1 Timothy 6
1 Let all who are under the yoke as slaves regard their own masters as worthy of all honor. They should do this so that the name of God and the teaching might not be blasphemed.
யாவந்தோ லோகா யுக³தா⁴ரிணோ தா³ஸா: ஸந்தி தே ஸ்வஸ்வஸ்வாமிநம்’ பூர்ணஸமாத³ரயோக்³யம்’ மந்யந்தாம்’ நோ சேத்³ ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய நாம்ந உபதே³ஸ²ஸ்ய ச நிந்தா³ ஸம்ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
2 The slaves who have believing masters should not disrespect them because they are brothers. Instead, they should serve them all the more. For the masters who are helped by their work are believers and are loved. Teach and declare these things.
யேஷாஞ்ச ஸ்வாமிநோ விஸ்²வாஸிந: ப⁴வந்தி தைஸ்தே ப்⁴ராத்ரு’த்வாத் நாவஜ்ஞேயா: கிந்து தே கர்ம்மப²லபோ⁴கி³நோ விஸ்²வாஸிந: ப்ரியாஸ்²ச ப⁴வந்தீதி ஹேதோ: ஸேவநீயா ஏவ, த்வம் ஏதாநி ஸி²க்ஷய ஸமுபதி³ஸ² ச|
3 If anyone teaches something that does not agree with the reliable instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching,
ய: கஸ்²சித்³ இதரஸி²க்ஷாம்’ கரோதி, அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஹிதவாக்யாநீஸ்²வரப⁴க்தே ர்யோக்³யாம்’ ஸி²க்ஷாஞ்ச ந ஸ்வீகரோதி
4 he is proud and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and arguments about words that result in envy, strife, insults, evil suspicions,
ஸ த³ர்பத்⁴மாத: ஸர்வ்வதா² ஜ்ஞாநஹீநஸ்²ச விவாதை³ ர்வாக்³யுத்³தை⁴ஸ்²ச ரோக³யுக்தஸ்²ச ப⁴வதி|
5 and constant conflict between people with depraved minds. They have lost the truth and they think that godliness is a way to get more money.
தாத்³ரு’ஸா²த்³ பா⁴வாத்³ ஈர்ஷ்யாவிரோதா⁴பவாத³து³ஷ்டாஸூயா ப்⁴ரஷ்டமநஸாம்’ ஸத்யஜ்ஞாநஹீநாநாம் ஈஸ்²வரப⁴க்திம்’ லாபோ⁴பாயம் இவ மந்யமாநாநாம்’ லோகாநாம்’ விவாதா³ஸ்²ச ஜாயந்தே தாத்³ரு’ஸே²ப்⁴யோ லோகேப்⁴யஸ்த்வம்’ ப்ரு’த²க் திஷ்ட²|
6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain.
ஸம்’யதேச்ச²யா யுக்தா யேஸ்²வரப⁴க்தி: ஸா மஹாலாபோ⁴பாயோ ப⁴வதீதி ஸத்யம்’|
7 For we have brought nothing into the world. Neither are we able to take out anything.
ஏதஜ்ஜக³த்ப்ரவேஸ²நகாலே(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴: கிமபி நாநாயி தத்தயஜநகாலே(அ)பி கிமபி நேதும்’ ந ஸ²க்ஷ்யத இதி நிஸ்²சிதம்’|
8 Instead, let us be satisfied with food and clothing.
அதஏவ கா²த்³யாந்யாச்சா²த³நாநி ச ப்ராப்யாஸ்மாபி⁴: ஸந்துஷ்டை ர்ப⁴விதவ்யம்’|
9 Now those who want to become wealthy fall into temptation, into a trap. They fall into many foolish and harmful passions, and into whatever else makes people sink into ruin and destruction.
யே து த⁴நிநோ ப⁴விதும்’ சேஷ்டந்தே தே பரீக்ஷாயாம் உந்மாதே² பதந்தி யே சாபி⁴லாஷா மாநவாந் விநாஸே² நரகே ச மஜ்ஜயந்தி தாத்³ரு’ஸே²ஷ்வஜ்ஞாநாஹிதாபி⁴லாஷேஷ்வபி பதந்தி|
10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people who desire it have been mislead away from the faith and have pierced themselves with much grief.
யதோ(அ)ர்த²ஸ்ப்ரு’ஹா ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ து³ரிதாநாம்’ மூலம்’ ப⁴வதி தாமவலம்ப்³ய கேசித்³ விஸ்²வாஸாத்³ அப்⁴ரம்’ஸ²ந்த நாநாக்லேஸை²ஸ்²ச ஸ்வாந் அவித்⁴யந்|
11 But you, man of God, flee from these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faithfulness, love, endurance, and gentleness.
ஹே ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய லோக த்வம் ஏதேப்⁴ய: பலாய்ய த⁴ர்ம்ம ஈஸ்²வரப⁴க்தி ர்விஸ்²வாஸ: ப்ரேம ஸஹிஷ்ணுதா க்ஷாந்திஸ்²சைதாந்யாசர|
12 Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the everlasting life to which you were called, and about which you gave the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
விஸ்²வாஸரூபம் உத்தமயுத்³த⁴ம்’ குரு, அநந்தஜீவநம் ஆலம்ப³ஸ்வ யதஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ த்வம் ஆஹூதோ (அ)ப⁴வ: , ப³ஹுஸாக்ஷிணாம்’ ஸமக்ஷஞ்சோத்தமாம்’ ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாம்’ ஸ்வீக்ரு’தவாந்| (aiōnios g166)
13 I give you this command before God, who causes all things to live, and before Christ Jesus, who spoke what is true to Pontius Pilate:
அபரம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஜீவயிதுரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ யஸ்²ச க்²ரீஷ்டோ யீஸு²: பந்தீயபீலாதஸ்ய ஸமக்ஷம் உத்தமாம்’ ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாம்’ ஸ்வீக்ரு’தவாந் தஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ அஹம்’ த்வாம் இத³ம் ஆஜ்ஞாபயாமி|
14 Keep the commandment without spot or blame until the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ஈஸ்²வரேண ஸ்வஸமயே ப்ரகாஸி²தவ்யம் அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யாக³மநம்’ யாவத் த்வயா நிஷ்கலங்கத்வேந நிர்த்³தோ³ஷத்வேந ச விதீ⁴ ரக்ஷ்யதாம்’|
15 God will reveal Christ's appearing at the right time—God, the blessed and only Sovereign, the King who reigns and the Lord who rules.
ஸ ஈஸ்²வர: ஸச்சிதா³நந்த³: , அத்³விதீயஸம்ராட், ராஜ்ஞாம்’ ராஜா, ப்ரபூ⁴நாம்’ ப்ரபு⁴: ,
16 Only he has immortality and dwells in inapproachable light. No man sees him or is able to view him. To him be honor and eternal power. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
அமரதாயா அத்³விதீய ஆகர: , அக³ம்யதேஜோநிவாஸீ, மர்த்த்யாநாம்’ கேநாபி ந த்³ரு’ஷ்ட: கேநாபி ந த்³ரு’ஸ்²யஸ்²ச| தஸ்ய கௌ³ரவபராக்ரமௌ ஸதா³தநௌ பூ⁴யாஸ்தாம்’| ஆமேந்| (aiōnios g166)
17 Tell the rich in this world not to be proud, and not to hope in riches, which are uncertain. Instead, they should hope in God. He offers to us all the true riches to enjoy. (aiōn g165)
இஹலோகே யே த⁴நிநஸ்தே சித்தஸமுந்நதிம்’ சபலே த⁴நே விஸ்²வாஸஞ்ச ந குர்வ்வதாம்’ கிந்து போ⁴கா³ர்த²ம் அஸ்மப்⁴யம்’ ப்ரசுரத்வேந ஸர்வ்வதா³தா (aiōn g165)
18 Tell them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, and willing to share.
யோ(அ)மர ஈஸ்²வரஸ்தஸ்மிந் விஸ்²வஸந்து ஸதா³சாரம்’ குர்வ்வந்து ஸத்கர்ம்மத⁴நேந த⁴நிநோ ஸுகலா தா³தாரஸ்²ச ப⁴வந்து,
19 In that way, they will store up for themselves a good foundation for what is to come, so that they will take hold of real life.
யதா² ச ஸத்யம்’ ஜீவநம்’ பாப்நுயுஸ்ததா² பாரத்ரிகாம் உத்தமஸம்பத³ம்’ ஸஞ்சிந்வந்த்வேதி த்வயாதி³ஸ்²யந்தாம்’|
20 Timothy, protect what was given to you. Avoid the foolish talk and conflicting ideas of what is falsely called knowledge.
ஹே தீமதி²ய, த்வம் உபநிதி⁴ம்’ கோ³பய கால்பநிகவித்³யாயா அபவித்ரம்’ ப்ரலாபம்’ விரோதோ⁴க்திஞ்ச த்யஜ ச,
21 Some men proclaim these things and so they have missed the faith. May grace be with you.
யத: கதிபயா லோகாஸ்தாம்’ வித்³யாமவலம்ப்³ய விஸ்²வாஸாத்³ ப்⁴ரஷ்டா அப⁴வந| ப்ரஸாத³ஸ்தவ ஸஹாயோ பூ⁴யாத்| ஆமேந்|
