2 Chronicles 4
1 Moreover he made an altar of bronze; its length was twenty cubits, and its width was twenty cubits. Its height was ten cubits.
Udělal také i oltář měděný, zdélí dvadcíti loktů, a dvadcíti loktů zšíří, desíti pak loktů zvýší.
2 He also made the round sea of cast metal, ten cubits from brim to brim. Its height was five cubits, and the sea was thirty cubits in circumference.
Udělal též moře slité, desíti loket od jednoho kraje k druhému, okrouhlé vůkol, zvýší na pět loktů, a okolek jeho třidcíti loket vůkol.
3 Under the brim encircling the sea were bulls, ten to each cubit, cast in one piece with the sea when the sea itself was cast.
Podobenství také volů pod ním, kterýchž všudy vůkol bylo deset do lokte, obkličujících moře vůkol; a tak byly dva řady volů slitých, spolu s mořem.
4 The large basin known as “The Sea” was set upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, three looking toward the west, three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east. “The Sea” was set on top of them, and all their hindquarters were toward the inside.
A stálo na dvanácti volích. Tři obráceni byli na půlnoci, a tři patřili k západu, tři zase postaveni byli ku poledni, a tři obráceni byli k východu, a moře svrchu na nich stálo, ale všech jich zadkové byli pod mořem.
5 “The Sea” was as thick as the width of a hand, and its brim was forged like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. “The Sea” held three thousand baths of water.
A bylo ztlouští na dlaň. Kraj jeho byl, jakýž bývá u koflíku aneb květu liliového, tři tisíce tun v se beroucí.
6 He made also ten basins for washing things; he put five on the south side, and five on the north; items used in performing the burnt offering were to be washed in them. The large basin known as “The Sea” was used by the priests for them to wash.
Udělal také deset umyvadel, a postavil jich pět po pravé straně, a pět po levé, k obmývání z nich. Všecko, což se strojilo k zápalům, obmývali z nich, ale moře, aby se z něho kněží umývali.
7 He made the ten lampstands of gold that were made from the instructions for their design; he placed them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
Nadto udělal i svícnů zlatých deset vedlé slušnosti jejich, a postavil v chrámě, pět po pravé straně a pět po levé.
8 He made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. He made one hundred basins of gold.
Udělal i stolů deset, kteréž postavil v chrámě, pět po pravé a pět po levé straně. K tomu udělal číší zlatých sto.
9 Furthermore he made the courtyard of the priests, and the great court and the doors for the court and overlaid their doors with bronze.
Udělal potom síň kněžskou, též síň velikou, a dvéře u též síně okoval mědí.
10 He placed the basin known as “The Sea” on the east side of the temple, facing toward the south.
Moře pak postavil na pravé straně k východu, naproti polední straně.
11 Huram made the pots, the shovels, and the sprinkling bowls. So Huram finished the work that he did for King Solomon in the house of God:
Nadělal také Chíram hrnců, lopat a kotlíků, a dokonal Chíram dílo, kteréž byl dělal králi Šalomounovi k domu Božímu.
12 the two pillars, the bowl-like capitals that were on top of the two pillars, and the two sets of decorative latticework to cover the two bowl-like capitals that were on top of the pillars.
Dva sloupy a kruhy, makovice také na vrchu těch dvou sloupů, a mřežování dvoje, aby přikrývalo ty dvě makovice okrouhlé, kteréž byly na vrchu sloupů,
13 He had made the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of decorative latticework: two rows of pomegranates for each set of latticework to cover the two bowl-like capitals that were on the pillars.
A jablek zrnatých čtyři sta na dvojím mřežování. Dvěma řady jablka zrnatá byla na mřežování jednom, aby přikrývala ty dvě makovice okrouhlé, kteréž byly na vrchu sloupů.
14 He also made the stands and the basins to go on the stands;
Podstavky také zdělal, a umyvadla na těch podstavcích.
15 one sea and the twelve bulls under it,
Moře jedno, a volů dvanácte pod ním.
16 also the pots, shovels, meat forks, and all the other implements that Huram-Abi made of polished bronze for King Solomon, for the house of Yahweh.
Též hrnce a lopaty a vidličky třírohé, a všecko nádobí jejich zdělal Chíram s otcem svým králi Šalomounovi k domu Hospodinovu z mědi přečisté.
17 The king had cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
Na rovinách Jordánských sléval to král v zemi jilovaté, mezi Sochot a Saredata.
18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance; indeed, the weight of the bronze could not be known.
A tak nadělal Šalomoun všech těch nádob velmi mnoho, tak že váhy té mědi vyhledáváno nebylo.
19 Solomon made all the furnishings that were in the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables on which the bread of the presence was to be placed;
Zdělal také Šalomoun i jiná všelijaká nádobí k domu Božímu, jako oltář zlatý a stoly, na nichž kladeni byli chlebové předložení,
20 the lampstands with their lamps, that were designed to burn before the inner room—these were made of pure gold;
Tolikéž svícny i lampy jejich z zlata nejčistšího, aby je rozsvěcovali příslušně před svatyní svatých,
21 and the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, pure gold.
Květy také a lampy i utěradla z zlata, a to bylo zlato nejvýbornější.
22 Also the lamp trimmers, basins, spoons, and incense burners were all made of pure gold. As for the entrance into the house, its inner doors into the most holy place and the doors of the house, that is, of the temple, were made of gold.
I žaltáře a kotlíky, kadidlnice a nádoby k oharkům z zlata čistého, k tomu i bránu domu, dvéře vnitřní svatyně svatých, i dvéře domu, totiž v chrámě, byly z zlata.
