< 2 Chronicles 27 >

1 Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jerushah; she was the daughter of Zadok.
Niroapolo taoñe lim’ amby t’Iotame te niorotse nifehe, le nifehe folo-taoñe eneñ’ amby e Ierosalaime ao; Ierosà, ana’ i Tsadoke, ty tahinan-drene’e;
2 He did what was right in the eyes of Yahweh, following the example of his father, Uzziah, in everything. He also refrained from going into the temple of Yahweh. But the people were still behaving in evil ways.
le nanao ty fahiti’e am-pihaino’ Iehovà, an-tsatan-drae’e Ozià iaby; f’ie tsy nimoak’ an-kiboho’ Iehovà ao. Fe mbe nitolon-kaloloañe avao ondatio.
3 He built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh, and on the hill of Ophel he built much.
Namboare’e ty lalambey ambone’ i anjomba’ Iehovày, le natratrañahe’e ty kijoli’ i Ofele.
4 Moreover he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.
Mbore namboare’e rova am-bohibohi’ Iehoda añe naho toetse fatratse reke-pitalakesañ’abo añ’àla ao.
5 He fought also with the king of the people of Ammon and defeated them. In that same year, the people of Ammon gave him one hundred talents of silver, ten thousand measures of wheat, ten thousand measures of barley. The people of Ammon gave him the same in the second and third years.
Nialia’e i mpanjaka’ o ana’ i Amoneoy vaho nahareketse. Nandroroñe talenta volafoty zato ama’e amy taoñey o ana’ i Amoneo naho fañaranam-bare-bolè rai-ale naho vare-hordea rai-ale. Mira amy zay ty nandroroña’ o ana’ i Amoneo aze amy taom-paharoe naho taom-pahateloy.
6 So Jotham became powerful because he walked firmly before Yahweh his God.
Aa le nihafatratse t’Iotame, amy te nalaha’e añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’e o lia’eo.
7 As for the other matters concerning Jotham, all his wars, and his ways, see, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
Aa naho o fitoloña’ Iotame ila’eo, o ali’e iabio naho o sata’eo, oniño te sinokitse amy bokem-panjaka’ Israele naho Iehodày.
8 He was twenty-five years old when he began to reign; he reigned for sixteen years in Jerusalem.
Roapolo taoñe lim’ amby re te niorotse nifehe le nifehe folo taoñe eneñ’amby e Ierosalaime ao.
9 Jotham slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in the city of David. Ahaz, his son, became king in his place.
Le nitrao-piròtse aman-droae’e naho nalenteke an-drova’ i Davide ao vaho nandimbe aze nifehe t’i Ahkaze ana’e.
