< 1 Chronicles 17 >

1 It happened that after the king had settled in his house, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Look, I am living in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of Yahweh is staying under a tent.”
Ie amy zao, nimoneñe añ’ anjomba’e ao t’i Davide le nanao ty hoe amy Natane mpitoky t’i Davide: Heheke te mitobok’ añ’ anjomba mendoraven-draho, fe ambane firadoradoañe ao ty vatam-pañina’ Iehovà.
2 Then Nathan said to David, “Go, do what is in your heart, for God is with you.”
Le hoe t’i Natane amy Davide, Ano iaby ze añ’arofo’o ao, fa ama’o t’i Andrianañahare.
3 But that same night the word of God came to Nathan, saying,
Ie amy haleñey le niheo amy Natane ty tsaran’ Añahare nanao ty hoe:
4 “Go and tell David my servant, 'This is what Yahweh says: You will not build me a house in which to live.
Akia saontsio amy Davide mpitoroko, Hoe ty tsara’ Iehovà, Tsy ihe ty hamboatse akiba ho ahy himoneñako;
5 For I have not lived in a house from the day that I brought up Israel to this present day. Instead, I have been living in a tent, a tabernacle, in various places.
mboe lia’e tsy nimoneñe añ’anjomba iraho sikal’ amy andro nampionjoneko Israeley ampara’ henane, fe boak’an-kivoho mb’an-kivoho vaho boak’ ami’ty kibohotse mb’ ami’ty ila’e.
6 In all places I have moved among all Israel, did I ever say anything to any of Israel's leaders whom I appointed to shepherd my people, saying, “Why have you not built me a house of cedar?”'”
Aa ndra aia’ aia ty niharoako lia amy Israele, teo hao ty tsara nivolañeko amo mpitoki’ Israele nandiliako hiarake ondatikoo, ty hoe: Aa vaho akore te tsy namboara’ areo anjomba mendoraven-draho?
7 “Now then, tell my servant David, 'This is what Yahweh of hosts says: I took you from the pasture, from following the sheep, so that you would be ruler over my people Israel.
Aa le hoe ty ho saontsie’o amy mpitoroko Davidey, Hoe t’Iehovà’ i Màroy, Rinambeko an-jolok’ añondry ao irehe, boak’ am-piarahañ’ añondry ho mpifehe ondatiko Israeleo;
8 I have been with you wherever you went and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and I will make you a name, like the name of the great ones who are on the earth.
le nimpiama’o iraho amy ze nimba’o iaby naho fonga zinevoko aolo’o o rafelahi’oo vaho nanoako tahinañe manahake ondaty jabajaba’ ty tane toio.
9 I will appoint a place for my people Israel and will plant them there, so that they may live in their own place and be troubled no more. No longer will wicked people oppress them, as they did before,
Mbore hañorizako toetse ondatiko Israeleo naho hajadoko eo himoneña’ iareo an-toe’ iareo ao, le tsy hasiotse ka; vaho tsy hampiantoe’ o tsivokatseo, manahake te taolo,
10 as they were doing from the days that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel. Then I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover I tell you that I, Yahweh, will build you a house.
sikal’ amy andro nampifeheko o mpizakao ondatiko Israeleoy. Hampiambaneko iaby o rafelahi’oo vaho itaroñako te Iehovà ty hañoreñe anjomba ho azo.
11 It will come about that when your days are fulfilled for you to go to your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, and for one of your own descendants, I will establish his kingdom.
Ie añe naho fa heneke o andro’oo, naho homb’aman-droae’o mb’eo, le hatroako ty tiri’o hanonjohy azo, ty raik’ amo ana’oo; le hajadoko i fifehea’ey.
12 He will build me a house, and I will establish his throne forever.
Ie ty hamboatse anjomba ho Ahy, le horizako ho nainai’e tsy modo i fifeleha’ey.
13 I will be a father to him, and he will be my son. I will not take my covenant faithfulness away from him, as I took it from Saul, who ruled before you.
Ho rae’e Raho, le ho anako re; le tsy hapitsoko ama’e ty fiferenaiñako manahake ty nanintahako aze amy niaolo azoy,
14 I will set him over my house and in my kingdom forever, and his throne will be established forever.'”
f’ie hampimoneñako añ’ anjombako ao naho am-pifeheako ao nainai’e, le hijadoñe kitro añ’afe’e i fiambesa’ey.
15 Nathan spoke to David and reported to him all these words, and he told him about the entire vision.
Aa le hene nisaontsie’ i Natane amy Davide i tsaray naho i aroñaroñey.
16 Then David the king went in and sat before Yahweh; he said, “Who am I, Yahweh God, and what is my family, that you have brought me to this point?
Nizilik’ ao t’i Davide niambesatse añatrefa’ Iehovà, nanao ty hoe: Ia iraho, ry Iehovà Andrianañahare; ino i kivohokoy t’ie nendese’o mb’etoy?
17 For this was a small thing in your sight, God. You have spoken of your servant's family for a great while to come, and have shown me future generations, Yahweh God.
Te mone kede am-pihaino’o izay, ry Andrianañahare kanao nitsarae’o amy akibam-pitoro’o t’ie ho haehaey, vaho nivazohoe’o hoe t’ie hanahake t’i ondaty añ’abo ao, ry Iehovà Andrianañahare.
18 What more can I, David, say to you? You have honored your servant. You have given your servant special recognition.
Ino ka ty hihalalia’ i Davide ty amy engeñe natolo’o amo mpitoro’oo? Fa arofoana’o ty mpitoro’o.
19 Yahweh, for your servant's sake, and to fulfill your own purpose, you have done this great thing to reveal all your great deeds.
Ry Iehovà, o mpitoro’oo naho o arofo’oo ty nanoe’o o raha ra’elahy zao, ty nampaharofoanañe o fonga raha fanjaka rezao.
20 Yahweh, there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, just as we have always heard.
Ry Iehovà, tsy eo ty mañirinkiriñe Azo, tsy eo ty ndrahare naho tsy Ihe, ty amy ze he’e jinanjin-tsofi’ay.
21 For what nation on earth is like your people Israel, whom you, God, rescued from Egypt as a people for yourself, to make a name for yourself by great and awesome deeds? You drove out nations from before your people, whom you rescued from Egypt.
Le fifeheañe aia an-tane atoy ty manahake ondati’o Israele nijebañen’ Añahare hondati’eo, hampanaña’o tahinañe jabahinake añamo fitoloña’o ra’elahy naho maharevendreveñeo, ie rinoa’o aolo’ ondati’o nijebañe’o amy Mitsraimeio o kilakila’ ondatio?
22 You made Israel your own people forever, and you, Yahweh, became their God.
Le nanoe’o ondati’o nainai’e, ondati’o Israeleo, vaho Ihe ro Andrianañahare’ iareo henane zao, ry Iehovà.
23 So now, Yahweh, may the promise that you made concerning your servant and his family be established forever. Do as you have spoken.
Ie amy zao, ry Iehovà, lonik’ abey te hajado’o nainai’e i nitsarae’o amo mpitoro’oo naho i akiba’eiy vaho hanoe’o i tsinara’oy.
24 May your name be established forever and be great, so the people will say, 'Yahweh of hosts is the God of Israel,' while the house of me, David, your servant is established before you.
Aa le ajadoño naho ampijabahinaho nainai’e donia ty tahina’o, hitsarañe ty hoe: Iehovà’ i Màroy ro Andrianañahare’ Israele naho Andrianañahare am’ Israele; le ehe te hioreñe nainai’e añatrefa’o ty akiba’ i Davide mpitoro’o.
25 For you, my God, have revealed to your servant that you will build him a house. That is why I, your servant, have found courage to pray to you.
Fa Ihe, ry Andrianañahareko, ro nitaroñe amo mpitoro’oo te handranjia’o anjomba; izay ty nahasibeke o mpitoro’oo hihalaly ama’o.
26 Now, Yahweh, you are God, and have made this good promise to your servant:
Toe Ihe, ry Iehovà, ro Andrianañahare vaho nitsarae’o amo mpitoro’oo i hasoa zay;
27 Now it has pleased you to bless your servant's house, that it may continue forever before you. You, Yahweh, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”
aa le ninò’o ty hitata i akibam-pitoro’oy, t’ie ho añatrefa’o nainai’e; aa kanao Ihe ro nitata ry Iehovà, le ho soatata nainai’e.
