Amos 6
1 Woe to those who are at ease in Zion, and to those who are secure in the hill country of Samaria, the notable men of the best of the nations, to whom the house of Israel comes for help!
Alaut sila nga anaa sa kasayon diha sa Sion, ug sila nga nagasalig sa bukid sa Samaria, ang mga dagkung tawo nga pangulo sa mga nasud, nga kanila nanganha ang balay sa Israel!
2 Your leaders say, “Go to Kalneh and look; from there go to Hamath, the great city; then go down to Gath of the Philistines. Are they better than your two kingdoms? Is their border larger than your border?”
Umagi kamo ngadto sa Calne, ug tan-awa; ug gikan didto lumakaw kamo ngadto sa Hamath nga daku; unya lumogsong kamo ngadto sa Gath sa mga Filistehanon: maayo pa ba sila kay niining mga gingharian? kun ang ilang utlanan halapad pa ba kay sa inyong utlanan?
3 Woe to those who put off the day of disaster and make the throne of violence come near.
Kamo nga nagapahalayo sa dautan nga adlaw, ug nagapaduol sa lingkoranan alang sa pagpanlupig;
4 They lie on beds of ivory and lounge on their couches. They eat lambs from the flock and calves from the stall.
Nga nagahigda sa mga higdaanan nga garing, ug nanaghay-ad sa ilang mga kaugalingon sa ilang mga higdaanan, ug nagakaon sa mga nating carnero gikan sa panon, ug sa mga nating vaca gikan sa taliwala sa toril;
5 They sing foolish songs to the music of the harp; they improvise on instruments as David did.

6 They drink wine from bowls and anoint themselves with the finest oils, but they do not grieve over the ruin of Joseph.

7 So they will now go into exile with the first exiles, and the feasts of those who lounge about will pass away.
Busa sila karon pagabihagon uban sa unang gibihag; ug ang panaghudyaga niadtong nanaghay-ad sa higdaanan moagi lamang.
8 “I, the Lord Yahweh, have sworn by myself —this is the declaration of the Lord Yahweh, the God of hosts, I detest the pride of Jacob; I hate his fortresses. Therefore I will deliver up the city with all that is in it.”
Ang Ginoong Jehova nagapanumpa pinaagi sa iyang kaugalingon, nga nagaingon si Jehova, ang Dios sa mga panon: Ako nagaayad sa kahalangdon ni Jacob, ug nagadumot sa iyang mga palacio; tungod niini itugyan ko ang ciudad uban ang tanang butang nga anaa niana.
9 It will come about that if there are ten men left in one house, they will all die.
Ug mahitabo, kong adunay mahabilin nga napulo ka tawo sa usa ka balay, mangamatay sila.
10 When a man's relative comes to take their bodies up—the one who is to cremate them after bringing the corpses out of the house—if he says to the person in the house, “Is there anyone with you?” What if that person says, “No.” Then he will say, “Be quiet, for we must not mention Yahweh's name.”
Ug sa diha nga ang uyoan sa usa ka tawo magakuha kaniya, bisan siya nga magasunog kaniya, sa pagkuha sa mga bukog gawas sa balay, ug moingon kaniya nga anaa sa kinasuloran nga mga bahin sa balay: Aduna bay kauban ikaw? Ug siya moingon: Wala; unya siya moingon: Humilom ka; kay dili kita makahisgot sa ngalan ni Jehova.
11 For, look, Yahweh will give a command, and the big house will be smashed to pieces, and the little house to bits.
Kay, ania karon, si Jehova nagasugo, ug ang dakung balay pagagun-obon sa hingpit, ug ang mga magagmayng balay, pagapalikion.
12 Do horses run on the rocky cliffs? Does one plow there with oxen? Yet you have turned justice into poison and the fruit of righteousness into bitterness.
Modalagan ba ang mga kabayo ibabaw sa bato? aduna bay modaro didto uban sa mga vaca? sanglit gihimo man ninyo nga apdo ang justicia, ug ang bunga sa pagkamatarung gihimo nga panyawan;
13 You who rejoice over Lo Debar, who say, “Have we not taken Karnaim by our own strength?”
Kamo nga nagakalipay sa butang nga kawang lamang, nga nagaingon: Wala ba kita makakuha ug mga sungay gikan sa kaugalingon tang kusog?
14 “But look, I will raise up against you a nation, house of Israel—this is the declaration of the Lord Yahweh, the God of hosts. They will afflict you from Lebo Hamath to the brook of the Arabah.”
Kay, ania karon, ako magapatindog usa ka nasud batok kaninyo, Oh balay sa Israel, nagaingon si Jehova, ang Dios sa mga panon; ug sila magasakit kaninyo gikan sa inyong pagsulod sa Hamath hangtud sa sapa sa Arabah.
