< 1 Corinthians 9 >

1 Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my workmanship in the Lord?
Keima sia sawltak khat hi ngawl khi ziam? a suakta khat hi ngawl khi ziam? i Topa Jesus Christ mu zo hi ngawl khi ziam? note sia Topa sung ah ka nasep hi ngawl nu ziam?
2 If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you. For you are the proof of my apostleship in the Lord.
Ngual dang te tung ah sawltak khat ka hi ngawl hang, note tung ah uplak tu om ngawl in sawltak khat ka hihi: banghangziam cile note sia Topa sung ah sawltak ka hina ceptena na hi uh hi.
3 This is my defense to those who examine me:
Keima thu a sittel te tung ah hibang in ka zo hi,
4 Do we not have the right to eat and drink?
Kote in ne tu le dawn tu in thuneina nei ngawl khu ziam?
5 Do we not have the right to take along with us a wife who is a believer, as do the rest of the apostles, and the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas?
Peter, Topa suapui te le sawltak dang te bangma in suapui nu, zi te ken thei na thu nei ngawl khu ziam?
6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who must work?
Ahi bale, keima le Barnabas bek in naseam ngawl in om thei natu thuneina nei ngawl khu ziam?
7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat its fruit? Or who tends a flock and does not drink milk from it?
Akua in ama sum zang in ngalsim ngei ziam? sapit cing a, a nga ne ngawl akua om ziam? a hibale tuucing a, tuu noai ne ngawl akua om ziam?
8 Do I say these things based on human authority? Does not the law also say this?
Hi thu te sia mihing bang in ka pau ahi ziam? a hibale thukham zong in hibangma in hong hil hi ngawl ziam?
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, “Do not put a muzzle on an ox when it is treading out the grain.” Is it really the oxen that God cares about?
Banghangziam cile Moses thukham sung ah, tang a cil khuital sia a kam tuamsak heak vun, ci in ki at hi. Pathian in khuital te a thinbot a hi ziam?
10 Is he not speaking about us? It was written for us, because the one who plows should plow in hope, and the one who threshes should thresh in the expectation of sharing in the harvest.
Ahi bale eite theampo atu in a son ziam? Eite atu hi, ci uplak tu om ngawl hi, lo tho pa in lametna taw tho tu a; lametna taw tangcil pa in zong a lametna bang in nga tu hi, ci in ki at hi.
11 If we sowed spiritual things among you, is it too much for us to reap material things from you?
Kote in note tung ah thaa lam thu te ka cing uh a, note i cilesa thu te ka at uh le tua thu sia bang thupitna nei tu ziam?
12 If others exercised this right from you, do we not have even more? But we did not claim this right. Instead we endured everything rather than be a hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
Ngual dang te in note tung pan nga tu in note tung ah thuneina a nei le, kote in nei zawkan tu hi ngawl khu ziam? Ahizong hi thuneina ka zang ngei bua uh hi; Christ i lungdamna thupha ka khak ngawl natu in, na theampo ka thuak uh hi.
13 Do you not know that those who serve in the temple get their food from the temple? Do you not know that those who serve at the altar share in what is offered on the altar?
A thiangtho nate atu in naseam khat sia biakinn sung nate taw kivak hi, ci he ngawl nu ziam? taciang biaktau a naseam te zong biaktau tung a nate a sang te hi ngawl ziam?
14 In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living from the gospel.
Tasia bangma in lungdamna thupha a hil te zong lungdamna thupha taw ki vak tu in Pathian in ciangtan zo hi.
15 But I have not claimed any of these rights. And I do not write this so something might be done for me. I would rather die than anyone deprive me of this boast.
Ahihang hi thuneina te khat zong ka zang ngei bua uh hi: ka tung ah na vawt tu uh ka deina hang in kong at zong hi ngawl hi: banghangziam cile mi khatpo in ka ki suantakna hong thusimsak ngawl tu sang in thi leng pha ka sa zaw hi.
16 For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason for boasting, because I must do this. And woe be to me if I do not preach the gospel!
Banghangziam cile lungdamna thuhil ka hihang, ki suantak natu bangma ka nei bua hi: banghangziam cile hil ngawl in ka om thei bua hi; lungdamna thupha ka hil bua ahile, hamsiatna ka tung ah hong om hi!
17 For if I do this willingly, I have a reward. But if not willingly, I still have a responsibility that was entrusted to me.
Bahangziam cile keima uk thu in ka seam le, thaman ka nei hi: ahihang keima deina taw a ki langpan ahile lungdamna thupha keamcing pa hi na sia keima hong ap hi.
18 What then is my reward? That when I preach, I may offer the gospel without charge and so not take full use of my right in the gospel.
Tabang ahile ka thaman sia bang ziam? Lungdamna thupha ka hil ciang in Christ lungdamna thupha sia man ngen ngawl in ka hil tu a, tabang in lungdamna thupha sung ah ka thuneina a valkai in ka zang batu hi.
19 For though I am free from all, I became a servant to all, in order that I might win more.
Banghangziam cile keima sia mi theampo tung pan in a suakta mi hi napi, mihing a tam mama ka nga thei natu in, keima le keima sia mi theampo te i sal in ka ki vawt hi.
20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law, I became like one under the law in order to win those under the law. I did this even though I myself was not under the law.
Taciang Judah mite ka nga thei natu in Judah mite kung ah Judah mi bang in ka om hi, taciang thukham i nuai ah a om te ka nga thei natu in, thukham nuai ah omte bang in ka om hi;
21 To those outside the law, I became like one outside the law, although I was not outside the law of God myself, but under the law of Christ. I did this so that I may win those outside the law.
Thukham nei ngawl te ka nga thei natu in, thukham nei ngawl bang in ka om hi, Pathian kung ah thukham nei ngawl hi ngawl in, Christ thukham nuai ah ka om hi.
22 To the weak I became weak, so that I may win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by all means save some.
Thaneam te ka nga thei natu in, thaneam bang in ka om hi: bangbangpo ahizong mi pawlkha te ka ngup thei natu in mi theampo kung ah na theampo ka suak hi.
23 I do all things for the gospel's sake, so that I may participate in its blessings.
Note taw a neikhawm te ka hi thei natu in, lungdamna thupha atu in hibang te ka vawt hi.
24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run the race, but that only one receives the prize? So run to win the prize.
Tai kidemna mun ah mi theampo tai napi, khat bek in tel nga hi, ci he ngawl nu ziam? Tua ahikom tel na nga thei natu uh in tai vun.
25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a wreath that is perishable, but we do it to receive one that is imperishable.
Kidem na mun ah a kihel mi khatsim in na theampo ah ki deak hi. Tu in amate in a vul thei tel lukhu nga tu in seam uh hi; ahihang eite sia a vul thei ngawl tel lukhu nga tu in i seam hi.
26 Therefore I do not run without purpose or box by beating the air.
Tua ahikom bangma he thiang ngawl bang in ka tai bua hi; taciang hui a thong pa bang in ka do bua hi:
27 But I subdue my body and make it a slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself may not be disqualified.
Ahihang bangbangpo ahizong ngualdang te tung ah thu ka hil zawkciang in, keima a lel ka hi kik bungle ngawl natu in, ka pumpi keamcing in ka uk hi.
