1 Chronicles 25
1 David and the leaders of the army selected some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. Here is the list of the men who performed this service:
E David, juntamente com os capitães do exercito, separou para o ministerio os filhos de Asaph, e de Heman, e de Jeduthun, para prophetizarem com harpas, com alaudes, e com psalterios: e este foi o numero dos homens aptos para a obra do seu ministerio.
2 From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the king's supervision.
Dos filhos de Asaph foram Zaccur, e José, e Nethanias, e Asarela, filhos de Asaph: a cargo de Asaph, que prophetizava debaixo da direcção do rei David.
3 From the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six in all, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, who played the harp for giving thanks and praising Yahweh.
Quanto a Jeduthun, foram os filhos de Jeduthun: Gedalias, e Zeri, e Jesaias, e Hasabias, e Mattithias, seis, a cargo de seu pae Jeduthun, para tanger harpas, o qual prophetizava, louvando e dando graças ao Senhor.
4 From the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
Quanto a Heman: os filhos de Heman: Bukkias, Matthanias, Uziel, Sebuel, e Jerimoth, Hananias, Hanani, Eliatha, Giddalti, e Romamthi-ezer, Josbekasa, Mallothi, Hothir, e Mahazioth.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king's prophet. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters to lift up his horn.
Todos estes foram filhos de Heman, o vidente do rei nas palavras de Deus, para exaltar a corneta: porque Deus dera a Heman quatorze filhos e tres filhas.
6 All these were under the direction of their fathers. They were musicians in Yahweh's house, with cymbals and stringed instruments as they served in God's house. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the king's supervision.
Todos estes estavam ao lado de seu pae para o canto da casa do Senhor, com psalterios, alaudes e harpas, para o ministerio da casa de Deus; e, ao lado do rei, Asaph, Jeduthun, e Heman.
7 They and their brothers who were skilled and trained to make music to Yahweh numbered 288.
E era o numero d'elles, juntamente com seus irmãos instruidos no canto do Senhor, todos os mestres, duzentos e oitenta e oito.
8 They cast lots for their duties, all alike, the same for the young as well as the old, the teacher as well as the student.
E deitaram as sortes ácerca da guarda egualmente, assim o pequeno como o grande, o mestre juntamente com o discipulo.
9 Now regarding Asaph's sons: The first lot fell to Joseph's family; the second fell to Gedaliah's family, twelve persons in number;
Saiu pois a primeira sorte a Asaph, a saber: a José; a segunda a Gedalias; e eram elle, e seus irmãos, e seus filhos, ao todo, doze.
10 the third fell to Zaccur, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A terceira a Zaccur, seus filhos e seus irmãos; doze.
11 the fourth fell to Izri, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A quarta a Isri, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
12 the fifth fell to Nethaniah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A quinta a Nethanias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
13 the sixth fell to Bukkiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A sexta a Bukkias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
14 the seventh fell to Jesarelah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A setima a Jesarela, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
15 the eighth fell to Jeshaiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A oitava a Jesaias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
16 the ninth fell to Mattaniah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A nona a Matthanias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
17 the tenth fell to Shimei, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima a Simei, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
18 the eleventh fell to Azarel, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A undecima a Azareel, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
19 the twelfth fell to Hashabiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A duodecima a Hasabias, seus filhos e seus irmãos; doze.
20 the thirteenth fell to Shubael, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima terceira a Subael, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
21 the fourteenth fell to Mattithiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima quarta a Mattithias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
22 the fifteenth fell to Jerimoth, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima quinta a Jeremoth, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
23 the sixteenth fell to Hananiah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima sexta a Hananias, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
24 the seventeenth fell to Joshbekashah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima setima a Josbekasa, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
25 the eighteenth fell to Hanani, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima oitava a Hanani, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
26 the nineteenth fell to Mallothi, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A decima nona a Mallothi, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
27 the twentieth fell to Eliathah, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A vigesima a Eliatha, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
28 the twenty-first fell to Hothir, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A vigesima primeira a Hothir, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
29 the twenty-second fell to Giddalti, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
A vigesima segunda a Giddalthi, seus filhos, e seus irmãos; doze.
30 the twenty-third fell to Mahazioth, his sons and his relatives, twelve persons in number;
