< Deuteronomy 25 >
1 If there is a dispute between men and they go to court, and the judges judge them, then they will acquit the righteous and condemn the wicked.
Soki bato bazali kowelana, bakomema likambo na bango na esambiselo, mpe basambisi bakokata likambo yango: bakolongisa moto oyo ayebi likambo te mpe bakokweyisa moto oyo asali mabe.
2 If the guilty man deserves to be beaten, then the judge will make him lie down and be beaten in his presence with the ordered number of blows, as was his crime.
Bongo soki esengi ete babeta moto oyo asali mabe fimbu, basambisi bakolalisa ye na mabele mpe bakobetisa ye fimbu na miso na bango; bakobetisa ye motango ya bafimbu oyo ekoki na mabe oyo asali.
3 The judge may give him forty blows, but he may not exceed that number; for if he should exceed that number and beat him with many more blows, then your fellow Israelite would be humiliated before your eyes.
Kasi bakoki te kobeta ye bafimbu koleka tuku minei. Soki babeti ye fimbu koleka tuku minei, ndeko na bino akosambwa na miso na bino.
4 You must not muzzle the ox when he treads out the grain.
Osengeli te kokanga monoko ya ngombe oyo ezali konika bambuma.
5 If brothers live together and one of them dies, not having any son, then the wife of the dead man must not be married off to someone else outside the family. Instead, her husband's brother must sleep with her and take her to himself as a wife, and do the duty of a husband's brother to her.
Soki bandeko mibali bazali kovanda elongo, mpe moko kati na bango akufi kasi atiki mwana te, mwasi oyo akufisi mobali akoki te kobala na libota mosusu; semeki na ye asengeli kozwa ye na libala mpo na kokokisa epai na ye mokumba ya kisemeki.
6 This is so that the firstborn that she bears will succeed in the name of that man's dead brother, so that his name will not perish from Israel.
Mwana mobali ya liboso oyo mwasi yango akobota akozwa kombo ya ndeko mobali oyo akufa mpo ete kombo na ye ebunga te kati na Isalaele.
7 But if the man does not wish to take his brother's wife for himself, then his brother's wife must go up to the gate to the elders and say, 'My husband's brother refuses to raise up for his brother a name in Israel; he will not perform the duty of a husband's brother to me.'
Soki mobali yango aboyi kobala semeki na ye ya mwasi, semeki yango ya mwasi akokende epai ya bampaka, na ekuke ya engumba, mpe akoloba na bango: « Semeki na ngai aboyi kobatela kombo ya ndeko na ye kati na Isalaele, aboyi kokokisa mokumba na ye ya kisemeki epai na ngai. »
8 Then the elders of his city must call him and speak to him. But suppose that he insists and says, 'I do not wish to take her.'
Boye, bampaka ya engumba wana bakobengisa mobali yango mpe bakoloba na ye. Soki akobi kaka koboya kobala semeki na ye,
9 Then his brother's wife must come up to him in the presence of the elders, take off his sandal from his foot, and spit in his face. She must answer him and say, 'This is what is done to the man who does not build up his brother's house.'
semeki yango akopusana pembeni na ye na miso ya bampaka, akolongola ye lokolo moko ya sandale, akobwakela ye soyi na elongi, mpe akoloba na ye: « Tala ndenge basengeli kosala moto oyo aboyi kotonga ndako ya ndeko na ye ya mobali. »
10 His name will be called in Israel, 'The house of him whose sandal has been taken off.'
Boye, kati na Isalaele, bakobanda kobenga bakitani ya moto wana « bana ya moto oyo balongola sandale. »
11 If men fight with each other, and the wife of one comes to rescue her husband out of the hand of him who struck him, and if she stretches out her hand and takes him by the private parts,
Soki mibali bazali kobunda, bongo mwasi moko apusani mpo na kokangola mobali na ye na loboko ya moto oyo azali kobeta ye, mpe soki mwasi yango asemboli loboko na ye mpe akangi nzoto ya mibali ya moto oyo azali kobeta mobali na ye,
12 then you must cut off her hand; your eye must have no pity.
bokokata loboko na ye. Bokoyokela ye mawa te.
13 You must not have in your bag different weights, a large and a small.
Okoki te kozala na bimekelo mibale ya kilo ekesana kati na saki na yo: moko eleki kilo mpe mosusu eleki pepele.
14 You must not have in your house different measures, a large and a small.
Okoki te kozala na ndako na yo na bikolo mibale ekesana mpo na kotanga na yango biloko: moko ya monene mpe mosusu ya moke.
15 A perfect and just weight you must have; a perfect and just measure you must have, so that your days may be long in the land that Yahweh your God is giving you.
Osengeli kozala na bimekelo mpe bikolo ya kotangela ya malamu mpe ya sembo, mpo ete owumela mikolo ebele kati na mokili oyo Yawe, Nzambe na yo, akopesa yo.
16 For all who do such things, all that act unrighteously, are an abomination to Yahweh your God.
Pamba te Yawe, Nzambe na yo, amonaka nkele, moto nyonso oyo asalaka makambo wana, moto nyonso oyo asalaka makambo ya sembo te.
17 Call to mind what Amalek did to you on the road as you came out of Egypt,
Bobosana te makambo oyo bato ya Amaleki basalaki bino tango bobimaki na Ejipito:
18 how he met you on the road and attacked those of you at the rear, all who were feeble in your rear, when you were faint and weary; he did not honor God.
tango bolembaki nzoto mpe bosilaki makasi, babimelaki bino na pwasa na mobembo na bino mpe babomaki bato nyonso oyo bazalaki na sima; babangaki Nzambe te.
19 Therefore, when Yahweh your God has given you rest from all your enemies round about, in the land that Yahweh your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, you must not forget that you must blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
Tango Yawe, Nzambe na bino, akopesa bino bopemi liboso ya banguna nyonso oyo bazingeli bino kati na mokili oyo Yawe, Nzambe na bino, akopesa bino mpo na kozwa lokola libula, bosengeli koboma bato ya Amaleki mpo ete botikala lisusu te kokanisa bango kati na mokili. Bobosana te kosala likambo yango.
