< 2 Thessalonians 2 >

1 Now about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to be with him, we ask you, brothers,
Le míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe vava kple ale si míaƒo ƒu ɖe egbɔ ŋuti la, míele biabiam tso mia si, nɔviwo, be
2 that you not be easily disturbed or troubled, either by a spirit, by a message, or by a letter that seems to be coming from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has already come.
migana woatɔtɔ miaƒe susuwo bɔbɔe alo ado dzikatsoameƒo na mi kple nyagblɔɖiwo, nutsotsowo alo kple agbalẽ aɖe si wogblɔ be etso mía gbɔ hele gbɔgblɔm be Aƒetɔ la ƒe vavagbe la va yi xoxo o.
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not come until after the falling away comes, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.
4 This is he who opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped. As a result, he sits in the temple of God and exhibits himself as God.
Atsi tsitre ɖe mawu bubuwo ŋu, eye ayi aɖagbã nu siwo katã amewo subɔna la kple afi si wosubɔa wo le la gudugudu. Ayi aɖanɔ Mawu ƒe gbedoxɔ me abe Mawu ene, eye wòable amewo be yee nye Mawu.
5 Do you not remember that when I was with you I told you these things?
Mieɖo ŋku edzi be megblɔ nya siawo na mi esi menɔ mia gbɔ oa?
6 Now you know what restrains him, so that he will be revealed only at the right time.
Eye mienya nu si le mɔ xem na eƒe afi sia vava xoxo, elabena ne eƒe ɣeyiɣi mede o la, mava o.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already working, only there is someone who restrains him now until he is taken out of the way.
Ke nu si ŋutsu aglãdzela sia awɔ ne eva la le edzi yim xoxo le bebeme, gake eya ŋutɔ mava o va se ɖe esime ame si le mɔ xem nɛ la do ɖa le mɔ me nɛ hafi.
8 Then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth. The Lord will bring him to nothing by the revelation of his coming.
Ekema ŋutsu vɔ̃ɖi sia ava do, eye Aƒetɔ Yesu atsɔ eƒe ya si wògbɔna to eƒe nu me la afiae, eye ne etrɔ va la, atsrɔ̃ ŋutsu sia ɖa le anyigba dzi.
9 The lawless one's coming will be due to the work of Satan with all power, signs, and false wonders,
Ŋutsu nu vɔ̃ wɔla sia ava kple Satana ƒe ŋusẽ eye Satana awɔ eŋu dɔ atsɔ wɔ dzesi kple nukunu gã geɖewo, atsɔ aflu amewoe.
10 and with all deceit of unrighteousness. These things will be for those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth for them to be saved.
Atsɔ madzɔmadzɔnyenye able ame siwo katã yina ɖe dzomavɔ la me, elabena wogbe nyateƒe la xɔxɔ, alɔ̃e be wòaɖe wo o,
11 For this reason God is sending them a work of error so that they would believe a lie.
eya ta Mawu ɖe mɔ na wo be woaxɔ alakpa siawo katã dzi ase kple woƒe dzi blibo,
12 The result is that they will all be judged, those who did not believe the truth but instead took pleasure in unrighteousness.
eye woadrɔ̃ ʋɔnu wo katã pɛpɛpɛ be woxɔ alakpa dzi se, wogbe nu le nyateƒe la gbɔ, eye wokpɔ dzidzɔ le woƒe nu vɔ̃wo me.
13 But we should always give thanks to God for you, brothers loved by the Lord. For God chose you as the firstfruits for salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief in the truth.
Ke ele be míada akpe na Mawu ɖaa ɖe mia ta, mi mía nɔvi siwo Aƒetɔ la lɔ̃, elabena Mawu ɖoe tso blema ke be yeana miakpɔ ɖeɖe, aklɔ mia ŋuti to Gbɔgbɔ Kɔkɔe la ƒe dɔwɔwɔ kple miaƒe nyateƒe la dzi xɔxɔ se me.
14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mawu gblɔ nyanyui la na mi to mía dzi, eye to mía dzi wòyɔ mi be miakpɔ gome le míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe la me.
15 So then, brothers, stand firm and hold tightly to the traditions that you were taught, whether by word or by our letter.
Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, nu siawo katã le susu me na mi, eya ta minɔ te sesĩe, eye mialé nyateƒe la me ɖe asi sesĩe, nyateƒe siwo míefia mi, esi míenɔ mia gbɔ kple esiwo míeŋlɔ ɖo ɖe mi le míaƒe agbalẽwo me na mi.
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, (aiōnios g166)
Míaƒe Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo ŋutɔ kple Mawu mía Fofo, ame si lɔ̃ mí, eye to eƒe amenuveve me la, wòna dzideƒo mavɔ kple mɔkpɔkpɔ nyui mí la (aiōnios g166)
17 comfort and establish your hearts in every good work and word.
nade dzi ƒo na mi, eye wòado ŋusẽ mi le dɔ nyui ɖe sia ɖe wɔwɔ kple nyanyui la gbɔgblɔ me.
