< 1 Corinthians 3 >

1 And I, brothers, could not speak to you as spiritual people, but instead as to fleshly people, as to little children in Christ.
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in the Messiah.
2 I fed you milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it; and even now you are not yet ready.
I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3 For you are still fleshly. For where jealousy and strife exist among you, are you not living according to the flesh, and are you not walking by human standards?
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
4 For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another says, “I follow Apollos,” are you not living as human beings?
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
5 Who then is Apollos? Who is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, to each of whom the Lord gave tasks.
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as YHWH gave to every man?
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.
I have planted, Apollos watered; but YHWH gave the increase.
7 So then, neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything. But it is God who gives the growth.
So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but YHWH that giveth the increase.
8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own wages according to his own labor.
Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
9 For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's garden, God's building.
For we are labourers together with YHWH: ye are YHWH 's husbandry, ye are YHWH 's building.
10 According to the grace of God that was given to me as a skilled master builder, I laid a foundation and another is building on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it.
According to the favour of YHWH which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For no one can lay a foundation other than the one that has been laid, that is, Jesus Christ.
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Yahushua the Messiah.
12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw,
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 his work will be revealed, for the daylight will reveal it. For it will be revealed in fire. The fire will test the quality of what each one had done.
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If anyone's work remains, he will receive a reward;
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 but if anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, as though escaping through fire.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
16 Do you not know that you are God's temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you?
Know ye not that ye are the temple of YHWH, and that the Spirit of YHWH dwelleth in you?
17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person. For God's temple is holy, and so are you.
If any man defile the temple of YHWH, him shall YHWH destroy; for the temple of YHWH is holy, which temple ye are.
18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a “fool” that he may become wise. (aiōn g165)
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their craftiness.”
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with YHWH. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
20 And again, “The Lord knows that the reasoning of the wise is futile.”
And again, YHWH knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
21 For this reason, let no one boast in men. All things are yours,
Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come. All things are yours,
Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Kepha, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
23 and you are Christ's, and Christ is God's.
And ye are the Messiah's; and the Messiah is YHWH 's.
