1 Kings 5
1 Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon for he had heard that they had anointed him king in place of his father; for Hiram had always loved David.
১যেতিয়া তূৰৰ ৰজা হীৰমে চলোমনক তেওঁৰ পিতৃৰ সলনি ৰজা অভিষেক কৰাৰ কথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ চলোমনৰ ওচৰলৈ নিজৰ দাসবোৰক পঠিয়াই দিলে; কিয়নো চলোমনৰ পিতৃ দায়ূদৰ সৈতে তূৰৰ ৰজা হীৰমৰ সদায় বন্ধুত্ব আছিল।
2 Solomon sent word to Hiram, saying,
২তেতিয়া চলোমনে হীৰমলৈ কৈ পঠিয়ালে,
3 “You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of Yahweh his God because of the wars that surrounded him, for during his lifetime Yahweh was putting his enemies under the soles of his feet.
৩“আপুনি জানে যে, মোৰ পিতৃ দায়ূদে তেওঁৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ নামৰ উদ্দেশে গৃহ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিব নোৱাৰিলে; কিয়নো যেতিয়ালৈকে যিহোৱাই তেওঁৰ শত্ৰুবোৰক ভৰিৰ তল নকৰিলে, তেতিয়ালৈকে তেওঁৰ চাৰিওফালে যুদ্ধ হৈ আছিল।
4 But now, Yahweh my God has given me rest on every side. There is neither adversary nor disaster.
৪কিন্তু এতিয়া মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই সকলো ফালে মোক বিশ্ৰাম দিছে৷ এতিয়া কোনো শত্ৰুও নাই আৰু কোনো ধৰণৰ আপদ ঘটা নাই।
5 So I intend to build a temple for the name of Yahweh my God, as Yahweh spoke to David my father, saying, 'Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, will build the temple for my name.'
৫গতিকে মই মোৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ নামৰ উদ্দেশ্যে এটি গৃহ সাজিবলৈ মন কৰিছোঁ, মোৰ পিতৃ দায়ূদৰ আগত যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছিল, ‘মই তোমাৰ পদত তোমাৰ যিজন পুত্ৰক সিংহাসনত বহুৱাম, তেৱেঁই মোৰ নামৰ উদ্দেশ্যে গৃহ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিব।’
6 Now therefore command that they cut cedars from Lebanon for me. My servants will join your servants, and I will pay you for your servants so that you are paid fairly for everything you agreed to do. For you know there is no one among us who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians.”
৬এই হেতুকে আপুনি এতিয়া আপোনাৰ লোকসকলক মোৰ বাবে লিবানোনৰ পৰা এৰচ কাঠ কাটি আনিবলৈ আজ্ঞা কৰক৷ মোৰ দাসবোৰ আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰৰ লগত যোগদান কৰিব আৰু আপুনি যি ক’ব, সেইদৰেই মই আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰৰ দিবলগীয়া বেচ আপোনাক দিম। কিয়নো আপুনি জানে যে, চীদোনীয়াসকলৰ দৰে কাঠ কাটিব জনা মানুহ আমাৰ মাজত নাই।”
7 When Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly and said, “May Yahweh be blessed today, who has given to David a wise son over this great people.”
৭তেতিয়া হীৰমে চলোমনৰ এই কথা শুনি বৰ আনন্দিত হৈ ক’লে, “যিজন সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বৰে সেই মহান জাতিৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ব কৰিবলৈ দায়ূদক এজন জ্ঞানী পুত্ৰ দান কৰিলে, আজি সেই যিহোৱা ধন্য।”
8 Hiram sent word to Solomon, saying, “I have heard the message that you have sent to me. I will provide all the wood of cedar and cypress that you desire.
৮পাছত হীৰমে চলোমনৰ ওচৰলৈ কৈ পঠিয়ালে, “আপুনি মোলৈ পঠিউৱা বাৰ্তা মই শুনিলোঁ৷ মই এৰচ কাঠ আৰু দেৱদাৰু কাঠৰ বিষয়ে আপোনাৰ মনৰ সকলো বাঞ্ছা সিদ্ধ কৰিম।
9 My servants will bring the trees down from Lebanon to the sea, and I will make them into rafts to go by sea to the place that you direct me. I will have them broken up there, and you will take them away. You will do what I desire by giving food for my household.”
৯মোৰ দাসবোৰে লিবানোনৰ পৰা সেইবোৰ নমাই সাগৰলৈ আনিব আৰু মই ভূৰ বান্ধি সমূদ্ৰপথে আপুনি নিৰ্দেশ দিয়া ঠাইলৈ পঠিয়াই দিম৷ সেই ঠাইত ভূৰ মেলিলে আপুনি সেইবোৰ লৈ যাব৷ আৰু মোৰো বাঞ্ছা সিদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ আপুনি মোৰ লোকসকলৰ বাবে খোৱা বস্তুৰ যোগান ধৰিব৷”
10 So Hiram gave Solomon all the timber of cedar and fir that he desired.
১০এইদৰে হীৰমে চলোমনৰ মনৰ বাঞ্ছাৰ দৰে সকলো এৰচ আৰু দেৱদাৰু কাঠ দিলে।
11 Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household and twenty measures of pure oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year.
১১চলোমনে হীৰমৰ লোকসকলৰ বাবে আহাৰৰ যোগান ধৰিবলৈ তেওঁক বিশ হাজাৰ কোৰ ঘেঁহু ধান আৰু বিশ কোৰ শুদ্ধ তেল দিলে৷ এইদৰে চলোমনে বছৰে বছৰে হীৰমক দিলে।
12 Yahweh gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him. There was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a covenant.
১২যিহোৱাই নিজ প্ৰতিজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে চলোমনক জ্ঞান দিলে৷ হীৰম আৰু চলোমন, দুয়োৰে মাজত এক শান্তিপ্ৰিয় ভাব আছিল আৰু তেওঁলোক দুয়োজনে এটি নিয়ম স্থাপন কৰিছিল।
13 King Solomon conscripted labor out of all Israel. The forced laborers numbered thirty thousand men.
১৩পাছত চলোমন ৰজাই গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজৰ পৰা বাধ্যতামূলকভাৱে বন্দী-কাম কৰিবলৈ মানুহ গোটালে; সেই গোট খোৱা লোক ত্ৰিশ হাজাৰ হ’ল।
14 He sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month in shifts. One month they were in Lebanon and two months at home. Adoniram was over the men who were subjected to forced labor.
১৪তেওঁ মাহেকীয়া পালক্ৰমে সিহঁতৰ দহ হাজাৰ লোকক লিবানোনলৈ পঠিয়ায়৷ সিহঁত এমাহ এমাহ লিবানোনত থাকে আৰু দুমাহ নিজ ঠাইত থাকে৷
15 Solomon had seventy thousand who carried burdens and eighty thousand who were stonecutters in the mountains,
১৫চলোমনৰ সত্তৰ হাজাৰ ভাৰ বোৱা আৰু আশী হাজাৰ শিল-কটিয়া লোক পৰ্ব্বতত আছিল।
16 besides Solomon's 3,300 chief officers who were over the work and who supervised the workers.
১৬তাৰ বাহিৰেও কাম কৰা লোকসকলক তদাৰক কৰিবলৈ তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত চলোমনৰ তিনি হাজাৰ তিনি শ প্ৰধান বিষয়া আছিল।
17 At the king's command they quarried large stones of high quality with which to lay the foundation of the temple.
১৭ৰজাৰ আজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে গৃহৰ ভিত্তিমূল স্থাপন কৰিবলৈ শিলৰ খনিৰ পৰা তেওঁলোকে কটা বৰ বৰ উন্নত প্ৰকাৰৰ শিলবোৰ কাটি আনিছিল।
18 So Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders and the Gebalites did the cutting and prepared the timber and the stones to build the temple.
১৮চলোমন আৰু হীৰমৰ ঘৰ-সজীয়া লোকসকল আৰু গিবলীয়া লোকসকলে সেইবোৰ শিল কাটিলে, আৰু এইদৰে সিহঁতে গৃহ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰিবলৈ কাঠ আৰু শিলো যুগুত কৰিলে।
