Ezekiel 2

1 He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet; then I will speak to you.”

I powiedział do mnie: Synu człowieczy, stań na nogi, a będę do ciebie mówił.

2 Then, as he spoke to me, the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.

I wstąpił we mnie duch, gdy przemówił do mnie, i postawił mnie na nogi; potem słyszałem tego, który mówił do mnie.

3 He said to me, “Son of man, I am sending you to the people of Israel, to rebellious nations that have rebelled against me—both they and their ancestors have sinned against me up to this very day!

Powiedział mi: Synu człowieczy, ja cię posyłam do synów Izraela, do narodu buntowniczego, który mi się sprzeciwił. Oni i ich ojcowie występowali przeciwko mnie aż do dziś.

4 Their descendants have stubborn faces and hard hearts. I am sending you to them, and you will say to them, 'This is what the Lord Yahweh says.'

Są to synowie o bezczelnych twarzach i zatwardziałym sercu. Do nich cię posyłam. Powiesz im: Tak mówi Pan BÓG.

5 Either they will listen or they will not listen. They are a rebellious house, but they will at least know that a prophet has been among them.

A oni, czy posłuchają, czy nie – gdyż są domem buntowniczym – przecież będą wiedzieć, że był wśród nich prorok.

6 You, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, although you are with briers and thorns and although you live with scorpions. Do not fear their words or be dismayed by their faces, since they are a rebellious house.

Ale ty, synu człowieczy, nie bój się ich ani nie lękaj się ich słów, chociaż otaczają cię osty i ciernie i mieszkasz wśród skorpionów. Nie bój się ich słów ani nie lękaj się ich twarzy, gdyż są domem buntowniczym.

7 But you will speak my words to them, whether they listen or not, because they are most rebellious.

Powiedz im moje słowa, czy usłuchają, czy nie, gdyż są zbuntowani.

8 But you, son of man, listen to what I am saying to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth and eat what I am about to give to you!”

Lecz ty, synu człowieczy, słuchaj, co mówię do ciebie: Nie bądź zbuntowany jak [ten] dom buntowniczy. Otwórz swe usta i zjedz, co ci daję.

9 Then I looked, and a hand was extended out to me; in it was a written scroll.

I spojrzałem, a oto ręka [była] wyciągnięta do mnie, a w niej zwój księgi;

10 He spread it out before me; it had been written on both its front and back, and written on it were lamentations, mourning, and woe.

A on rozwinął go przede mną. Był zapisany z jednej i z drugiej strony, a spisane były w nim lamenty, żal i biadania.
