< 1 Timothy 1 >

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior and Christ Jesus our hope,
Ik'o no atoke no nojangtso Iyesus Krstos tzaziyon woshek wottso P'awlosoke.
2 to Timothy, a true son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
Imnetiyon ari t naayi wottso T'imotiyossh, Ik'o nonihokere, nodoonz Iyesus Krstosoke s'aatonat mihretiyonu, jenonu neesh wotowe.
3 As I urged you to do when I was leaving for Macedonia, remain in Ephesus so that you can command certain people not to teach a different doctrine.
Mek'edoniy maants tiamor neesh oona ti ettsok'on, manoke fa'a ash ik ikuwots kooti dano bodanirawok'o nwoshish Efesonitse beewe.
4 Neither should they pay attention to stories and endless genealogies. These cause arguments rather than helping the plan of God, which is by faith.
Tururonat s'uu deshaw naar taawo maants k'ayr boanerawok'o boon azazowe, keewanots moosha bodoweti bako amanon fineyiru Ik'i finosh t'ak'ameratsnee.
5 Now the goal of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith.
Tzaziyanmó nib s'ayinotse, asaabi s'ayinon, arik wotts amanon daatsets shunoniye.
6 Some people have missed the mark and have turned away from these things to foolish talk.
Ik ik ashuwots keewanotsatse k'aleyat k'awunts deshaw moosho maants k'az anernee.
7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not understand what they are saying or what they so confidently affirm.
Man bok'aluwere nemo daniyruwotsi woto geeyatniye, wotowabako bokeewiruwo danatsne, arkeewetsnone boetirwono t'iwintsratsne.
8 But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully.
Asho geyitsok'on bín b́finiyal nemo sheeng b́wottsok'o danfone.
9 We know this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for a lawless and rebellious people, for ungodly people and sinners, and for those who are godless and profane. It is made for those who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers,
Mank'owa nemo ned'iye ash kááwuwots b́woterawk'o danfone, nemo beeze mishetswotsnat k'uur finetsuwotsshe, Ik'osh k'erawwotsnat morr finetsuwotsshe, s'ayin woterawwotsnat kash keewo gac'iruwotsshe, bonihonat bo indon úd'iru kash úd'iruwots,
10 for sexually immoral people, for homosexuals, for those who kidnap people for slaves, for liars, for false witnesses, and for whatever else is against faithful instruction.
Widetswotsna, g'ad'wotsnat, asho up'dek'amt kemiru jaktswotsnat kootetswotsi, kooton taarirwotsnat arik wotts dano k'uriru keew jamo finiruwotsshe.
11 This instruction is according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God with which I have been entrusted.
Arik wotts danonmó b́ daatset mangiyets Ik'o b́ shishits mangts doo shishiyone, doo shishiyanwere taash adar imetsoniyee.
12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord. He strengthened me, for he considered me faithful, and he placed me into service.
Finosh taan amanetso woshde naashiyosh taawdek't imtso nodoonz Iyesus Krstosi udirwe.
13 I was a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a violent man. But I received mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief.
Dab haniyere shin Krstosi c'ashtsonat gishtso, ketitso twotiyalor, bí taash mhretiyo b́woshi, bíwere taash mhretiyan b́wosh taa jaman t k'al daronat aman tk'aztsatse tuutson b́ teshtsotsne.
14 But the grace of our Lord overflowed with faith and love that is in Christ Jesus.
Noo Ik'o s'aato Iyesus Krstosn nok wotts imnetiyonat t shunonton s'eent ooytso taash imere.
15 This message is reliable and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. I am the worst of these.
«Iyesus Krstos morr finetswotsi kashiwosh datsats waare» etiru aap'o arikonat ash jamo dek'o bin b́ geyit keewe, morrets jamuwotsitsnor bítsi bog morretso taane.
16 But for this reason I was given mercy, so that in me, the foremost, Christ Jesus might demonstrate all patience. He did this as an example for those who would trust in him for eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Ernmó taash mihretiyow oshere, taash mhretiyo woshere Iyesus Krstos ayidek't ayts b́ k'amoon ashe dash morretso wottsosh tiatse kitsosh bín amanitsuwotsnat dúre dúri kash datsituwotssh sheeng artso t wotishee. (aiōnios g166)
17 Now to the king of the ages, the immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Mansh dúre dúri Nugúsosh, k'irrawosh, be'erawosh, Ik'o Izar Izewersh mangonat udon bísh dúre dúrosh wotowe! Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 I am placing this command before you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that you might fight the good fight,
T naayi T'imotiwoso! haniyere shin njangosh bek'on keewetsok'on azazets adaranotsi neesh imetuwe, bek'mann jisheyar kes'i sheengo kec'ee,
19 holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have shipwrecked their faith.
Amanonat maac' s'ayinetso wotowe, ash ik ikuwots bonibo bojuutsatse tuutson markabo jongon b́t'ffok'o bo imnetiyo t'afs'uure.
20 Such are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I gave over to Satan so that they may be taught not to blaspheme.
Boyitse Hemenewosnat t Iskndrn fa'enee, boowere Ik' c'ash aap'o keewo k'azo bo danetwok'o Shed'anosh beshidek'at imik'rere.
