< Ephesians 1 >

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to God's holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful in Christ Jesus.

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be praised, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Míetsɔ kafukafu na Mawu, míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo Fofo, ame si tsɔ gbɔgbɔmeyayra ɖe sia ɖe si le dziƒonutowo me la kɔ ɖe mía dzi le Kristo me.
4 God chose us in him from the beginning of the world, that we may be holy and blameless in his sight in love.
Etia mí le eya amea me hafi wɔ xexea me be míanye ame kɔkɔewo kple ame siwo ŋu fɔɖiɖi mele o la le eƒe ŋkume.
5 God chose us beforehand for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will.
Le lɔlɔ̃ me la, ewɔ ɖoɖo tɔxɛ ɖe mía ŋu be míanye ye viwo to Yesu Kristo dzi. Mawu wɔ esia, esi wòɖo Yesu Kristo ɖa be wòaku ɖe mía ta. Ewɔ ɖoɖo sia to eya ŋutɔ ƒe dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ kple lɔlɔ̃nu me!
6 Our adoption results in the praise of his glorious grace that he has freely given us in the One he loves.
Azɔ la, mitsɔ kafukafu na Mawu ɖe eƒe dɔmenyo gã sia ta. Mikafui ɖe eƒe amenuveve sɔgbɔ si wòkɔ ɖe mía dzi la ta, ɖe esi míenye Via lɔlɔ̃a tɔ ta.
7 In Jesus Christ we have redemption through his blood and the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
Eƒe dɔmenyo la gbã go ɖe mía dzi ale gbegbe be wòɖe míaƒe nu vɔ̃wo katã ɖa to Via ƒe ʋu la me, ame si dzi wòto ɖe mí,
8 He lavished this grace upon us with all wisdom and understanding.

9 God made known to us the hidden purpose of his will, according to what pleased him, and which he demonstrated in Christ,

10 with a view to a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things together, all things in heaven and on earth, under one head, even Christ.
Eƒe taɖodzinue nye be ne ɣeyiɣi si wòɖo la de la, aƒo nuwo katã nu ƒu tso afi sia afi, eɖanye dziƒo alo anyigba dzi o, ɖe Kristo te, tso mavɔ me yi mavɔ me.
11 In Christ we were appointed as heirs. We were decided on beforehand according to the plan of him who works out everything according to the purpose of his will.

12 God appointed us as heirs so that we might be the first to have a certain hope in Christ, so we would be for the praise of his glory.
Mawu ƒe ɖoɖo le nu sia mee nye be mí ame siwo nye ame gbãtɔ siwo dze si Kristo la, míakafui, atsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe nɛ ɖe dɔ gã siwo katã wòwɔ na mí la ta.
13 In Christ, you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, you believed in him and were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
Eye ɖe dɔ si Kristo wɔ ta la, mi ame siwo se nyateƒe la ƒe nya la, eye miexɔ Kristo dzi se la, Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe si ŋugbe wòdo na mí kristotɔwo la de dzesi mi be mienye kristotɔwo.
14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we take full possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
Eƒe mía me nɔnɔ nye kpeɖodzi tso Mawu gbɔ be awɔ nu sia nu si ŋugbe wòdo na mí la godoo. Gbɔgbɔ la ƒe mía me nɔnɔ fia be Mawu ƒle mí xoxo, eye wòɖo kpe edzi be yeakplɔ mí ava eɖokui gbɔe hena eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe kafukafu.
15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God's holy people,

16 I have not stopped thanking God for you as I mention you in my prayers.

17 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
Mebiaa míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe Mawu si nye ŋutikɔkɔe Fofo la be wòana Gbɔgbɔ la ƒe nunya kple ɖeɖefia mi be miaganyae ɖe edzi wu.
18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, that you may know the hope to which he has called you and the riches of his glorious inheritance among all God's holy people.
Medoa gbe ɖa be miaƒe gbɔgbɔmeŋkuwo naʋu, eye dzi nyanu nanɔ mia si be míade dzesi mɔkpɔkpɔ si wòyɔ mí na, eƒe kesinɔnu, ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe domenyinyi si wòna ame kɔkɔewo,
19 In my prayers I ask that you may know the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great strength.

20 This is the same power that God worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places.

21 He seated Christ far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named. Christ will rule, not only in this age, but also in the age to come. (aiōn g165)

22 God put all things under Christ's feet and gave him to the church as head over all things.
Mawu tsɔ nuwo katã de eƒe afɔ te, eye wòwɔe hame la ƒe tatɔ gãtɔe.
23 The church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
Hame sia nye eya ŋutɔ ƒe ŋutilã. Eyɔ hame la fũu, eye eƒe nɔnɔme le nu sia nu me.
