Exodus 28
1 Call to yourself Aaron your brother and his sons—Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar—from among the Israelites so that they may serve me as priests.
Depois tu farás chegar a ti teu irmão Aarão, e seus filhos com ele, do meio dos filhos de Israel, para me administrarem o ofício sacerdotal: a saber, Aarão, Nadab e Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar, os filhos de Aarão.
2 You must make for Aaron, your brother, garments that are set apart to me. These garments will be for his honor and splendor.
E farás vestidos santos a Aarão teu irmão, para glória e ornamento.
3 You must speak to all people who are wise in heart, those whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, so that they may make Aaron's garments to set him apart to serve me as my priest.
Falarás também a todos os que são sábios de coração, a quem eu tenho enchido do espírito da sabedoria, que façam vestidos a Aarão para santifica-lo; para que me administre o ofício sacerdotal.
4 The garments that they must make are a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a coat of woven work, a turban, and a sash. They must make these garments that are set them apart to me. They will be for your brother Aaron and his sons so that they may serve me as priests.
Estes pois são os vestidos que farão: um peitoral, e um éfode, e um manto, e uma túnica bordada, uma mitra, e um cinto: farão pois santos vestidos a Aarão teu irmão, e a seus filhos, para me administrarem o ofício sacerdotal.
5 Craftsmen must use fine linen that is gold, blue, purple, and scarlet.
E tomarão o ouro, e o azul, e a púrpura, e o carmezim, e o linho fino,
6 They must make the ephod of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet wool, and of fine-twined linen. It must be the work of a skillful craftsman.
E farão o éfode de ouro, e de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmezim, e de linho fino torcido, de obra esmerada.
7 It must have two shoulder pieces attached to its two upper corners.
Terá duas hombreiras, que se unam às suas duas pontas, e assim se unirá.
8 Its finely-woven waistband must be like the ephod; it must be made of one piece with the ephod, made of fine twined linen that is gold, blue, purple, and scarlet.
E o cinto de obra esmerada do seu éfode, que estará sobre ele, será da sua mesma obra, do mesmo, de ouro, de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmezim, e de linho fino torcido.
9 You must take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of Israel's twelve sons.
E tomarás duas pedras sardônicas, e lavrarás nelas os nomes dos filhos de Israel,
10 Six of their names must be on one stone, and six names must be on the other stone, in order of the sons' birth.
Seis dos seus nomes numa pedra, e os outros seis nomes na outra pedra, segundo as suas gerações;
11 With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engraving on a signet, you must engrave the two stones with the names of Israel's twelve sons. You must mount the stones in settings of gold.
Conforme à obra do lapidário, como o lavor de sêlos lavrarás estas duas pedras, com os nomes dos filhos de Israel: engastadas ao redor em ouro as farás.
12 You must put the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, to be stones to remind Yahweh of Israel's sons. Aaron will carry their names before Yahweh on his two shoulders as a reminder to him.
E porás as duas pedras nas hombreiras do éfode, por pedras de memória para os filhos de Israel: e Aarão levará os seus nomes sobre ambos os seus ombros, para memória diante do Senhor.
13 You must make settings of gold
Farás também engastes de ouro,
14 and two braided chains of pure gold like cords, and you must attach the chains to the settings.
E duas cadeiazinhas de ouro puro: de igual medida, de obra de fieira as farás: e as cadeiazinhas de fieira porás nos engastes.
15 You must make a breastpiece for decision making, the work of a skillful workman, fashioned like the ephod. Make it of gold, of blue, purple, and scarlet wool, and of fine linen.
Farás também o peitoral do juízo de obra esmerada, conforme à obra do éfode o farás: de ouro, de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmezim, e de linho fino torcido o farás.
16 It is to be square. You must fold the breastpiece double. It must be one span long and one span wide.
Quadrado e dobrado, será de um palmo o seu comprimento, e de um palmo a sua largura;
17 You must place in it four rows of precious stones. The first row must have a ruby, a topaz, and a garnet.
E o encherás de pedras de engaste, com quatro ordens de pedras: a ordem de uma sárdia, de um topázio, e de um carbúnculo: esta será a primeira ordem:
18 The second row must have an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
E a segunda ordem será de uma esmeralda, de uma safira, e de um diamante:
19 The third row must have a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst.
E a terceira ordem será de um jacinto, de uma ágata, e de uma ametista:
20 The fourth row must have a beryl, and an onyx, and a jasper. They must be mounted in gold settings.
E a quarta ordem será de uma turqueza, e de uma sardônica, e de um jaspe; engastadas em ouro serão nos seus engastes.
21 The stones must be arranged by the names of Israel's twelve sons, each in order by name. They must be like the engraving on a signet ring, each name standing for one of the twelve tribes.
E serão aquelas pedras segundo os nomes dos filhos de Israel, doze segundo os seus nomes: serão esculpidas como sêlos, cada uma com o seu nome, para as doze tribos.
22 You must make on the breastpiece chains like cords, braided work of pure gold.
Também farás ao peitoral cadeiazinhas de igual medida da obra de trança de ouro puro.
23 You must make two rings of gold for the breastpiece and must attach them to the two ends of the breastpiece.
Também farás ao peitoral dois anéis de ouro, e porás os dois anéis nas extremidades do peitoral.
24 You must attach the two golden chains to the two corners of the breastpiece.
Então meterás as duas cadeiazinhas de fieira de ouro nos dois anéis, nas extremidades do peitoral:
25 You must attach the other ends of the two braided chains to the two settings. Then you must attach those to the shoulder pieces of the ephod at its front.
E as duas pontas das duas cadeiazinhas de fieira meterás nos dois engastes, e as porás nas hombreiras do éfode, defronte dele.
26 You must make two rings of gold, and you must put them on the other two corners of the breastpiece, on the edge next to the inner border.
Farás também dois anéis de ouro, e os porás nas duas extremidades do peitoral, na sua borda que estiver junto ao éfode por dentro.
27 You must make two more gold rings, and you must attach them to the bottom of the two shoulder pieces of the front of the ephod, close to its seam above the finely-woven waistband of the ephod.
Farás também dois anéis de ouro, que porás nas duas hombreiras do éfode, abaixo, defronte dele, defronte da sua juntura, sobre o cinto da obra esmerada do éfode.
28 They must tie the breastpiece by its rings to the ephod's rings with a blue cord, so that it might be attached just above the ephod's woven waistband. This is so that the breastpiece might not become unattached from the ephod.
E ligarão o peitoral com os seus anéis aos anéis do éfode por cima com um cordão de azul, para que esteja sobre o cinto da obra esmerada do éfode; e nunca se separará o peitoral do éfode.
29 When Aaron goes into the holy place, he must carry the names of the people of Israel over his heart in the breastpiece for decision making, as a continuing memorial before Yahweh.
Assim Aarão levará os nomes dos filhos de Israel no peitoral do juízo sobre o seu coração, quando entrar no santuário, para memória diante do Senhor continuamente.
30 You are to put the Urim and the Thummim in the breastpiece for decision making, so they may be over Aaron's heart when he goes in before Yahweh. Thus Aaron will always carry the means for making decisions for the people of Israel over his heart before Yahweh.
Também porás no peitoral do juízo Urim e Tumim, para que estejam sobre o coração de Aarão, quando entrar diante do Senhor: assim Aarão levará o juízo dos filhos de Israel sobre o seu coração diante do Senhor continuamente.
31 You will make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue fabric.
Também farás o manto do Éfode, todo azul.
32 It must have an opening for the head in the middle. The opening must have a woven edge round about so that it does not tear. This must be the work of a weaver.
E o colar da cabeça estará no meio dele: este colar terá uma borda da obra tecida ao redor: como colar de saia de malha será nele, para que se não rompa.
33 On the bottom hem, you must make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet yarn all around. Gold bells must be between them all around.
E nas suas bordas farás romãs de azul, e de púrpura, e de carmezim, ao redor das suas bordas; e campainhas de ouro no meio delas ao redor.
34 There must be a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate—and so on—all around the hem of the robe.
Uma campainha de ouro, e uma romã, outra campainha de ouro, e outra romã, haverá nas bordas do manto ao redor,
35 The robe is to be on Aaron when he serves, so that its sound can be heard when he goes into the holy place before Yahweh and when he leaves. This is so that he does not die.
E estará sobre Aarão quando ministrar, para que se ouça o seu sonido, quando entrar no santuário diante do Senhor, e quando sair, para que não morra.
36 You must make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving on a signet, “Holy to Yahweh.”
Também farás uma lâmina de ouro puro, e nela gravarás à maneira de gravuras de selos: santidade ao Senhor.
37 You must attach this plate by a blue cord to the front of the turban.
E ata-la-ás com um cordão de azul, de maneira que esteja na mitra; sobre a frente da mitra estará.
38 It must be on Aaron's forehead; he must always bear any guilt that might attach to the offering of the holy gifts that the Israelites set apart to Yahweh. The turban must be always on his forehead so that Yahweh may accept their gifts.
E estará sobre a testa de Aarão, para que Aarão leve a iniquidade das coisas santas, que os filhos de Israel santificarem em todas as ofertas de suas coisas santas; e estará continuamente na sua testa, para que tenham aceitação perante o Senhor.
39 You must make the coat with fine linen, and you must make a turban of fine linen. You must also make a sash, the work of an embroiderer.
Também farás túnica de linho fino: também farás uma mitra de linho fino: mas o cinto farás da obra de bordador.
40 For Aaron's sons you must make coats, sashes, and headbands for their honor and splendor.
Também farás túnicas aos filhos de Aarão, e far-lhes-ás cintos: também lhes farás tiaras, para glória e ornamento.
41 You must clothe Aaron your brother, and his sons with him. You must anoint them, ordain them, and set them apart to me, so that they may serve me as priests.
E vestirás com eles a Aarão teu irmão, e também seus filhos: e os ungirás e consagrarás, e os santificarás, para que me administrem o sacerdócio.
42 You must make for them linen undergarments to cover their naked flesh, that will cover them from the waist to the thighs.
Faze-lhes também calções de linho, para cobrirem a carne nua: serão dos lombos até às pernas.
43 Aaron and his sons must wear these garments when they enter the tent of meeting or when they approach the altar to serve in the holy place. They must do this so they would not be guilty or else they would die. This is a permanent law for Aaron and his descendants after him.
E estarão sobre Aarão e sobre seus filhos, quando entrarem na tenda da congregação, ou quando chegarem ao altar para ministrar no santuário, para que não levem iniquidade, e morram; isto será estatuto perpétuo para ele e para a sua semente depois dele.
