Exodus 40
1 Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
Falou mais o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo:
2 “On the first day of the first month of the new year you must set up the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.
No primeiro mes, no primeiro dia do mes, levantarás o tabernáculo da tenda da congregação,
3 You must place the ark of the testimony in it, and you must shield the ark with the curtain.
E porás nele a arca do testemunho, e cobrirás a arca com o véu.
4 You must bring in the table and set in order the things that belong on it. Then you must bring in the lampstand and set up the lamps.
Depois meterás nele a mesa, e porás em ordem o que se deve pôr em ordem nela; também meterás nele o castiçal, e acenderás as suas lâmpadas.
5 You must put the golden incense altar before the ark of the testimony, and you must put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
E porás o altar de ouro para o incenso diante da arca do testemunho: então pendurarás a coberta da porta do tabernáculo.
6 You must put the altar for burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.
Porás também o altar do holocausto diante da porta do tabernáculo da tenda da congregação.
7 You must put the large basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and you must put water in it.
E porás a pia entre a tenda da congregação e o altar, e nela porás água.
8 You must set up the courtyard around it, and you must hang up the curtain at the courtyard entrance.
Depois porás o pátio ao redor, e pendurarás a coberta à porta do pátio.
9 You must take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything that is in it. You must set it apart and all its furnishings to me; then it will be holy.
Então tomarás o azeite da unção, e ungirás o tabernáculo, e tudo o que há nele: e o santificarás com todos os seus vasos, e será santo
10 You must anoint the altar for burnt offerings and all its utensils. You must set apart the altar to me and it will become very holy to me.
Ungirás também o altar do holocausto, e todos os seus vasos; e santificarás o altar; e o altar será uma coisa santíssima.
11 You must anoint the bronze basin and its base and set it apart to me.
Então ungirás a pia e a sua base, e a santificarás.
12 You are to bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and you must wash them with water.
Farás também chegar a Aarão e a seus filhos à porta da tenda da congregação; e os lavarás com água.
13 You are to clothe Aaron with the garments that are set apart to me, anoint him and set him apart so that he may serve as my priest.
E vestirás a Aarão os vestidos santos, e o ungirás, e o santificarás, para que me administre o sacerdócio.
14 You are to bring his sons and clothe them with coats.
Também farás chegar a seus filhos, e lhes vestirás as túnicas,
15 You must anoint them as you anointed their father so that they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will make for them a permanent priesthood throughout their people's generations.”
E os ungirás como ungiste a seu pai, para que me administrem o sacerdócio, e a sua unção lhes será por sacerdócio perpétuo nas suas gerações.
16 This is what Moses did; he followed all that Yahweh had commanded him. He did all these things.
E fê-lo Moisés: conforme a tudo o que o Senhor lhe ordenou, assim o fez.
17 So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month in the second year.
E aconteceu no mês primeiro, no ano segundo, ao primeiro do mes, que o tabernáculo foi levantado;
18 Moses set up the tabernacle, put its bases in place, set up its frames, attached its bars, and set up its pillars and posts.
Porque Moisés levantou o tabernáculo, e pôs as suas bases, e armou as suas tábuas, e meteu nele os seus varais, e levantou as suas colunas;
19 He spread the covering over the tabernacle and put tent over it, as Yahweh had commanded him.
E estendeu a tenda sobre o tabernáculo, e pôs a coberta da tenda sobre ela, em cima, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
20 He took the covenant decrees and put them into the ark. He also placed the poles on the ark and put the atonement lid on it.
Tomou o testemunho, e pô-lo na arca, e meteu os varais à arca; e pôs o propiciatório sobre a arca, em cima.
21 He brought the ark into the tabernacle. He set up the curtain for it to shield the ark of the testimony, as Yahweh had commanded him.
E levou a arca no tabernáculo, e pendurou o véu da cobertura, e cobriu a arca do testemunho, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
22 He put the table into the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the curtain.
Pôs também a mesa na tenda da congregação, ao lado do tabernáculo para o norte, fora do véu,
23 He placed the bread in order on the table before Yahweh, as Yahweh had commanded him.
E sobre ela pôs em ordem o pão perante o Senhor, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
24 He put the lampstand into the tent of meeting, across from the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.
Pôs também na tenda da congregação o castiçal defronte da mesa, ao lado do tabernáculo para o sul,
25 He lit the lamps before Yahweh, as Yahweh had commanded him.
E acendeu as lâmpadas perante o Senhor, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
26 He put the golden incense altar into the tent of meeting in front of the curtain.
E pôs o altar de ouro na tenda da congregação, diante do véu,
27 He burned fragrant incense on it, as Yahweh had commanded him.
E acendeu sobre ele o incenso de especiarias aromáticas, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
28 He hung the curtain at the tabernacle entrance.
Pendurou também a coberta da porta do tabernáculo,
29 He put the altar for the burnt offering at the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting. He offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as Yahweh had commanded him.
E pôs o altar do holocausto à porta do tabernáculo da tenda da congregação, e ofereceu sobre ele holocausto e oferta de manjares, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
30 He placed the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and he put water in it for washing.
Pôs também a pia entre a tenda da congregação e o altar, e derramou água nela, para lavar.
31 Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet from the basin
E Moisés, e Aarão e seus filhos lavaram nela as suas mãos e os seus pés.
32 whenever they would go into the tent of meeting and whenever they would go up to the altar. They washed themselves, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
Quando entravam na tenda da congregação, e quando chegavam ao altar, lavavam-se, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
33 Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar. He set up the curtain at the courtyard entrance. In this way, Moses finished the work.
Levantou também o pátio ao redor do tabernáculo e do altar, e pendurou a coberta da porta do pátio. Assim Moisés acabou a obra.
34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and Yahweh's glory filled the tabernacle.
Então a nuvem cobriu a tenda da congregação, e a glória do Senhor encheu o tabernáculo;
35 Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and because Yahweh's glory filled the tabernacle.
De maneira que Moisés não podia entrar na tenda da congregação, porquanto a nuvem ficava sobre ele, e a glória do Senhor enchia o tabernáculo.
36 Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out on their journey.
Quando pois a nuvem se levantava de sobre o tabernáculo, então os filhos de Israel caminhavam em todas as suas jornadas.
37 But if the cloud did not rise up from the tabernacle, then the people would not travel. They would stay until the day that it was lifted up.
Se a nuvem porém não se levantava, não caminhavam, até ao dia em que ela se levantava;
38 For Yahweh's cloud was over the tabernacle by day, and his fire was over it by night, in plain view of all the people of Israel throughout their journey.
Porquanto a nuvem do Senhor estava de dia sobre o tabernáculo, e o fogo estava de noite sobre ele, perante os olhos de toda a casa de Israel, em todas as suas jornadas.
