< Ezekiel 2 >
1 He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet; then I will speak to you.”
Ɔka kyerɛɛ me se, “Onipa ba, sɔre gyina hɔ na me ne wo nkasa.”
2 Then, as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.
Ɔrekasa no, Honhom no bɛhyɛɛ me mu maa me so gyinaa hɔ, na metee se ɔrekasa kyerɛ me.
3 He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the people of Israel, to rebellious nations that have rebelled against me—both they and their ancestors have sinned against me up to this very day!
Ɔkae se, “Onipa ba, meresoma wo akɔ Israelfo mu, atuatew man a wayɛ dɔm atia me; wɔne wɔn agyanom ayɛ dɔm atia me abesi nnɛ.
4 Their descendants have stubborn faces and hard hearts. I am sending you to them, and you will say to them, 'This is what the Lord Yahweh says.'
Nnipa a meresoma wo wɔn nkyɛn no yɛ nnipa a wɔasen wɔn kɔn na wɔn aso awu. Ka kyerɛ wɔn se, ‘Sɛɛ na Otumfo Awurade se.’
5 Either they will listen or they will not listen. They are a rebellious house, but they will at least know that a prophet has been among them.
Na sɛ wotie anaa wɔantie a, esiane sɛ wɔyɛ atuatewfo nti, wobehu ampa ara sɛ odiyifo bi aba wɔn mu.
6 You, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, although you are with briers and thorns and although you live with scorpions. Do not fear their words or be dismayed by their faces, since they are a rebellious house.
Na wo, onipa ba, nsuro wɔn anaasɛ wɔn nsɛm. Nsuro, ɛwɔ mu sɛ nsasono ne nsɔe atwa wo ho ahyia na wote nkekantwɛre mu de, nanso nsuro nea wɔka, na mma wɔmmɔ wo hu, ɛwɔ mu sɛ wɔyɛ atuatewfo.
7 But you will speak my words to them, whether they listen or not, because they are most rebellious.
Wɔyɛ atuatewfo ankasa nanso sɛ wobetie oo, sɛ wɔrentie oo, ɛsɛ sɛ woka me nsɛm kyerɛ wɔn.
8 But you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am about to give to you!”
Nanso wo onipa ba, tie asɛm a meka kyerɛ wo no. Ntew atua te sɛ saa atuatewfo no; bue wʼanom na di nea mede ma wo no.”
9 Then I looked, and a hand was extended out to me; in it was a written scroll.
Afei mehwɛe, na mihuu nsa bi a ateɛ wɔ me so, na mu na nhoma mmobɔwee bi wɔ.
10 He spread it out before me; it had been written on both its front and back, and written on it were lamentations, mourning, and woe.
Ɔtrɛw mu wɔ mʼanim. Nʼafanu no mu, na wɔakyerɛw kwadwom, awerɛhowdi ne nnome nsɛm.
