< 1 Corinthians 3 >
1 And I, brothers, could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as to fleshly people, as to little children in Christ.
Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃tɔwo, nyemete ŋu ƒo nu na mi abe ame siwo tsi le Gbɔgbɔ me ene o, ke boŋ abe vidzĩwo, ame siwo mede ŋgɔ le kristotɔnyenye ƒe agbenɔnɔ me o eye wogale agbe le ŋutilã me abe ame siwo menye kristotɔwo o ene.
2 I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it; and even now you are not yet ready.
Le esia ta nyemate ŋu ana nuɖuɖu sesẽ mi be miaɖu o, ke boŋ notsi ko mana mi elabena miaƒe dɔgbowo metsi atu nuɖuɖu sesẽ o.
3 For you are still fleshly. For where jealousy and strife exist among you, are you not living according to the flesh, and are you not walking by human standards?
Nu si tututu fia be mieganye ɖeviwo ko lae nye ale si miema ɖe hatsotso vovovowo me, eye dzre, ŋuʋaʋã kple liʋĩliʋĩlilĩ sɔŋ xɔ aƒe ɖe mia me.
4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” are you not living as human beings?
Mikpɔ ɖa, mia dometɔ aɖewo le gbɔgblɔm be, “Míawoe nye Paulo ƒe amewo,” bubuwo hã be, “Míawoe nye Apolo yomedzelawo,” ke ɖe miaƒe nuwɔna sia mesɔ kple ŋutilãmenɔnɔ tɔ oa?
5 Who then is Apollos? Who is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, to each of whom the Lord gave tasks.
Ke ame ka tututue nye Apolo alo nye Paulo ŋutɔ, be mianɔ dzre wɔm ɖe mía ta? Mawu ƒe dɔla maɖinu siwo wòna ŋutete tɔxɛ aɖewo ko míenye eye to míaƒe dɔwɔwɔwo me la, miexɔ Mawu dzi se.
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.
Dɔ si Mawu de asi nam koe nye be mado nuku la ɖe miaƒe dziwo me, eye Apolo hã ƒe dɔe nye be wòade tsi nukuawo. Ke Mawu ŋutɔe na be nukuawo tsi, eye wotse ku le miaƒe dziwo me.
7 So then, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything. But it is God who gives the growth.
8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own wages according to his own labor.
Nye kple Apolo la, dɔ ɖeka ma ke ko wɔm míele. Taɖodzinu ɖeka koe le mía si, ke Mawu axe fe na mía dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe le ale si wòdo vevi ɖe eƒe dɔ ŋu la nu.
9 For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's garden, God's building.
Mawu ƒe hadɔwɔlawo ko míenye, ke miawoe nye Mawu ƒe agble kple eƒe xɔ si wòtu, menye nye kple Apolo tɔwoe mienye o.
10 According to the grace of God that was given to me as a skilled master builder, I laid a foundation and another is building on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
11 For no one can lay a foundation other than the one that has been laid, that is, Jesus Christ.
Elabena ame aɖeke mate ŋu aɖo gɔmeɖokpe bubu aɖeke anyi si to vovo tso esi li xoxo, si nye Yesu Kristo la gbɔ o.
12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
Gake xɔtunu vovovowo li si woate ŋu atsɔ atu xɔe ɖe gɔmeɖokpe la dzi. Ame aɖewo tua xɔ kple sika, klosalo alo kpe xɔasi bubuwo, ame bubuwo hã tsɔa ati, aƒla alo be gɔ̃ hã tua xɔe.
13 his work will be revealed, for the daylight will reveal it. For it will be revealed in fire. The fire will test the quality of what each one had done.
Ke ele be ame sia ame naɖo ŋku edzi be ne Kristo ƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃ŋkeke la ɖo edzi la, woado xɔtunu vovovoawo kpɔ. Woatsɔ dzo ado ame sia ame ƒe dɔwɔna kpɔ, akpɔe ɖa be eƒe dɔ la anɔ te mahã?
14 If anyone's work remains, he will receive a reward;
Ame siwo ƒe dɔ mefia le dzo me o la axɔ woƒe fetu.
15 but if anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, as though escaping through fire.
Ke ne ame aɖe ƒe xɔ fia le dzoa me la ekema ebu nu gã aɖe gake woaɖe eya ŋutɔ abe ame si woɖe le dzo bibi me ene.
16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
Ɖe mienyae be Mawu ƒe xɔe mienye, eye Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ le mia me oa?
17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and so are you.
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a “fool” that he may become wise. (aiōn )
Mikpɔ nyuie be miaganɔ mia ɖokuiwo flum o. Ne mia dometɔ aɖe bu be yenyaa nu ŋutɔ le amewo ƒe nukpɔkpɔ nu la, ekema ele be wòawɔ eɖokui bometsilae hafi ate ŋu anye nunyala vavãtɔ tso dziƒo. (aiōn )
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.”
Elabena xexe sia me ƒe nunyawo katã nye bometsitsi le Mawu ƒe ŋkume. Abe ale si woŋlɔ ɖe Hiob ƒe agbalẽ me ene be, “Elé nunyalawo le woƒe ayemenuwɔwɔwo me.”
20 And again, “The Lord knows that the reasoning of the wise is futile.”
Wogagblɔe na mí le Psalmowo ƒe agbalẽ hã me be, “Aƒetɔ la nya be nunyalawo ƒe susuwo katã le wodzoe abe ɖetifu ko ene.”
21 For this reason, let no one boast in men. All things are yours,
Eya ta nɔviwo, miganɔ dadam ɖe amegbetɔ dzi o! Nuwo katã nye mia tɔ,
22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All things are yours,
23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
eye mienye Kristo tɔ, ale Kristo hã nye Mawu tɔ.
