< 2 Peter 3 >
1 Beloved, this is now the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them they are reminders to stir up your sincere mind,
Ka it te awng, tu in hi laithak ni na sia, note kung ah kong at hi; ka laithak a nina sung ah a thiangtho na thinsung uh phawk tawntungna taw in kong hanthawn hi:
2 so that you will recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command of our Lord and Savior given through your apostles.
Kamsang thiangtho te in tanglai a sonkholsa thu te le ko sawltak te zang in Topa le Ngumpa i thupitna sia phawktawntung tu in ka at a hihi:
3 Know this first, that mockers will come in the last days. They will mock and proceed according to their own desires.
Hi tu sia amasabel in heak tu a hihi, ni tawpkhak ni ciang in ngual nu nau thei te hongpai tu a, amate i cilesa deina bang in nungta uh hi,
4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his return? From when our fathers fell asleep, all things have stayed the same, since the beginning of creation.”
Taciang amate in, hongpai kik tu thu hong kamciam pa koisung ah om ziam? banghangziam cile i pu le i pa te a mut zawk uh bitphuana a kipatcil pan kipan in na theampo sia ama ngeina bang in om nginge hi, ci hi.
5 They willfully forget that the heavens and the earth came to exist out of water and through water, long ago, by God's command,
Banghangziam cile Pathian thu tungtawn in vantung om a, leitung zong tui sung pan le tuisung ah om hi ci thu sia, a he ngawl bang in a om uh hang a hihi:
6 and that through these things, the world of that time was destroyed, being flooded with water.
Tabang in leitung sia tui taw khu a, susia siat hi:
7 But now the heavens and the earth are reserved for fire by that same command. They are reserved for the day of judgment and the destruction of the ungodly people.
Ahihang tu hun in a om vantung le leitung sia Pathian he ngawl te thukhenna le suksiatna ni in mei taw hal tu in a khetlai a hihi.
8 It should not escape your notice, beloved, that one day with the Lord is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day.
Ahizong ka it te awng, Topa mai ah nikhat sia kum tulkhat bang a hihi, taciang kum tulkhat sia nikhat bang a hihi, ci thu khat sia mangil heak vun.
9 The Lord does not move slowly concerning his promises, as some consider slowness to be. Instead, he is patient toward you. He does not desire for any of you to perish, but for everyone to make room for repentance.
Mi pawlkhat te in a kamciam taw kisai in Topa sia haisang mama hi, ci in ngaisun napi, zuanhai ngawl hi, ahihang khatbeak zong mangthang ngawl tu le mi theampo ki sikkikna ah theng tu a dei hu in thinsautak in hong ngak hi.
10 However, the day of the Lord will come as a thief: The heavens will pass away with a loud noise. The elements will be burned with fire, and the earth and the deeds in it will be revealed.
Ahizong Topa nisia zan ciang in nguta bang in hong theng tu hi; tua ni sia vantung ah aw nging mama taw bo tu a, taciang piansak nate theampo zong a satlei hu in tui siat hi, leitung le a sung a om piansak nate theampo zong kang siat tu hi.
11 Since all these things will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? You should live holy and godly lives.
Hi te theampo bosiat tu ahi hu in, a thiangtho nuntakzia le Pathian mi hina taw na nuntak tu uh hi ngawl ziam?
12 You should expect and hasten the coming of the day of God. On that day, the heavens will be destroyed by fire, and the elements will be melted in great heat.
Vantung sia mei in kang in bo tu a, van ah a ki omsak theampo zong a satlei hu in tui siat tu hi, tua Pathian ni hong thet tu sia lawptak in na ngak vun.
13 But according to his promise, we are waiting for the new heavens and the new earth, where righteousness will dwell.
Ahihang eite sia, ama kamciam bang in thutang suana om na mun vanthak le leithak i en tek hi.
14 Therefore, beloved, since you expect these things, do your best to be found spotless and blameless before him, in peace.
Tua ahikom, ka it te awng, tabang nate na lamet uh hu in, Ama in note sia thinnopna, a niin bang ngawl le paubang ngawl in hong mu thei natu in hanciam tavun.
15 Also, consider the patience of our Lord to be salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him.
Ka it ka suapui pa Paul in Pathian i piak ciimna taw note tung ah a at na sung ah a om bang in, Topa sia eite ngupna atu in a thinsau mama hi;
16 Paul speaks of these things in all his letters, in which there are things that are difficult to understand. Ignorant and unstable men distort these things, as they also do the other scriptures, to their own destruction.
Ama laithak theampo sung ah, a tel haksa thu pawlkhat om hi, lai sin ngawl te le a kho ngawl te in laithiangtho dang sung ah mihing te in a khiakna khial in a telkhial uh bang in, amate le amate ki suksiat na suak tawntung hi.
17 Therefore, beloved, since you know about these things beforehand, guard yourselves so that you are not led astray by the deceit of lawless people and you lose your own faithfulness.
Tua ahikom ka it te awng, mihing pha ngawl te in a khialna taw hong makai ngawl in, note a kip a kho mun pan in na pu thei ngawl natu in, hi thu te hong hesak zo ahikom kidawm in om tavun.
18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the glory be to him both now and forever. Amen! (aiōn )
Ahihang hesuakna sung ah ahizong, ka Topa le Ngumpa Jesus Christ heakna sung ah ahizong in, khang tavun. Ama tung ah minthanna sia tu le a tawntung in om paisuak tahen. Amen. (aiōn )
