< 2 Chronicles 7 >
1 Now when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offerings and sacrifices, and the glory of Yahweh filled the house.
Ie nihenefe’ i Selomò i filolofa’ey, le nidoindoiñe boak’ andikerañe eñe ty afo nampibotseke i enga oroañey naho o soroñeo vaho nandifotse i anjomba’ Iehovày ty enge’ Iehovà.
2 The priests could not enter the house of Yahweh, because his glory filled his house.
Tsy nahafizilik’ añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao o mpisoroñeo amy te nañatseke i anjombay ty enge’ Iehovà.
3 When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of Yahweh over the house, they bowed down with their faces to the ground on the stone pavement and worshiped and gave thanks to Yahweh. They said, “For he is good, for his covenant loyalty endures forever.”
Niisa’ o ana’ Israele iabio ty nivotraha’ i afoy naho ty enge’ Iehovà amy anjombay; le nibokok’ an-damoke eo, nidròdreke mb’an-tane, niambane naho nañandriañe Iehovà: Amy te Ie ro soa, nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
4 So the king and all the people offered sacrifices to Yahweh.
Le songa nanao soroñe añatrefa’ Iehovà i mpanjakay naho ondatio.
5 King Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty-two thousand oxen and 120,000 sheep and goats. So the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
Nandenta añombe ro’ale-tsi-ro’ arivo hisoroñañe t’i Selomò mpanjaka naho boak’ an-dia-raik’ ao ty rai-hetse-tsi-ro’ ale. Aa le noriza’ i mpanjakay naho ondaty iabio ty anjomban’ Añahare.
6 The priests stood, each standing where they serve; the Levites also with instruments of music of Yahweh, which David the king had made to give thanks to Yahweh in the song, “For his covenant faithfulness endures for ever.” All the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
Nijohañe eo o mpisoroñeo, songa fitoloña’e; o nte-Levio rekets’ o fititihan-tsabo am’ Iehovà niranjie’ i Davide mpanjakao, hañandriañe Iehovà, amy te nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e, am-pandrengea’ i Davide am-pità’ iareoo; le nampipopò trompetra tandrife iareo o mpisoroñeo; vaho nijohañe iaby t’Israele.
7 Solomon set apart the middle of the courtyard in front of the house of Yahweh. There he offered the burnt offerings and the fat of the fellowship offerings, because the bronze altar that he had made was not able to hold the burnt offerings, the grain offerings, and the fat.
Mbore nimasiñe’ i Selomò ty añivon-kiririsa aolo’ i anjomba’ Iehovày; le eo ty nañengà’e i soroñe rey naho o saboran’ engam-panintsiñañeo; amy te tsy naharambe i soroñe rey naho o engan-kaneñeo naho i saboray i kitrely torisike niranjie’ i Selomòy.
8 So Solomon held the festival at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from Lebo Hamath to the brook of Egypt.
Aa le nambena’ i Selomò fito andro i sabadidakey naho niharo ama’e iaby t’Israele, toe valobohòke jabajaba, sikal’ am-pimoahañ’ amy Kamate añe pak’ an-toraha’ i Mitsraime añe.
9 On the eighth day they held a solemn assembly, for they kept the dedication of the altar for seven days, and the feast for seven days.
Le hene nivoribey amy andro fahavaloy, amy te nambena’ iereo fito andro ty fañorizañe i kitreliy vaho fito andro ka i sabadidakey.
10 On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, Solomon sent the people away to their homes with glad and joyful hearts because of the goodness that Yahweh had shown to David, Solomon, and Israel, his people.
Aa ie amy andro faha roapolo-telo’ambi’ i volam-pahafitoy, le nampolie’e mb’an-kivoho’e mb’eo ondatio, sambe fale naho nirebek’ an-troke ty amy hasoa naboa’ Iehovà amy Davide naho amy Selomò vaho am’ Israele ondati’eoy.
11 Thus Solomon finished the house of Yahweh and his own house. Everything that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of Yahweh and in his own house, he successfully carried out.
Aa le nifonire’ i Selomò i anjomba’ Iehovày naho i anjomba’ i mpanjakaiy; ze hene nimoak’ añ’arofo’ i Selomò le niranjie’e añ’ anjomba’ Iehovà ao naho amy anjomba’ey ho fonitse.
12 Yahweh appeared to Solomon by night and said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and I have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice.
Niboak’ amy Selomò haleñe t’Iehovà, nanao ama’e ty hoe: Tsinanoko i halali’oy vaho jinoboko ho ahiko ho anjombam-pisoroñañe ty toetse toy.
13 Suppose that I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send disease among my people,
Aa naho arindriko i likerañey tsy hahavia’e orañe, ke lilieko o valalao hampibotseke i taney, he ampihitrifako angorosy am’ondatikoo;
14 then if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
le ie hirè-batañe ondaty tokaveñe ami’ ty añarakoo, hihalaly naho hipay ty tareheko vaho hifotetse amo fañaveloa’ iareo ratio; le hitsanoñe boak’ andindiñe ao Raho, le hapoko o tahi’ iareoo vaho ho janganeko o tane’ iareoo.
15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers that are made in this place.
Hisokake henaneo o masokoo, le ho tsanoñe’ o sofikoo ze halaly anoeñe ami’ty toetse toy.
16 For I have now chosen and set apart this house that my name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there every day.
Fa jinoboko naho nimasiñeko ty anjomba toy henane zao, soa te ho ao kitro-katroke ty añarako vaho ho ama’e nainai’e donia o masokoo naho ty troko.
17 As for you, if you walk before me as David your father walked, obeying all that I have commanded you and keeping my statutes and my decrees,
Le ie hañavelo añatrefako, manahake ty fañaveloa’ i Davide rae’o, hanao o fonga nandiliako azoo, hañambeñe o fañèkoo naho o fepèkoo;
18 then I will establish the throne of your kingdom, as I said in a covenant with David your father, when I said, 'A descendant of yours will never fail to be ruler in Israel.'
le horizako ty fiambesam-pifeleha’o, ty amy fañinako amy Davide rae’o, nanao ty hoe: Tsy ho po-ondaty hifehe Israele irehe.
19 But if you turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have placed before you, and if you go worship other gods and bow down to them,
Fe naho hivìke añe irehe hamorintseñe o fañèkoo naho o fepèko najadoko añatrefa’ areoo vaho hiavotse hitoroñe ndrahare ila’e hitalahoa’ areo;
20 then I will uproot them from out of my ground that I have given them. This house that I have set apart for my name, I will cast away from before me, and I will make it a proverb and a joke among all the peoples.
le hombotako reke-bahatse an-taneko natoloko iareo; le ty anjomba nimasiñeko ho ami’ty añarako toy ro hahifiko tsy ho am-pahatreavako añe, fa hanoeko razan-drehake naho fandrabioña’ ze kilakila’ ondaty.
21 Even though this temple is so lofty now, everyone who passes by it will be shocked and will hiss. They will ask, 'Why has Yahweh done this to this land and to this house?'
Le ty anjomba mandigiligy toy, ro hilatsà ze fonga mpiary ama’e, hanao ty hoe; Aa vaho akore te nanoe’ Iehovà zao o tane toañeo naho i anjomba’ey?
22 Others will answer, 'Because they forsook Yahweh, their God, who had brought their ancestors out of the land of Egypt, and they laid hold of other gods and bowed down to them and worshiped them. That is why Yahweh has brought all this disaster on them.'”
Le hoe ty havali’ iareo: Ie namorintseñe Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’ iareo nañavotse iareo an-tane Mitsraime añe, mbore nandrambe ndrahare ila’e naho nitalahoa’ iareo vaho nitoroña’ iareo; toly ndra naobo’e am’iereo o fonga hankàñe zao.
