw. Isu a rumbeng kadi a mapagsaludsodandak, O balay ti Israel? Iti naganko a sibibiag a Dios—kastoy ti pakaammo ti Apo a ni Yahweh—saandak a mapagsaludsodan!
32 The thought that is forming in your mind will never happen. You say, “Let us be like the other nations, like the clans in the other lands who worship wood and stone.”
Pumudnonto dagiti panpanunotenyo. Kunayo, “Agbalintayo a kasla kadagiti dadduma a nasion, a kasla kadagiti puli kadagiti dadduma a daga nga agdaydayaw iti kayo ken bato!”
33 As I live—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration—I will certainly reign over you with a mighty hand, a raised arm, and fury that will be poured out on you.
Iti naganko a sibibiag a Dios—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo—awan duadua nga iturayankayonto babaen iti nabileg nga imak ken nakaunnat a takkiagko, ken iti pungtotko a maibuyatto kadakayo!
34 I will bring you out from the other peoples and will gather you out of the countries among whom you have been scattered. I will do this with a mighty hand and with fury poured out.
Iruarkayonto manipud kadagiti dadduma a tattao ken ummongenkayonto manipud kadagiti pagilian a nakaiwarawaraanyo. Aramidekto daytoy babaen iti nabileg nga imak ken iti pungtotko a maibuyat.
35 Then I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will judge you face to face.
Kalpasanna, ipankayonto iti let-ang dagiti tattao, ket sadiayto ti pangukomak kadakayo iti rupanrupa.
36 As I judged your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so also I will judge you—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.
Kas iti panangukomko kadagiti ammayo idiay let-ang iti daga ti Egipto, kastanto met ti panangukomko kadakayo! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.
37 I will cause you to pass under my rod, and I will make you obey the requirements of the covenant.
Paglasatenkayonto iti baba ti sarukodko, ken isinggalutkayonto iti tulag;
38 I will purge from among you the rebels and those who revolt against me. I will send them out from the land where they are staying as foreigners, but they will not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.
Ikkatekto kadakayo dagiti nasukir ken dagiti mangsalsalungasing kaniak. Iruarkonto ida iti daga a pagnanaedanda a kas ganggannaet, ngem saandanto a sumrek iti daga ti Israel. Iti kasta, maammoanyonto a Siak ni Yahweh!
39 So to you, house of Israel, the Lord Yahweh says this: Each of you should go to his own idols. Worship them if you will refuse to listen to me, but you must no longer profane my holy name with your gifts and your idols.
Isu a kenka, balay ti Israel, kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Tunggal maysa kadakayo ket mapan kadagiti bukodna a didiosen. Agdayawkayo kadagitoy no saanyo kayat a dumngeg kaniak, ngem nasken a saanyon a tulawan ti nasantoan a naganko babaen kadagiti sagutyo ken kadagiti didiosenyo.
40 For on my holy mountain, on the mountain peak of Israel—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration—all of the house of Israel will worship me there in the land. I will be pleased to require your offerings there, and also the firstfruits of your tribute with all your holy things.
Ta iti nasantoan a bantayko, iti tapaw ti bantay ti Israel—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo—dayawendakto sadiay ti amin a balay ti Israel nga adda iti daga. Maragsakanakto a mangkiddaw kadagiti datonyo sadiay, ken kasta met kadagiti umuna a bunga ti sagutyo agraman dagiti amin a nasantoan a kukuayo.
41 I will accept you like fragrant incense when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered. I will show myself as holy among you for the nations to see.
Awatenkayonto a kas iti nabanglo nga insenso inton iruarkayo manipud kadagiti tattao ken ummongenkayo manipud kadagiti pagilian a nakaiwarawaraanyo. Ipakitakto a nasantoanak kadakayo tapno makita dagiti nasion.
42 Then, when I bring you to the land of Israel, to the land that I have lifted up my hand to swear to give to your fathers, you will know that I am Yahweh.
Kalpasanna, inton ipankayo iti daga ti Israel, iti daga nga insapatak nga ited kadagiti nagannakyo, maammoanyonto a siak ni Yahweh.
43 There you will call to mind your conduct and all of your deeds by which you defiled yourselves, and you will despise yourselves in your own eyes for all your evil deeds that you have done.
Ket malagipyonto dagiti dakes a wagasyo ken ti amin nga aramidyo a namagbalin kadakayo a narugit, ket kagurayonto dagiti bagbagiyo iti bukodyo met laeng a panagkita gapu kadagiti amin a dakes nga inaramidyo.
44 So you will know that I am Yahweh when I do this to you because of my name's sake, and not because of your evil deeds, and not because of your corrupt deeds, house of Israel—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'”
Maammoanyonto ngarud a siak ni Yahweh inton aramidek daytoy kadakayo gapu iti naganko, saan a gapu kadagiti dakes a wagasyo wenno kadagiti narugit nga aramidyo, O balay ti Israel! —kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh nga Apo.'”
45 Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
Ket nagsao ni Yahweh kaniak a kunana,
46 “Son of man, set your face toward the southern lands, and speak against the south; prophesy against the forest of the Negev.
“Anak ti tao, sumangoka kadagiti akin-abagatan a daga, ket agsaoka maibusor iti abagatan; agipadtoka maibusor iti kabakiran ti Negeb.
47 Say to the forest of the Negev, 'This is Yahweh's declaration—the Lord Yahweh says this: See, I will set a fire among you. It will devour every fresh tree and every dried tree among you. The fiery flame will not be quenched; every face from the south to the north will be burned.
Ibagam iti kabakiran ti Negeb, 'Denggem ti pakaammo ni Yahweh! Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh nga Apo: Kitaem, mangpasgedakto iti apuy kenka. Uramento daytoy ti amin a nalangto a kayo ken ti amin a nagango a kayo nga adda kadakayo. Saanto a maiddep ti sumsumged nga apuy; mapuoranto ti tunggal rupa manipud iti abagatan agingga iti amianan.
48 Then all flesh will see that I am Yahweh when I light the fire, and it will not be quenched.'”
Ket makitanto ti amin a lasag a siak ni Yahweh inton pasgedak ti apuy, ken saanto a maiddep daytoy.'”
49 Then I said, “Alas! Lord Yahweh, they are saying of me, 'Is he not a mere teller of parables?'”
Ket kinunak, “O Apo a Yahweh, kunkunada kaniak, 'Saan aya a mannanao laeng isuna kadagiti pangngarig?'”
