< 1 Timothy 2 >
1 Therefore first of all, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,
Hanchu, amotontaka, ngênna chubaithonangei, invûinangei, le râisânchong rilnangei hih mingei murdi ta rangin Pathien kôm pêk pe ngei rangin nangni ke ngêna;
2 for kings and all who are in authority, in order that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.
rêngngei le adang rachamnei ngei murdi ta rang khom, dâiriem le inngêitaka Pathien tienga mân thona murdi le nunchan diktak leh ringnun manga ei om theina rangin.
3 This is good and acceptable before God our savior.
Mahi asa, le Pathien mi Sanminringpu râisân ruo piel ania:
4 He desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
ama'n mi murdi sanminringa an om rang le chongtak an riet rangin a nuom ngâi ani.
5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator for God and man, the man Christ Jesus.
Pathien hih inkhat vai aoma, male Pathien le miriemngei minchunpu inkhat vai aom nôka, miriem Khrista Jisua hah,
6 He gave himself as a ransom for all, as the testimony at the right time.
miriem jât pumpui ratanna ranga ân pêkpu hah ani. Maha Pathien'n mi murdi sanminring rangin a nuom ti azora taka riet minthâr ani,
7 For this purpose, I myself, was made a herald and an apostle. I am telling the truth. I am not lying. I am a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
male masika han kêng keima hi taksônna le chongtak thurchi phuong rangin, Jentailngei kôm tîrton le minchupua tîr ki ni. Milak tho mu unga; chongtak kêng ki ril!
8 Therefore, I want men in every place to pray and to lift up holy hands without anger or arguing.
Koiindang inkhôm tina pasal Pathiena ânpêk ngeiin an kut inthieng ngei pharin, takminsi loiin le inkhal loiin chubaitho senla ngei ku nuom ani.
9 Likewise, I want the women to dress themselves in proper clothing, with modesty and self-control. They should not have braided hair, or gold, or pearls, or expensive clothing.
Ma angdênin, nupangngei khom sillebomngei ahundôr le satak le balam takin invo senla ngeia, samphierin mini, rângkachakin mini, lungmantamin mini, rovo mantamin mini invo no rese ngei ku nuom sa,
10 I want them to dress with what is appropriate for women who profess godliness through good works.
hannirese, nupang sakhuotienga mi inti ngei ha chu an inhoi lam takin sin sân invo rese ngei.
11 A woman should learn in silence and with all submission.
Nupangngei chu dâirekin le rangâiinchîna murdi'n an inchu rang ani.
12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man, but to live in quietness.
Mi minchu rangin mini, aninônchu pasal chunga rachamnei rangin mini phal mu unga; an dâirek ngêt rang ani.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
Asikchu Adam hah sin bak ania, male kêng Eve hah sin ani.
14 Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
Male huonga om hah Adam nimaka; nupang ha ke huongin aoma, Pathien balam a siet ani.
15 However, she will be saved through bearing children, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with soundness of mind.
Aniatachu nupang hah nâingei a neina sikin sanminringin om atih, taksônna le lungkhamna male inthiengna ngei leh inpâkpuiloiin duoiloiin a tuongdier ngâiin chu.
