Deuteronomy 34
1 Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. There Yahweh showed him all the land of Gilead as far as Dan,
૧મૂસા મોઆબના મેદાનમાંથી યરીખોની સામે આવેલા નબો પર્વત પર, પિસ્ગાહના શિખર પર ચઢયો. યહોવાહે તેને દાન સુધીનો આખો ગિલ્યાદ દેશ,
2 and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the western sea,
૨આખો નફતાલીનો પ્રદેશ, એફ્રાઇમ તથા મનાશ્શાનો પ્રદેશ, પશ્ચિમ સમુદ્ર સુધીનો યહૂદાનો આખો પ્રદેશ,
3 and the Negev, and the plain of the Valley of Jericho, the City of Palms, as far as Zoar.
૩નેગેબનો પ્રદેશ અને ખજૂરીઓના નગર યરીખોથી સોઆર સુધીનો સપાટ પ્રદેશ બતાવ્યો.
4 Yahweh said to him, “This is the land that I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your descendants.' I have allowed you to look at it with your eyes, but you will not go over there.”
૪યહોવાહે તેને કહ્યું, “જે દેશ વિષે મેં ઇબ્રાહિમ, ઇસહાક અને યાકૂબને સમ ખાઈને કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘હું તારા વંશજોને આપીશ તે આ છે.’ મેં તે દેશ તને તારી આંખે જોવા દીધો છે, પણ તું તેમાં પ્રવેશ કરવા નહિ પામે.”
5 So Moses the servant of Yahweh, died there in the land of Moab, as the word of Yahweh promised.
૫આમ, યહોવાહનો સેવક મૂસા યહોવાહના વચન પ્રમાણે મોઆબની ભૂમિમાં મરણ પામ્યો.
6 Yahweh buried him in the valley in the land of Moab opposite Beth Peor, but no one knows where his grave is to this day.
૬યહોવાહે તેને મોઆબના દેશમાં બેથ-પેઓરની સામેની ખીણમાં દફનાવ્યો, પરંતુ આજ સુધી કોઈ તેની કબર વિષે જાણતું નથી.
7 Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
૭મૂસા મરણ પામ્યો ત્યારે તે એક સો વીસ વર્ષનો હતો. તેના શરીરનું બળ ઓછું થયું નહોતું કે તેની આંખો ઝાંખી થઈ નહોતી.
8 The people of Israel mourned for Moses in the plains of Moab for thirty days, and then the days of mourning for Moses were finished.
૮મોઆબના મેદાનમાં ઇઝરાયલીઓએ ત્રીસ દિવસ સુધી મૂસાના માટે શોક પાળ્યો, ત્યાર બાદ મૂસા માટેના શોકના દિવસો પૂરા થયા.
9 Joshua son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him. The people of Israel listened to him and did what Yahweh had commanded Moses.
૯નૂનનો દીકરો યહોશુઆ ડહાપણના આત્માથી ભરપૂર હતો, કેમ કે મૂસાએ તેના પર પોતાના હાથ મૂક્યા હતા. તેથી ઇઝરાયલી લોકોએ તેનું સાંભળ્યું અને યહોવાહે મૂસાને આજ્ઞા આપી હતી તેમ તેઓએ કર્યું.
10 There has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face.
૧૦ઇઝરાયલમાં મૂસા જેવો કોઈ બીજો પ્રબોધક ઊઠયો નથી, તેની સાથે ઈશ્વર જેને યહોવાહ મુખોપમુખ વાત કરતા હતા.
11 There has never been any prophet like him in all the signs and wonders that Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land.
૧૧મિસર દેશમાં ફારુન પર તથા તેના ચાકરો પર તથા તેના આખા દેશ પર યહોવાહે તેને જે બધા ચમત્કારો તથા ચિહ્નો કરવા મોકલ્યો તેના જેવો બીજા કોઈ પ્રબોધક નથી.
12 There has never been any prophet like him in all the great, fearsome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
૧૨આખી ઇઝરાયલી પ્રજાના દેખતાં મૂસાએ જે મહાન અને આશ્ચર્યજનક કૃત્યો કર્યા, તેવાં કૃત્યો બીજો કોઈ પ્રબોધક કરી શકયો નથી.
