2 Timothy 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, according to the promise of the life that is in Christ Jesus,
க்²ரீஷ்டேந யீஸு²நா யா ஜீவநஸ்ய ப்ரதிஜ்ஞா தாமதீ⁴ஸ்²வரஸ்யேச்ச²யா யீஸோ²: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யைக: ப்ரேரித: பௌலோ(அ)ஹம்’ ஸ்வகீயம்’ ப்ரியம்’ த⁴ர்ம்மபுத்ரம்’ தீமதி²யம்’ ப்ரதி பத்ரம்’ லிகா²மி|
2 to Timothy, beloved child: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
தாத ஈஸ்²வரோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்²ச த்வயி ப்ரஸாத³ம்’ த³யாம்’ ஸா²ந்திஞ்ச க்ரியாஸ்தாம்’|
3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers, with a clean conscience, as I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day.
அஹம் ஆ பூர்வ்வபுருஷாத் யம் ஈஸ்²வரம்’ பவித்ரமநஸா ஸேவே தம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வத³நம்’ கத²யாமி, அஹம் அஹோராத்ரம்’ ப்ரார்த²நாஸமயே த்வாம்’ நிரந்தரம்’ ஸ்மராமி|
4 As I remember your tears, I long to see you, that I may be filled with joy.
யஸ்²ச விஸ்²வாஸ: ப்ரத²மே லோயீநாமிகாயாம்’ தவ மாதாமஹ்யாம் உநீகீநாமிகாயாம்’ மாதரி சாதிஷ்ட²த் தவாந்தரே(அ)பி திஷ்ட²தீதி மந்யே
5 I have been reminded of your genuine faith, which lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am convinced that it lives in you also.
தவ தம்’ நிஷ்கபடம்’ விஸ்²வாஸம்’ மநஸி குர்வ்வந் தவாஸ்²ருபாதம்’ ஸ்மரந் யதா²நந்தே³ந ப்ரப²ல்லோ ப⁴வேயம்’ தத³ர்த²ம்’ தவ த³ர்ஸ²நம் ஆகாங்க்ஷே|
6 This is the reason I am reminding you to rekindle the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
அதோ ஹேதோ ர்மம ஹஸ்தார்பணேந லப்³தோ⁴ ய ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய வரஸ்த்வயி வித்³யதே தம் உஜ்ஜ்வாலயிதும்’ த்வாம்’ ஸ்மாரயாமி|
7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and discipline.
யத ஈஸ்²வரோ(அ)ஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ ப⁴யஜநகம் ஆத்மாநம் அத³த்த்வா ஸ²க்திப்ரேமஸதர்கதாநாம் ஆகரம் ஆத்மாநம்’ த³த்தவாந்|
8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me, Paul, his prisoner. Instead, share in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God.
அதஏவாஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபு⁴மதி⁴ தஸ்ய வந்தி³தா³ஸம்’ மாமதி⁴ ச ப்ரமாணம்’ தா³தும்’ ந த்ரபஸ்வ கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரீயஸ²க்த்யா ஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்ய க்ரு’தே து³: க²ஸ்ய ஸஹபா⁴கீ³ ப⁴வ|
9 It is God who saved us and called us with a holy calling. He did this, not according to our works, but according to his own plan and grace. He gave us these things in Christ Jesus before times ever began. (aiōnios g166)
ஸோ(அ)ஸ்மாந் பரித்ராணபாத்ராணி க்ரு’தவாந் பவித்ரேணாஹ்வாநேநாஹூதவாம்’ஸ்²ச; அஸ்மத்கர்ம்மஹேதுநேதி நஹி ஸ்வீயநிரூபாணஸ்ய ப்ரஸாத³ஸ்ய ச க்ரு’தே தத் க்ரு’தவாந்| ஸ ப்ரஸாத³: ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டே: பூர்வ்வகாலே க்²ரீஷ்டேந யீஸு²நாஸ்மப்⁴யம் அதா³யி, (aiōnios g166)
10 But now God's salvation has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus. It is Christ who put an end to death and brought life that never ends to light through the gospel.
கிந்த்வது⁴நாஸ்மாகம்’ பரித்ராது ர்யீஸோ²: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யாக³மநேந ப்ராகாஸ²த| க்²ரீஷ்டோ ம்ரு’த்யும்’ பராஜிதவாந் ஸுஸம்’வாதே³ந ச ஜீவநம் அமரதாஞ்ச ப்ரகாஸி²தவாந்|
11 Because of this, I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher.
தஸ்ய கோ⁴ஷயிதா தூ³தஸ்²சாந்யஜாதீயாநாம்’ ஸி²க்ஷகஸ்²சாஹம்’ நியுக்தோ(அ)ஸ்மி|
12 For this cause I also suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed. I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have entrusted to him until that day.
தஸ்மாத் காரணாத் மமாயம்’ க்லேஸோ² ப⁴வதி தேந மம லஜ்ஜா ந ஜாயதே யதோ(அ)ஹம்’ யஸ்மிந் விஸ்²வஸிதவாந் தமவக³தோ(அ)ஸ்மி மஹாதி³நம்’ யாவத் மமோபநிதே⁴ ர்கோ³பநஸ்ய ஸ²க்திஸ்தஸ்ய வித்³யத இதி நிஸ்²சிதம்’ ஜாநாமி|
13 Keep the example of faithful messages that you heard from me, with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
ஹிததா³யகாநாம்’ வாக்யாநாம் ஆத³ர்ஸ²ரூபேண மத்த: ஸ்²ருதா: க்²ரீஷ்டே யீஸௌ² விஸ்²வாஸப்ரேம்நோ: கதா² தா⁴ரய|
14 The good thing that God committed to you, guard it through the Holy Spirit, who lives in us.
அபரம் அஸ்மத³ந்தர்வாஸிநா பவித்ரேணாத்மநா தாமுத்தமாம் உபநிதி⁴ம்’ கோ³பய|
15 You know this, that all who live in Asia turned away from me. In this group are Phygelus and Hermogenes.
ஆஸி²யாதே³ஸீ²யா: ஸர்வ்வே மாம்’ த்யக்தவந்த இதி த்வம்’ ஜாநாஸி தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே பூ²கி³ல்லோ ஹர்ம்மகி³நிஸ்²ச வித்³யேதே|
16 May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain.
ப்ரபு⁴ரநீஷிப²ரஸ்ய பரிவாராந் ப்ரதி க்ரு’பாம்’ வித³தா⁴து யத: ஸ புந: புந ர்மாம் ஆப்யாயிதவாந்
17 Instead, when he was in Rome, he sought me diligently, and he found me.
மம ஸ்²ரு’ங்க²லேந ந த்ரபித்வா ரோமாநக³ரே உபஸ்தி²திஸமயே யத்நேந மாம்’ ம்ரு’க³யித்வா மமோத்³தே³ஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்தவாந்|
18 May the Lord grant to him to find mercy from him on that day. All the ways he helped me in Ephesus, you know very well.
அதோ விசாரதி³நே ஸ யதா² ப்ரபோ⁴: க்ரு’பாபா⁴ஜநம்’ ப⁴வேத் தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ வரம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ஸ்தஸ்மை தே³யாத்| இபி²ஷநக³ரே(அ)பி ஸ கதி ப்ரகாரை ர்மாம் உபக்ரு’தவாந் தத் த்வம்’ ஸம்யக்³ வேத்ஸி|
