Colossians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছা অনুযায়ী, খ্রীষ্ট যীশুর প্রেরিতশিষ্য আমি পৌল এবং আমাদের ভাই তিমথি,
2 to the believers and faithful brothers in Christ who are at Colossae. May grace be to you, and peace from God our Father.
কলসী নগরে খ্রীষ্টে পবিত্র ও বিশ্বস্ত ভাইবোনেদের প্রতি: আমাদের পিতা ঈশ্বর থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ এবং শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক।
3 We give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and we always pray for you.
তোমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করার সময় আমরা সবসময় আমাদের প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের পিতা ঈশ্বরকে ধন্যবাদ দিই।
4 We have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all those set apart for God.
কারণ খ্রীষ্ট যীশুতে তোমাদের বিশ্বাস এবং পবিত্রগণের প্রতি তোমাদের ভালোবাসার কথা আমরা শুনেছি।
5 You have this love because of the certain hope reserved for you in heaven. You heard about this confident expectation before in the word of truth, the gospel,
যে বিশ্বাস ও প্রেম প্রত্যাশা থেকে উৎসারিত হয়, যা স্বর্গে তোমাদের জন্য সঞ্চিত রয়েছে, তা সত্যবাণীর মাধ্যমে তোমরা আগেই শুনেছ।
6 which has come to you. This gospel is bearing fruit and is growing in all the world. It has been doing this in you also from the day you heard it and learned about the grace of God in truth.
সেই সুসমাচার তোমাদের কাছে উপস্থিত হয়েছে। সুসমাচার শোনার ও ঈশ্বরের অনুগ্রহের নিগূঢ় সত্যকে উপলব্ধি করার দিন থেকে তা যেমন তোমাদের মধ্যে সক্রিয়, তেমনই সারা জগতে এই সুসমাচার ফলপ্রসূ হচ্ছে ও বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।
7 This is the gospel as you learned it from Epaphras, our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf.
একথা তোমরা আমাদের প্রিয় সহ-সেবক ইপাফ্রার কাছে শিক্ষা পেয়েছ, যিনি আমাদের পক্ষে খ্রীষ্টের একজন বিশ্বস্ত পরিচারক।
8 Epaphras has made known to us your love in the Spirit.
আত্মাতে তোমাদের ভালোবাসার কথা তিনিও আমাদের জানিয়েছেন।
9 Because of this love, from the day we heard this we have not stopped praying for you. We have been asking that you will be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
এই কারণে আমরাও, যেদিন থেকে তোমাদের কথা শুনেছি সেইদিন থেকে তোমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করা থেকে বিরত হইনি। আমরা ঈশ্বরের কাছে প্রতিনিয়ত নিবেদন করি, যেন তোমরা সমস্ত আত্মিক জ্ঞানে ও বোধশক্তিতে তাঁর ইচ্ছার তত্ত্বজ্ঞানে পূর্ণ হও।
10 We have been praying that you will walk worthily of the Lord in pleasing ways. We have been praying that you will bear fruit in every good deed and that you will grow in the knowledge of God.
আমরা এজন্য এই প্রার্থনা করছি যে, তোমরা যেন প্রভুর যোগ্যরূপে জীবনযাপন করো, জীবনের প্রতি ক্ষেত্রেই তোমাদের আচরণ দ্বারা তাঁকে সন্তুষ্ট করে তোলো, সমস্ত শুভকাজে সফল হয়ে ওঠো ও ঐশ্বরিক জ্ঞানে বৃদ্ধিলাভ করো।
11 We pray you may be strengthened in every ability according to the power of his glory into all perseverance and patience.
ঈশ্বরের গৌরবময় শক্তিতে তোমরা পরাক্রান্ত হয়ে যেন অসীম সহিষ্ণুতা ও ধৈর্যের অধিকারী হও এবং
12 We pray that you will joyfully give thanks to the Father, who has made you able to have a share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
সানন্দে পিতাকে ধন্যবাদ জ্ঞাপন করো, যিনি জ্যোতির রাজ্যে পবিত্রগণের যে অধিকার তার অংশীদার হওয়ার জন্য তোমাদের যোগ্য করে তুলেছেন।
13 He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.
কারণ অন্ধকারের কর্তৃত্ব থেকে তিনি আমাদের উদ্ধার করে তাঁর পুত্রের রাজ্যে নিয়ে এসেছেন, যাঁকে তিনি প্রেম করেন।
14 In his Son we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
তাঁর দ্বারাই আমরা মুক্তি এবং সব পাপের ক্ষমা পেয়েছি।
15 The Son is the image of the invisible God. He is the firstborn of all creation.
তিনি অদৃশ্য ঈশ্বরের প্রতিমূর্তি, সমগ্র সৃষ্টির প্রথমজাত।
16 For by him all things were created, those in the heavens and those on the earth, the visible and the invisible things. Whether thrones or dominions or governments or authorities, all things were created by him and for him.
কারণ তাঁর দ্বারা সমস্ত কিছু সৃষ্ট হয়েছে, স্বর্গ কি মর্ত্য, দৃশ্য কি অদৃশ্য, সিংহাসন কি আধিপত্য, আধিপত্য কি কর্তৃত্ব, সমস্ত বস্তু তাঁরই দ্বারা ও তাঁরই জন্য সৃষ্ট হয়েছে।
17 He himself is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
সব বিষয়ের পূর্ব থেকেই তিনি বিরাজমান। তাঁরই মধ্যে সমস্ত বস্তু সন্নিবদ্ধ।
18 He is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so he has first place among all things.
তিনি দেহের, অর্থাৎ মণ্ডলীর মস্তক; তিনিই সূচনা, তিনিই মৃতগণের মধ্য থেকে উত্থিত প্রথমজাত, যেন সমস্ত কিছুর উপরে তাঁর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়।
19 For God was pleased that all his fullness should live in him,
কারণ ঈশ্বর এতেই প্রীত হলেন যে, তাঁর সমস্ত পূর্ণতা খ্রীষ্টের মধ্যে অধিষ্ঠান করে এবং
20 and to reconcile through the Son all things to himself. God made peace through the blood of his cross. God reconciled all things to himself, whether the things on the earth or the things in heaven.
ক্রুশে পাতিত তাঁর রক্তের মাধ্যমে শান্তি স্থাপন করে, তাঁর দ্বারা স্বর্গ কি মর্ত্যের সবকিছুকে তাঁর সঙ্গে সম্মিলিত করেন।
21 At one time, you also were strangers to God and were his enemies in mind and in evil deeds.
এক সময় তোমরা ঈশ্বরের কাছ থেকে দূরে সরে গিয়েছিলে এবং তোমাদের মন্দ আচরণের জন্য অন্তরে ঈশ্বরের শত্রু হয়েছিলে;
22 But now he has reconciled you by his physical body through death. He did this in order to present you holy, blameless, and above reproach before him,
কিন্তু ঈশ্বর এখন খ্রীষ্টের মানবদেহে মৃত্যুবরণের দ্বারা তোমাদের সম্মিলিত করেছেন, যেন তাঁর সাক্ষাতে তোমাদের পবিত্র, নিষ্কলঙ্ক ও অনিন্দনীয়রূপে উপস্থিত করেন,
23 if you continue in the faith, established and firm, not moved away from the certain hope of the gospel that you heard. This is the gospel that was proclaimed to every person created under heaven. This is the gospel of which I, Paul, became a servant.
যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসে অবিচল থাকো, প্রতিষ্ঠিত ও সুদৃঢ় থেকে সুসমাচারের মধ্যে যে প্রত্যাশা আছে, তা থেকে বিচ্যুত না হও। তোমরা এই সুসমাচারই শুনেছ, যা আকাশমণ্ডলের নিচে সব সৃষ্টির কাছে প্রচার করা হয়েছে, আমি পৌল যার পরিচারক হয়েছি।
24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is lacking of the afflictions of Christ for the sake of his body, which is the church.
তোমাদের জন্য আমি আমার দেহে যে দুঃখকষ্ট আমি ভোগ করেছি তার জন্য এখন আমি আনন্দ বোধ করছি কারণ এভাবে আমি খ্রীষ্টের কষ্টভোগে অংশগ্রহণ করছি যা তাঁর দেহ অর্থাৎ মণ্ডলীর ক্ষেত্রে বজায় রয়েছে।
25 It is of this church that I am a servant, according to the responsibility from God that was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God.
তোমাদের কাছে ঈশ্বরের বাক্যকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে প্রকাশ করার জন্য ঈশ্বর আমার উপর যে দায়িত্ব অর্পণ করেছেন, সেজন্য আমি মণ্ডলীর দাসত্ব বরণ করেছি।
26 This is the secret truth that was hidden for ages and for generations. But now it has been revealed to those who believe in him. (aiōn g165)
যুগযুগাম্ত এবং বহু প্রজন্ম ধরে এই গুপ্তরহস্য গোপন রাখা হয়েছিল, কিন্তু এখন তা পবিত্রগণের কাছে প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। (aiōn g165)
27 It is to them that God wanted to make known the riches of the glory of this secret truth among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
কারণ ঈশ্বর চেয়েছিলেন, তাঁরা জানবে যে খ্রীষ্টের ঐশ্বর্য ও গৌরব অইহুদিদের জন্যও। আর এই হল সেই গুপ্তরহস্য: খ্রীষ্ট তোমাদের মধ্যে বাস করেন; এই সত্য তোমাদের আশ্বাস দেয় যে তোমরাও তাঁর গৌরবের ভাগীদার হবে।
28 This is he whom we proclaim. We admonish every person, and we teach every person with all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in Christ.
আমরা তাঁকেই প্রচার করি। প্রত্যেককে আমরা পূর্ণরূপে সতর্ক করে তুলি এবং শিক্ষা দিই যেন প্রত্যেককে খ্রীষ্টে নিখুঁতরূপে উপস্থিত করতে পারি।
29 For this I labor and strive according to his energy that is at work in me in power.
এই উদ্দেশ্যে খ্রীষ্টের যেসব শক্তি আমার মধ্যে প্রবলভাবে সক্রিয়, তাঁরই সহায়তায় আমি পরিশ্রম ও সংগ্রাম করে চলেছি।
