Acts 3
1 Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
伯多祿和若望在祈禱的時辰，即第九時辰，上聖殿去。
2 Now a man lame from birth was being carried every day to the Beautiful gate of temple, so he could ask people who were going into the temple for a gift of money.
有一個人從母胎中就瘸了；每天有人抬他來，放在名叫麗門的殿門前，好向進聖殿的人求施捨。
3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple, he asked them for a gift of money.
他看見伯多祿和若望要進聖殿，便要求給一點施捨。
4 Peter, fastening his eyes upon him, with John, said, “Look at us.”
伯多祿和若望定睛看著他說：「你看我們！」
5 The lame man looked at them, expecting to receive something from them.
他就注目看他們，希望得點什麼。
6 But Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have, I will give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
伯多祿卻說：「銀子和金子，我沒有；但把我所有的給你：因納匝肋人耶穌基督的名字，你【起來】行走罷!」
7 Taking him by the right hand, Peter raised him up, and immediately the man's feet and ankle were made strong.
於是握住他的右手，拉他起來；他的腳和踝骨就立即強壯了。
8 Leaping up, the lame man stood and began to walk; and he entered with Peter and John into the temple, walking, leaping, and praising God.
他跳起來，能站立行走；遂同他們進入聖殿，隨走隨跳，讚美天主。
9 All the people saw him walking and praising God.
眾百姓也都看見他行走讚美天主。
10 They noticed that it was the man who had been asking people for a gift of money at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement because of what had happened to him.
他們一認出他就是那坐在聖殿麗門前求施捨的人，就對他所遇到的事，滿懷驚訝詫異。
11 As he was holding on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly marveling.
當那人拉著伯多祿和若望的時候，眾百姓都驚奇地跑到他們那裏，即到名叫「撒羅滿廊」下。
12 When Peter saw this, he answered the people, “You men of Israel, why do you marvel? Why do you fix your eyes on us, as if we had made him to walk by our own power or godliness?
伯多祿一見，就發言對百姓說：「諸位以色列人！你們為什麼對這事驚奇﹖或者為什麼注視我們，好像是我們因自己的能力或熱心使他行走﹖
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. He is the one whom you delivered up and rejected before the face of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.
亞巴郎、依撒格和雅各伯的天主，我們祖先的天主，光榮了自己的僕人耶穌，他就是你們所解送，並在比拉多前所否認的；雖然那人原判定要釋放他，
14 You rejected the Holy and Righteous One, and you asked instead for a murderer to be released to you.
你們卻否認了那聖而且義的人，竟要求把殺人犯，恩賜給你們，
15 You killed the Founder of life, whom God raised from the dead—and we are witnesses of this.
反而殺害了生命之原；天主卻從死者中復活了他，我們就是這事的見證人。
16 Now, by faith in his name—this man whom you see and know—this same name made him strong. The faith that is through Jesus gave to him this complete health in the presence of all of you.
因我們信仰他的名，他的名就強壯了你們所看見，所認識的這人：即由他而來的信德，在你們眾人面前賜這人完全好了。
17 Now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.
現今，弟兄們！我知道你們所行的，是出於無知；你們的首領也是如此。
18 But the things which God foretold by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he has now fulfilled.
但天主藉著眾先知的口，預言他的默西亞當受難的事，也就這樣應驗了。
19 Repent, therefore, and turn, so that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come periods of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
你們悔改，並回心轉意罷！好消除你們的罪過，
20 and that he may send the Christ who has been appointed for you, Jesus.
為的是使安樂的時期由上主面前來到，他好給你們派遣已預定的默西亞耶穌，
21 He is the One heaven must receive until the time of the restoration of all things, about which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets. (aiōn g165)
因為他必須留在天上，直到萬物復興的時候；對此，天主藉著他古聖先知的口早已說過了。 (aiōn g165)
22 Moses indeed said, 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet like me from among your brothers. You shall listen to everything that he will speak to you.
梅瑟說過：『上主，我們的天主，要從你們的弟兄們中，給你們興起一位像我一樣的先知，你們應在他吩咐的一切事上聽從他。
23 It will happen that every person who does not listen to that prophet will be completely destroyed from among the people.'
將來無論誰，若不聽從那位先知，必從民間剷除。』
24 Yes, and all the prophets from Samuel and those who came after him, they spoke out and announced these days.
其實，所有的先知，自撒慕爾起，及以後講話的先知，都預言了這些日子。
25 You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, as he said to Abraham, 'In your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.'
你們是先知和盟約之子，那盟約是天主與你們的祖先所訂立的，因他曾向亞巴郎說：『地上萬民，都要因你的後裔，獲得祝福。』
26 After God raised up his servant, he sent him to you first, in order to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”
天主先給你們興起他的僕人，派他來祝福你們，使你們個個歸依，脫離你們的邪惡。」
