6 Be strong and of good courage, fear not, and do not be afraid of them; for Yahweh your God, he it is who goes with you; he will not fail you nor forsake you.”
Jẹ́ alágbára kí o sì ní ìgboyà. Má ṣe bẹ̀rù tàbí jáyà nítorí i wọn, nítorí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ ń lọ pẹ̀lú rẹ, Òun kò ní fi ọ́ sílẹ̀ tàbí kọ̀ ọ́ sílẹ̀.”
7 Moses called to Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you will go with this people into the land that Yahweh has sworn to their ancestors to give them; you will cause them to inherit it.
Nígbà náà ni Mose pe Joṣua ó sì wí fún un níwájú gbogbo Israẹli pé, “Jẹ́ alágbára àti onígboyà, nítorí o ní láti lọ pẹ̀lú àwọn ènìyàn wọ̀nyí sí ilẹ̀ tí Olúwa búra fún àwọn baba ńlá a wọn láti fún wọn, kí o sì pín ilẹ̀ náà láàrín wọn bí ogún wọn.

9 Moses wrote this law and gave it out to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of Yahweh; he also gave copies of it to all the elders of Israel.
Nígbà náà ni Mose kọ òfin yìí kalẹ̀ ó sì fi fún àwọn àlùfáà, àwọn ọmọ Lefi, tí ń gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa, àti fún gbogbo àwọn àgbàgbà ní Israẹli.
10 Moses commanded them and said, “At the end of every seven years, at the time fixed for the cancellation of debts, during the Festival of Shelters,
Nígbà náà ni Mose pàṣẹ fún wọn, “Ní òpin ọdún méje méje, ní àkókò ọdún ìdásílẹ̀, nígbà àjọ àwọn àgọ́.
11 when all Israel has come to appear before Yahweh your God in the place that he will choose for his sanctuary, you will read this law before all Israel in their hearing.
Nígbà tí gbogbo Israẹli bá wá láti fi ara hàn níwájú Olúwa Ọlọ́run wa ní ibi tí yóò yàn, ìwọ yóò ka òfin yìí níwájú wọn sí etí ìgbọ́ wọn.
12 Assemble the people, the men, the women, and the little ones, and your foreigner who is within your city gates, so that they may hear and learn, and so that they may honor Yahweh your God and keep all the words of this law.
Pe àwọn ènìyàn jọ àwọn ọkùnrin, àwọn obìnrin àti àwọn àjèjì tí ń gbé àwọn ìlú u yín kí wọn lè fetí sí i kí wọn sì lè kọ́ láti bẹ̀rù Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ kí wọn sì rọra tẹ̀lé gbogbo ọ̀rọ̀ òfin yìí.
13 Do this so that their children, who have not known, may hear and learn to honor Yahweh your God, as long as you live in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”
Àwọn ọmọ wọn tí wọn kò mọ òfin yìí, gbọdọ̀ gbọ́ kí wọn sì kọ́ láti bẹ̀rù Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ níwọ̀n ìgbà tí o tí ń gbé ní ilẹ̀ tí ò ń kọjá la Jordani lọ láti ni.”
14 Yahweh said to Moses, “Look, the day is coming when you must die; call Joshua and present yourselves in the tent of meeting, so that I may give him a command.” Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves in the tent of meeting.
Olúwa sọ fún Mose pé, “Ọjọ́ ikú rẹ ti súnmọ́ etílé báyìí. Pe Joṣua kí ẹ sì fi ara yín hàn nínú àgọ́ àjọ, níbi tí èmi yóò ti fi àṣẹ fún un.” Nígbà náà ni Mose àti Joṣua wá, wọ́n sì fi ara wọn hàn níbi àgọ́ àjọ.
15 Yahweh appeared in the tent in a pillar of cloud; the pillar of cloud stood over the door of the tent.
Nígbà náà ni Olúwa farahàn níbi àgọ́ ní ọ̀wọ́ àwọsánmọ̀, àwọsánmọ̀ náà sì dúró sókè ẹnu-ọ̀nà àgọ́.
16 Yahweh said to Moses, “Look, you will sleep with your fathers; this people will rise up and act like a prostitute going after the strange gods that are among them in the land where they are going. They will forsake me and break my covenant that I have made with them.
Olúwa sì sọ fún Mose pé, “Ìwọ ń lọ sinmi pẹ̀lú àwọn baba à rẹ, àwọn wọ̀nyí yóò sì ṣe àgbèrè ara wọn sí ọlọ́run àjèjì ilẹ̀ tí wọn ń wọ̀ lọ láìpẹ́. Wọn yóò kọ̀ mí sílẹ̀ wọn yóò sì da májẹ̀mú tí mo bá wọn dá.
17 Then, on that day, my anger will be kindled against them and I will abandon them. I will hide my face from them and they will be devoured. Many disasters and troubles will find them so that they will say on that day, 'Have these disasters not come upon us because our God is not in our midst?'
Ní ọjọ́ náà ni èmi yóò bínú sí wọn èmi yóò sì kọ̀ wọ́n sílẹ̀; èmi yóò pa ojú mi mọ́ kúrò fún wọn, wọn yóò sì parun. Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àjálù àti ìṣòro yóò wá sórí wọn, àti ní ọjọ́ náà ni wọn yóò béèrè pé, ‘Ǹjẹ́ ìpọ́njú wọ̀nyí kò wá sórí i wa nítorí Ọlọ́run wa kò sí pẹ̀lú u wa?’
18 I will surely hide my face from them on that day because of all the evil that they will have done, because they has turned to other gods.
Èmi yóò sì pa ojú mi mọ́ dájúdájú ní ọjọ́ náà nítorí i gbogbo ìwà búburú wọn ní yíyípadà sí ọlọ́run mìíràn.
19 Now therefore write this song for yourselves and teach it to the people of Israel. Put it in their mouths, so that this song may be a witness for me against the people of Israel.
“Ní báyìí kọ ọ́ kalẹ̀ fúnra à rẹ orin yìí kí o sì kọ ọ́ sí Israẹli kí o sì jẹ́ kí wọn kọ ọ́ kí ó lè jẹ́ ẹ̀rí ì mi sí wọn.
20 For when I will have brought them into the land that I swore to give to their ancestors, a land flowing with milk and honey, and when they have eaten and become satisfied and fat, then they will turn to other gods and they will serve them and they will despise me and they will break my covenant.
Nígbà tí mo ti mú wọn wá sí ilẹ̀ tí ń sàn fún wàrà àti fún oyin, ilẹ̀ tí mo ti ṣe ìlérí ní ìbúra fún àwọn baba ńlá wọn, àti nígbà tí wọ́n bá jẹ, tí ó sì tẹ́ wọn lọ́rùn, tí wọ́n sì gbilẹ̀, wọn yóò yí padà sí ọlọ́run mìíràn wọn yóò sì sìn wọ́n, wọn yóò kọ̀ mí sílẹ̀, wọn yóò sì da májẹ̀mú mi.
21 When many evils and troubles come upon this people, this song will testify before them as a witness (for it will not be forgotten from the mouths of their descendants). For I know the plans that they are forming today, even before I have brought them into the land that I promised them.”
Àti nígbà tí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ìpọ́njú àti ìṣòro bá wá sórí i wọn, orin yìí yóò jẹ́ ẹ̀rí sí wọn, nítorí kò ní di ìgbàgbé fún àwọn ọmọ wọn. Mo mọ̀ ohun tí wọ́n ní inú dídùn sí láti ṣe, pàápàá kí èmi tó mú wọn wá sí ilẹ̀ tí mo ṣe ìlérí fún wọn lórí ìbúra.”
22 So Moses wrote this song the same day and taught it to the people of Israel.
Nígbà náà ni Mose kọ orin yìí kalẹ̀ ní ọjọ́ náà ó sì kọ ọ́ sí Israẹli.
23 Yahweh gave Joshua son of Nun a command and said, “Be strong and of good courage; for you will bring the people of Israel into the land that I swore to them, and I will be with you.”
Olúwa sì fún Joṣua ọmọ Nuni ní àṣẹ yìí: “Jẹ́ alágbára àti onígboyà, nítorí ìwọ yóò mú Israẹli wá sí ilẹ̀ tí mo ṣèlérí fún wọn lórí ìbúra, èmi fúnra à mi yóò sì wà pẹ̀lú rẹ.”
24 It happened that when Moses had finished writing the words of this law in a book,
Lẹ́yìn ìgbà tí Mose ti parí i kíkọ ọ̀rọ̀ òfin yìí sínú ìwé láti ìbẹ̀rẹ̀ dé òpin,
25 that he commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, and he said,
ó sì fi àṣẹ yìí fún àwọn ọmọ Lefi tí wọ́n ń gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa:
26 “Take this book of the law and put it by the side of the ark of the covenant of Yahweh your God, so that it may be there as a witness against you.
“Gba ìwé òfin yìí kí o sì fi sí ẹ̀gbẹ́ àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa Ọlọ́run rẹ. Níbẹ̀ ni yóò wà bí ẹ̀rí sí ọ.
27 For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck; look, while I am still alive with you even today, you have been rebellious against Yahweh; how much more after my death?
Nítorí mo mọ irú ọlọ̀tẹ̀ àti ọlọ́rùn líle tí ẹ jẹ́. Bí o bá ṣe ọlọ̀tẹ̀ sí Olúwa nígbà tí mo pàpà wà láyé pẹ̀lú yín, báwo ní ẹ ó ti ṣe ọlọ̀tẹ̀ tó nígbà tí mo bá kú tán!
28 Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, so that I may speak these words in their ears and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
Ẹ péjọpọ̀ síwájú mi gbogbo àgbà ẹ̀yà yín àti àwọn aláṣẹ yín, kí èmi lè sọ àwọn ọ̀rọ̀ wọ̀nyí sí etí ìgbọ́ ọ́ wọn.
29 For I know that after my death you will utterly corrupt yourselves and turn aside out of the path that I have commanded you; disaster will come on you in the following days. This will happen because you will do what is evil in the sight of Yahweh, so as to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.”
Nítorí tí mo mọ̀ pé lẹ́yìn ikú mi, ó dájú pé ìwọ yóò padà di ìbàjẹ́ pátápátá, ẹ ó sì yípadà kúrò ní ọ̀nà tí mo ti pàṣẹ fún un yín. Ní ọjọ́ tó ń bọ̀, ìpọ́njú yóò sọ̀kalẹ̀ sórí i yín nítorí ẹ̀yin yóò ṣe búburú níwájú Olúwa ẹ ó sì mú u bínú nípa ohun tí ọwọ́ yín ti ṣe.”
30 Moses recited in the ears of all the assembly of Israel the words of this song until they were finished.
