< Acts 2 >
1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in the same place.
Lwejire lwakinga olusiku lwa Pentekoste, bhona bhaliga bhali amwi orubhara lumwi.
2 Suddenly there came from heaven a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
Mbefura nisokerera echirumo okusoka mwiguru ko muyaga musito, ngwijusha inyumba yona omwo yaga bheyanjire.
3 There appeared to them tongues like fire that were distributed, and they sat upon each one of them.
Ao njibhasokerera jindimi, kuti ndimi jo muriro jitagene, njibha inguru yebhwe ku bhuli umwi webhwe.
4 They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other languages, as the Spirit gave them to speak.
Abhene bhona nibhejushwa no Mwoyo Mweru na mbamba okwaika kwa jinyaika jindi, lwa kutyo Omwoyo abhasakiye okwaika.
5 Now there were Jews who were living in Jerusalem, godly men, from every nation under heaven.
Mbe bhaga bhalio abhayaudi abho bhaga bhekaye Yerusalemu, musige Nyamuanga, okusoka bhuli amaanga emwaro ya liguru.
6 When this sound was heard, the multitude came together and was confused because everyone heard them speaking in his own language.
Obhuraka obhwo bhwejire bhwongwa, likofyanya lya bhanu ndija amwi na bhali no bhubha kwo kubha bhuli munu abhonguwe mbaroma kwa inyaika yaye omwene.
7 They were amazed and marveled; they said, “Really, are not all these who are speaking Galileans?
Bhasamire no kutang'ang'ara, abhene mbaika, “Chimali, bhanu bhona abharoma bhatali bhagalilaya?
8 Why is it that we are hearing them, each in our own language in which we were born?
Okubhaki eswe echibhongwa, bhuli umwi mu nyaika ejo chebhuwe najo?
9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, and those who live in Mesopotamia, in Judea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia,
Waparthia na Wamedi na Waelamu, nabho bhekaye Mesopotamia, Uyahudi, na Kapadokia, na Ponto na Asia,
10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya toward Cyrene, and visitors from Rome,
Frigia, Pamfilia, Misiri, no rubhara lwa Libya nolo Kirene, na bhagenyi okusoka Rumi,
11 Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians, we hear them telling in our languages about the mighty works of God.”
Abhayaudi na Bhaongofu, Wakrete na Waarabu, echibhongwa mbaroma mu nyaika jeswe inguru ye mirimu jo bhuturo bhwa Nyamuanga.”
12 They were all amazed and perplexed; they said to one another, “What does this mean?”
Bhona bhaliga bhasamire na bhatasombokewe; bhaikene abhene kwa bhene, “Inu ina nsonga ki?”
13 But others mocked and said, “They are full of new wine.”
Nawe abhandi nibhagaya mbaika, “Bhanu bhejusibhwe kwo bhwarwa bhuyaya.”
14 But Peter stood with the eleven, raised his voice, and said to them, “Men of Judea and all of you who live at Jerusalem, let this be known to you; pay attention to my words.
Nawe Petro nemereguru amwi na bhaliya ekumi na umwi, naika kwo bhuraka bhunene, nabhabhwira, “Abhanu bha Yuda na bhona abho mwikaye anu Yerusalemu, linu limenyekane kwemwe, mutegereshe nekeneke emisango jani.
15 For these people are not drunk as you assume, for it is only the third hour of the day.
Abhanu bhanu bhatatamirire lwa kutyo omwitogera, kwo kubha oryanu ni katondo sae satu.
16 But this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel:
Nawe linu yaga ryaikirwe okurabha kwo muragi Yoeli:
17 'It will be in the last days,' God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
Eibha kutyo mu nsiku jo bhutero; Nyamuanga kaika, enitira Omwoyo gwani ku bhanu bhona. Abhasigaji bhemwe na bhayarakaji bhemwe abhasosha obhunabii, abhana bhemwe abharora amaono, na bhakaruka bhemwe abharota ebhiroto.
18 Also on my servants and my female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they will prophesy.
Kutyo kutyo inguru ya bhakosi bhani na bhakosi bhani bhe chigasi mu nsiku ejo, enitira Omwoyo gwani, abhene abhatabiri.
19 I will show wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below, blood, fire, and vapor of smoke.
Eneresha ebhikorwa inguru mu rwire ne bhibharikisho emwaro munsi, amanyinga, omuriro, na mafusho ga ingesi.
20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the great and remarkable day of the Lord comes.
Na lisubha eliyindurwa okubha bhusute no kwesi okubha manyinga, ichali kuja olusiku orukuru no rwo kutangasha rwo Mukama.
21 It will be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
Eibha ya kutya bhuli umwi oyo kabhirikira lisina ryo Mukama kaguruhurwa.'
22 Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man accredited to you by God by the mighty deeds, the wonders, and the signs which God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know.
Abhanu bha Israeli, mutegereshe emisango jinu: Yesu wa Nazareti, omunu oyo ekirisibhwe na Nyamuanga kwemwe kwe bhikorwa bhyo bhuturo ne bhiruguro, ne bhibharikisho, ebhyo Nyamuanga okuturira omwene agati yemwe, lwa kutyo emwe abhene mumenyere.
23 This man was handed over by God's predetermined plan and foreknowledge; and you, by the hand of lawless men, put him to death by nailing him to a cross.
Ku njuno yo mupango ogwo gwaga gupangirwe okusoka kubhwambiro, no bhumenyi bhwa Nyamuanga, asosibhwe, nemwe, kwa mabhoko ga bhanu abhanyamuke, mumubhamba no kumwita,
24 But God raised him up, freeing him from the pains of death, because it was impossible for him to be held by it.
oyo Nyamuanga amwimusishe, nabhusoshao obhusungu bhwo rufu ku mwene, kwo kubha itatulikene okubha norwo.
25 For David says about him, 'I saw the Lord always before my face, for he is beside my right hand so that I should not be moved.
Kutyo Daudi kaika inguru yo mwene, 'Namulorere Omukama chimwi imbele yo bhusu bhwani, omwene ali mu kubhoko kwani kwo bhuryo mbe kutyo ntakwirisibhwa.
26 Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue rejoiced. Also, my flesh will live in certain hope.
Kutyo omutima gwani gwaga guli no bhukondelerwa no rulimi rwani rwakonderesibhwe. No mubhili gwani ogwikara kutyo mu bhuigi.
27 For you will not abandon my soul to Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. (Hadēs )
Utakusiga omutima gwani gugende kujimu, norwo utakwikirisha omwalu wao alore obhubhole. (Hadēs )
28 You revealed to me the ways of life; you will make me full of gladness with your face.'
Awe unyoresishe jinjira jo bhuanga; ounkora nijule obhukondelerwa imbele yo bhusu bhwao.'
29 Brothers, I can speak to you confidently about the patriarch David, he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
Bhaili, enitura okuroma kwemwe kwo bhuigi inguru ya lata weswe Daudi: omwene afuye na mbamusika, ne chituro chaye chili amwi neswe norwo lelo linu.
30 Therefore, he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn with an oath to him, that he would set one of the fruit of his body upon his throne.
Kutyo, aliga ali omuragi na amenyere ati Nyamuanga alalaiye kwe chilairo chaye, ati katula oumwi ku rwibhuro rwaye ku chitebhe cho bhukama.
31 He saw what was to happen in the future and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, 'He was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did his flesh see decay.' (Hadēs )
Alilorere linu kuchabhona, na naika inguru yo bhusuruko bhwa Masia, 'norwo atasigirwe kujimu, norwo omubhili gwaye gutabhorere.' (Hadēs )
32 This Jesus—God raised him up, of which we all are witnesses.
Yesu unu - Nyamuanga amwiruye, oyo eswe bhona chili bhabhambasi.
33 Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God and having received the promised Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you see and hear.
Ku rwejo, abheye emusibhwe inguru mu kubhoko kwo bhuryo kwa Nyamuanga, na alamiye iahadi yo Mwoyo Omweru okusoka kwa Latabhugenyi, omwene eturuye iahadi inu, oyo emwe omurora no kungwa.
34 For David did not ascend to the heaven, but he says, 'The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,
Kwo kubha Daudi atagurukile okugenda mwiguru, nawe kaika, 'OMUKAMA naika ku Mukama wani,
35 until I make your enemies the stool for your feet.”'
“iyanja mukubhoko kwani kwo bhuryo, mpaka ao nirabhakora abhabhibhi bhao kubhe singiro ku maguru gao.
36 Therefore, let all the house of Israel certainly know that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”
Ku rwejo inyumba yona ya Israeli na imenye chimwi ati Nyamuanga amukorere omwene kubha Mukama na Kristo, Yesu unu oyo mwabhambile.”
37 Now when they heard this, they were pierced in their hearts, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Mbe bhejile bhongwa kutyo, mbasomwa emitima jebhwe, mbamubhwira Petro na jintumwa abhandi, “Bhaili, chikole kutiki?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Na Petro nabhabhwira, “Muungame na mubhatijibhwe, bhuli umwi wemwe, mwi sina lya Yesu Kristo korereki musasilwe ebhiyeno bhyemwe, no mulamila izawadi yo Mwoyo Omweru.
39 For the promise is to you and to your children and to all that are far off, as many people as the Lord our God will call.”
Kwo kubha kwemwe ni ahadi na kubhana bhemwe na kwa bhona abho bhali arera, abhanu bhanfu lwa kutyo Omukama Nyamuanga weswe kabhabhirikila.”
40 With many other words he testified and urged them; he said, “Save yourselves from this wicked generation.”
Kwa magambo manfu abhabhwiliye no kubhakomelesha; aikile, “Mwijunile musoke mu rwibhulo lunu oruyaga.”
41 Then they received his word and were baptized, and there were added in that day about three thousand souls.
Nio mbaramila amagambo gaye mbabhatijibhwa, ao mbeyongesha ku lusiku orwo kuti bhanu bhiumbi bhisatu.
42 They continued in the apostles' teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and in prayers.
Mbagenderera mumeigisho ga jintumwa no bhumwi, mwirya lyo mukate na mu maombi.
43 Fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles.
Obhubha mbuja inguru ya bhuli munu, ne bhikorwa bhyanfu ne bhibharikisho mbikorwa okulabha ku ntumwa.
44 All who believed were together and had all things in common,
Bhona abho bhekirisishe bhaliga bhali amwi no kubha ne bhinu bhyebhwe amwi,
45 and they sold their property and possessions and distributed them to all, according to the needs anyone had.
na bhagusishe ebhinu na jinsambu jebhwe no kugabha ku bhona okwingana na lya bhuli umwi.
46 So day after day they continued with one purpose in the temple, and they broke bread in homes, and they shared food with glad and humble hearts,
Kutyo olusiku kwo lusiku bhagendeleye bhali no bhulamusi bhumwi mwi hekalu, na mbarya omukate mu musi, na mbarya ebhiryo kwo kukondererwa no kwimamya mu mutima;
47 praising God and having favor with all the people, and every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.
mbamusima Nyamuanga na bhali ne chibharikisho na abhanu bhona. Omukama abhongeshaga olusiku kwo lusiku kwabho bherurwaga.
