< 1 Corinthians 11 >
1 Be imitators of me, just as I am an imitator of Christ.
Christ i nuntakna ka zui bang in, note zong ka nuntakdan hong zui tavun.
2 Now I praise you because you remember me in everything. I praise you because you hold fast to the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
Tu in suapui te awng, na theampo ah nong phawk uh a, note tung ah kong ap biakna ngeina te na kepcing uh hu in kongpok hi.
3 Now I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, that a man is the head of a woman, and that God is the head of Christ.
Ahihang pasal i lu sia Christ hi a; numei i lu sia pasal a hihi; taciang Christ i lu sia Pathian a hihi, ci na heak tu uh ka dei hi.
4 Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head.
Pasal in a thunget ciang le thu a hil ciang in a lu a khu le, a lu thupi vawt ngawl hi.
5 But any woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head. For it is the same thing as if her head were shaved.
Ahihang numei te in thungen le thu a hil ciang in a lu a khu bale, a lu thupi simngawl hi: banghangziam cile tasia in a dang sammet tol khat taw kibang hi.
6 For if a woman will not cover her head, she should cut her hair short. If it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or for her to shave her head, let her cover her head.
Banghangziam cile numei in a lu a khu bale, a sam mettol tahen: ahihang a sam mettol tu a mai a zum le, a lu khu tahen.
7 For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.
Pasal khat sia Pathian lim le meal vangletna a hi bangma in, a lu a khu ngawl tatak tu a hihi: ahihang numei sia pasal i vangletna a hihi.
8 For man was not made from woman. Instead, woman was made from man.
Pasal sia numei pan a kivawt hi ngawl hi; ahihang numei sia pasal pan a ki piangsak hi zaw hi.
9 For neither was man created for woman. Instead, woman was created for man.
Pasal sia numei atu in a ki piangsak hi ngawl hi; ahihang numei sia pasal atu in a ki piangsak hi zaw hi.
10 This is why the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.
Vantungmi te hang in numei te in a lu a khu tu uh a hihi.
11 Nevertheless, in the Lord, the woman is not independent from the man, nor is the man independent from the woman.
Ahihang Topa sung ah, numei ngawl taw pasal om thei ngawl hi, taciang pasal ngawl taw numei zong om thei ngawl hi.
12 For as the woman comes from the man, so does the man come from the woman. And all things come from God.
Banghangziam cile numei sia pasal pan a ki piangsak hi a, tasia bangma in pasal zong numei pan a ki piangsak a hihi; ahihang na theampo sia Pathian piansak a hihi.
13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?
Note in thukhen tawm tavun: numei khat sia a lu khu ngawl in Pathian kung thungen le a etlawm tu ziam?
14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace for him?
Pasal sia samsau a hoai le, maizumhuai hi, ci sia leitung ngeina in zong hong hil zo hi ngawl ziam?
15 Does not nature teach you that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair has been given to her as a covering.
Ahihang numei sia samsau a hoai le, ama atu in vangnei hi: banghangziam cile a sam sia a lu khu na tang in a ki pia a hihi.
16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, we do not have any other practice, nor do the churches of God.
Ahihang khatpo in a nial le, tabang ngeina nei ngawl khi hi, taciang Pathian pawlpi te zong nei ngawl hi.
17 But in the following instructions, I do not praise you. For when you come together, it is not for the better but for the worse.
Note na ki khop uh ciang in a phazaw tu hi ngawl in, a sia zaw tu in kikhawm na hi uhkom in, hi thu taw kisai hong pok ngawl khi hi, ci in tu in kong pualak hi.
18 For in the first place, I hear that when you come together in the church, there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it.
Banghangziam cile a masabel in, note pawlpi sung ah na kikhop tek uh ciang in note sung ah ki doi na om hi, ci ka za a; man tha tu hi ci in ka um hi.
19 For there must also be factions among you, so that those who are approved may be recognized among you.
Banghangziam cile note sung ah mipha te a kilang thei ngawl natu in, note sung ah up na man ngawl te zong om nanak tu hi.
20 For when you come together, it is not the Lord's Supper that you eat.
Tua ahikom note na kikhop tek uh ciang in, Topa zan-an na neak tu uh hi ngawl hi.
21 When you eat, each one eats his own food before the others have their meal. One is hungry, and another becomes drunk.
Banghangziam cile na neak na mun uh ah khatsim in ama nitak an ne a; khat sia a ngilkial in om hi, taciang a dang khat sia zukham in om hi.
22 Do you not have houses to eat and to drink in? Do you despise the church of God and humiliate those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? I will not praise you for this!
Bang hi thong ziam? note in neak natu le dawn natu mun inn nei ngawl nu ziam? a hibale Pathian pawlpi thusimngawl in a nei ngawl te maizumsak na hi uh ziam? Note tung ah bang kongson tu ziam? hi thu taw kisai hongpok tu khi ziam? hong pok ngawl khi hi.
23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night when he was betrayed, took bread.
Banghangziam cile Topa tung pan ka sansa note tung ah zong kong ap hi, tua Topa Jesus in leheakna a thuak ni zan in, anluum la hi:
24 After he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this to remember me.”
Taciang lungdam a ko zawkciang in balnen a, La vun a, ne vun: hisia in note atu in a ki balnen ka pumpi a hihi: hisia in keima phaw tawntung na in vawt tavun, ci hi.
25 In the same way he took the cup after supper, and he said, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this as often as you drink it, to remember me.”
Tabangma in nitak an a neak zawk uh ciang in, hai zong la a, Hi hai sia ka thisan sung ah thuciam thak a hihi: hisia na dawn uh sim in keima phaw tawntung na in vawt ta un, ci hi.
26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
Banghangziam cile hi anluum na neak uh sim le, hi hai na dawn uh sim in Topa thina sia hongpai kik dong a kilangsak na hi uh hi.
27 Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.
Tua ahikom a kuamapo in hi Topa i anluum le hai sia, a kilawm ngawlpi in a ne le a dawn peuma, Topa pumpi le thisan tung ah mawna vawt a hihi.
28 Let a person examine himself first, and in this way let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
Tua ahikom khatpo in ama le ama ki sittel hen a, taciang anluum ne in, hai zong dawn tahen.
29 For he who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment to himself.
Banghangziam cile kilawm ngawlpi in a ne le a dawn peuma ama le ama thukhenna thuak tu in a ne a dawn a hihi, ama sia Topa i pumpi taw kisai telthiam ngawl hi.
30 That is why many among you are weak and ill, and some of you have fallen asleep.
Banghangziam cile hisa in note sung ah mi tampi thaneamsak a, nasak hi, taciang mi tampi mutthipsak hi.
31 But if we examine ourselves, we will not be judged.
Banghangziam cile eima le eima thu i ki khen le, thukhenna i thuak batu hi.
32 But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, so that we may not be condemned along with the world.
Ahihang thukhenna i thuak ciang zong, leitung mite mawsiat ngawl tu in Topa in hong tek hi.
33 Therefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.
Tua ahikom suapui te awng, ne tu in nongpai tek uh ciang, khat le khat ki ngak vadiam vun.
34 If anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, so that when you come together it will not be for judgment. And about the other things you wrote, I will give directions when I come.
Khat po sia a ngilkial ahile, inn ah ne tahen; tabang in nongpai na uh thu mawsiatna hong suak ngawl tu hi. Taciang thudang te sia kongpai ciang in keima in phatak in ka puapha tu hi.
