< Exodus 39 >

1 With the blue, purple, and scarlet wool, they made finely-woven garments for service in the holy place. They made Aaron's garments for the holy place, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

Awo ne bakola ekkanzu ey’obwakabona eyitibwa efodi mu wuzi eza zaabu, ne bbululu, ne kakobe ne myufu, ne linena omulebevu omulange.
3 They hammered gold sheets and cut them into wires, to work them into the blue, purple, and scarlet wool, and into the fine linen, the work of a skillful workman.
Ne baweesa zaabu ey’oluwewere, ne bagisala obulere ne babukozesa awamu n’ewuzi eza bbululu, ne kakobe, ne myufu ne linena omulebevu omulungi omulange, nga bikoleddwa mu majjolobera agakoleddwa n’obukugu.
4 They made shoulder pieces for the ephod, attached at its two upper corners.
Ekkanzu ey’obwakabona eyitibwa efodi ne bagikolera eby’okubibegabega bibiri nga bitungiddwa w’ekoma, n’egattibwa bulungi.
5 Its finely-woven waistband was like the ephod; it was made of one piece with the ephod, made of fine twined linen that was gold, blue, purple, and scarlet, just as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
6 They crafted the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, set with engravings as on a signet, and engraved with the names of Israel's twelve sons.
Ne baddira amayinja ga onuku ne bagakwasiza mu mapeesa aga zaabu, ng’amayinja gawandiikiddwako, ng’empeta bw’ewandiikwako, amannya g’abaana ba Isirayiri.
7 Bezalel put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as stones to remind Yahweh of Israel's twelve sons, as Yahweh had commanded Moses.

9 It was square. They folded the breastpiece double. It was one span long and one span wide.
Kyali kyenkanankana, buli ludda sentimita amakumi abiri mu bbiri ne desimoolo ttaano nga kimaze okuwetebwamu wakati.
10 They set in it four rows of precious stones. The first row had a ruby, a topaz, and a garnet.

14 The stones were arranged by the names of Israel's twelve sons, each in order by name. They were like the engraving on a signet ring, each name standing for one of the twelve tribes.
Waaliwo amayinja ag’omuwendo kkumi n’abiri, nga ku buli limu kusaliddwako erimu ku mannya g’abaana ba Isirayiri. Gaasalibwa bulungi ng’obubonero obuwoolebwa nga ku buli limu kuliko erinnya lyako okumalirayo ddala amannya g’ebika ekkumi n’ebibiri.
15 On the breastpiece they made chains like cords, braided work of pure gold.

21 They tied the breastpiece by its rings to the ephod's rings with a blue cord, so that it might be attached just above the ephod's finely-woven waistband. This was so that the breastpiece might not become unattached from the ephod. This was done as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
