Daniel 10
1 In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a message was revealed to Daniel, who was also called Belteshazzar. This message was true. It was about a great war. Daniel understood the message when he had insight from the vision.
ಪಾರಸಿಯ ಅರಸ ಕೋರೆಷನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂರನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರನೆಂಬ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಅದರ ಸಂದೇಶವು ಸತ್ಯವಾದದ್ದು. ಅದು ಮಹಾ ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಂದೇಶದ ಅರ್ಥವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿತು.
2 In those days I, Daniel, was in mourning for three weeks.
ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು, ಮೂರು ವಾರಗಳವರೆಗೂ ದುಃಖಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.
3 I ate no delicacies, I ate no meat, I drank no wine, and I did not anoint myself with oil until the completion of three entire weeks.
ಆ ಮೂರು ವಾರಗಳು ಕಳೆಯುವವರೆಗೂ, ನಾನು ರುಚಿಕರವಾದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
4 On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was beside the great river (that is, the Tigris),
ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಾನು ಟೈಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಾನದಿಯ ದಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವಾಗ,
5 I looked up and saw a man dressed in linen, with a belt around his waist made of pure gold from Uphaz.
ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಡಿದೆನು. ಆಗ, ನಾರುಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡೆನು. ಆತನ ನಡುವು ಊಫಜಿನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದ ಬಿಗಿದಿತ್ತು.
6 His body was like topaz, and his face was like lightning. His eyes were like flaming torches, and his arms and his feet were like polished bronze. The sound of his words was like the sound of a great crowd.
ಆತನ ದೇಹವು ಪೀತರತ್ನದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಆತನ ಮುಖವು ಮಿಂಚಿನಂತೆಯೂ ಹೊಳೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ದೀಪದಂತೆ ಇದ್ದವು. ಅವನ ತೋಳುಗಳೂ, ಕಾಲುಗಳೂ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಕಂಚಿನ ಕಾಂತಿಯಾಗಿಯೂ; ಆತನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವು, ಜನಸಮೂಹದ ಸಪ್ಪಳದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
7 I, Daniel, alone saw the vision, for the men who were with me did not see the vision. However, a great terror came on them, and they ran away to hide themselves.
ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಆ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡವಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಆ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಭಯಭ್ರಾಂತರಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರು.
8 So I was left alone and saw this great vision. No strength remained in me; my bright appearance was turned into a ruined look, and no strength remained in me.
ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಉಳಿದು, ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು. ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಾಣವು ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಯಿತು. ನನಗೆ ತ್ರಾಣವು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
9 Then I heard his words—and as I heard them, I fell on my face in deep sleep with my face to the ground.
ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಆತನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು. ಆತನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಮುಖ ಕೆಳಗೆಮಾಡಿ ಗಾಢನಿದ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೆನು. ನನ್ನ ಮುಖ ನೆಲದ ಕಡೆ ಇತ್ತು.
10 A hand touched me, and it made me tremble in my knees and the palms of my hands.
ಒಂದು ಕೈ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳೂ, ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗೈಗಳೂ ನಡುಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿತು.
11 The angel said to me, “Daniel, man greatly treasured, understand the words that I am speaking to you. Stand upright, for I have been sent to you.” When he had spoken this message to me, I stood up trembling.
ಆತನು ನನಗೆ, “ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೇ, ಅತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯನಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅವನು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ, ನಾನು ನಡುಗುತ್ತಲೇ ನಿಂತೆನು.
12 Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you set your mind to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come because of your words.
ಆಗ ಅವನು ನನಗೆ, “ದಾನಿಯೇಲನೇ, ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮುಟ್ಟಿತು. ಆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia resisted me, and I was kept there with the kings of Persia for twenty-one days. But Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me.
ಆದರೆ ಪಾರಸಿಯ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂದು ದಿನ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿ ನಿಂತನು. ಆದರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಾದ ಮೀಕಾಯೇಲನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಆ ಪಾರಸಿಯ ಅರಸನಿಂದ ತಡೆಹಿಡಿಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದೆನು.
14 Now I have come to help you understand what will happen to your people in the last days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”
ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಏನು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವುದು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನೀಗ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ದರ್ಶನವು ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲಿಕ್ಕಿರುವ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
15 While he was speaking to me using these words, I turned my face toward the ground and was unable to speak.
ಅವನು ನನಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದೆನು.
16 One who was like the sons of man touched my lips, and I opened my mouth and spoke to him who stood before me: “My master, I am in agony because of the vision; I have no strength left.
ಆಗ ಮಾನವನಂತೆ ಇರುವ ಒಬ್ಬನು ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದನು. ನಾನು ಬಾಯಿತೆರೆದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದವನಿಗೆ, “ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ, ನನ್ನ ಸಂಕಟಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ, ನಾನು ನಿತ್ರಾಣನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
17 I am your servant. How can I talk with my master? For I now have no strength, and there is no breath left in me.”
ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ದಾಸನಾದ ನನ್ನಂಥವನು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ತಮ್ಮಂಥವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡಬಹುದು? ನನ್ನ ತ್ರಾಣವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಉಸಿರಾಡಿಸಲೂ ಆಗದು.”
18 Again the one with an appearance of a man touched me and strengthened me.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಪುನಃ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಂತಿದ್ದ ಒಬ್ಬ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿ,
19 He said, “Do not be afraid, man greatly treasured. May peace be to you! Be strong now, be strong!” While he was speaking to me, I was strengthened. I said, “Let my master speak, for you have strengthened me.”
“ಅತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯನೇ, ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ, ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಲಿ, ಬಲವಾಗಿರು, ಈಗ ಬಲಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಿರು,” ಎಂದನು. ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ನಾನು ಬಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ, “ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ ಮಾತನಾಡು, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
20 He said, “Do you know why I have come to you? I will soon return to fight against the prince of Persia. When I go, the prince of Greece will come.
ಅವನು, “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದ ಕಾರಣವು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತೇ. ಈಗ ನಾನು ಪಾರಸಿಯದ ರಾಜಪುತ್ರನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಬೇಕು. ನಾನು ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಗ್ರೀಕಿನ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನು ಬರುವನು.
21 But I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. There is no one who shows himself to be strong with me against them, except Michael your prince.”
ಆದರೆ ಸತ್ಯ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಿಖಿತವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಈಗ ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ರಾಜಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಮೀಕಾಯೇಲನ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೆ ಯಾರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.”
