Romans 10
1 Brethren my hertes desyre and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved.
Qachalal, ri kurayij ri wanimaꞌ xuqujeꞌ ri nuchꞌawem cho ri Dios pa kiwiꞌ ri winaq aꞌj Israel are chi kekolotajik.
2 For I beare them recorde that they have a fervet mynde to God warde but not accordinge to knowledge.
Qas tzij kinqꞌalajisaj chiꞌwach chi ri winaq aꞌj Israel qas kakaj wi kakipatanij ri Dios xa kꞌu man rukꞌ etaꞌmabꞌal kakibꞌano.
3 For they are ignoraut of the rightewesnes which is alowed before God and goo about to stablisshe their awne rightewesnes and therfore are not obedient vnto the rightewesnes which is of valew before God.
Man xketaꞌmaj ta uwach ri usukꞌal ri Dios, are xkaj xkibꞌan ri kisukꞌal aꞌreꞌ, man xkimochꞌ ta kibꞌ pa ri usukꞌal ri Dios.
4 For Christ is the ende of the lawe to iustifie all that beleve.
Ri taqanik are xraj xukꞌut ri Cristo, rech jeriꞌ kabꞌantaj sukꞌ che ri kakojon che Areꞌ.
5 Moses describeth the rightewesnes which cometh of ye lawe howe that the man which doth the thinges of the lawe shall lyve therin.
Ri Moisés xutzꞌibꞌaj ri sukꞌal ri kuya ri taqanik xubꞌij: Ri achi ri are karilij ubꞌanik we jastaq riꞌ, kakꞌasiꞌk rumal re.
6 But ye rightewesnes which cometh of fayth speaketh on this wyse. Saye not in thyne hert who shall ascende into heven? (that is nothinge els then to fetch Christ doune)
Are kꞌu ri sukꞌal ri kakꞌamawaꞌx xa rumal ri kojobꞌal kubꞌij: Man kabꞌij ta pa ri awanimaꞌ, ¿jachin kapaqiꞌ pa ri kaj? We jewaꞌ kabꞌij are kawaj riꞌ kaqasaj loq ri Cristo choch ri uwachulew.
7 Other who shall descende into the depe? (that is nothinge els but to fetch vp Christ from deeth) (Abyssos g12)
Mabꞌij xuqujeꞌ: ¿Jachin riꞌ ri kaqaj bꞌik pa ri ukꞌuꞌx ri ulew? (Rech kuꞌkꞌastajisaj loq ri Cristo chikixoꞌl ri kaminaqibꞌ.) (Abyssos g12)
8 But what sayth the scripture? The worde is nye the even in thy mouth and in thyn herte. This worde is the worde of fayth which we preache.
¿Jas kꞌu kubꞌij ri tzꞌibꞌatalik? Chanaqaj kꞌo wi ri tzij; kꞌo pa ri achiꞌ xuqujeꞌ pa ri awanimaꞌ. Are waꞌ ri tzij rech kojobꞌal ri kaqatzijoj.
9 For yf thou shalt knowledge wt thy mouth that Iesus is the lorde and shalt beleve with thyn hert that God raysed him up from deeth thou shalt be safe.
We che ri achiꞌ kabꞌij chi ri Jesús are Awajaw xuqujeꞌ kakoj pa awanimaꞌ chi are ri Dios xkꞌastajisan chikixoꞌl ri kaminaqibꞌ, katkolotajik.
10 For the belefe of the hert iustifieth: and to knowledge with the mouth maketh a man safe.
Rumal cher pa ranimaꞌ jun kukoj wi rech kabꞌantaj sukꞌ che, xuqujeꞌ rukꞌ ri uchiꞌ kuqꞌalajisaj rech kakolotajik.
11 For the scripture sayth: whosoever beleveth on him shall not be ashamed.
Ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kubꞌij: Xapachin ri kakojonik che areꞌ man kel taj ukꞌixibꞌal.
12 Ther is no difference bitwene the Iewe and the gentyll. For one is Lorde of all which is ryche vnto all that call on him.
Man e jaljoj ta wi ri winaq aꞌj Israel kukꞌ ri winaq ri man aꞌj Israel taj. Jeriꞌ rumal ri Ajawxel, Ajawxel kech konojel xuqujeꞌ kuya nimalaj tewechibꞌal pa kiwiꞌ konojel ri kakinaꞌtaj ri ubꞌiꞌ.
13 For whosoever shall call on the name of the lorde shalbe safe.
Jeꞌ rumal xapachin ri kunaꞌtaj ri ubꞌiꞌ ri Ajawxel, kakolotaj na.
14 But how shall they call on him on who they beleved not? how shall they beleve on him of whom they have not herde? how shall they heare with out a preacher?
¿La kekwin kꞌut kakinaꞌtaj ubꞌiꞌ ri man e kojoninaq ta che ri ubꞌiꞌ? ¿La kekojon kꞌu riꞌ che ri man kitom ta wi? ¿La kakita kꞌu riꞌ we man kꞌo jun katzijon chike?
15 And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written: how beautifull are the fete of them which bringe glad tydynges of peace and bringe glad tydynges of good thinges.
¿La kꞌo kꞌu jun riꞌ keꞌ chutzijoxik we man nabꞌe kataq bꞌik? Ri tzꞌibꞌatalik kubꞌij: Sibꞌalaj jeꞌl ukꞌamawaꞌxik ri qꞌalajisal rech jaꞌmaril, ri rukꞌaꞌm loq utz laj tzij.
16 But they have not all obeyed to ye gospell. For Esaias sayth: Lorde who shall beleve oure sayinges?
Pune jeriꞌ man konojel taj ri winaq aꞌj Israel xkikꞌamawaꞌj ri utz laj taq tzij. Ri Isaías kubꞌij: ¿Ajawxel, jachin xkojon che ri tzij ri xqatzijoj?
17 So then fayth cometh by hearynge and hearynge cometh by the worde of God.
Xaq jeriꞌ ri kojobꞌal kakꞌiyik we katatabꞌex ri utzij ri Dios ronojel qꞌij.
18 But I axe: have they not herde? No dout their sounde went out into all londes: and their wordes in to the endes of the worlde.
Kinbꞌij kꞌut: ¿La man kꞌu xkito? Jas man xkita wi. Ri uchꞌabꞌal xtataj pa ronojel ri uwachulew, xopan pa ri kꞌisbꞌal taq rech ri uwachulew.
19 But I demaunde whether Israel dyd knowe or not? Fyrst Moses sayth: I will provoke you for to envy by the that are no people and by a folisshe nacion I will anger you.
Kinbꞌij xuqujeꞌ ¿la man kꞌu xkichꞌobꞌ waꞌ we riꞌ ri winaq aꞌj Israel? Qas nabꞌe ri Moisés kubꞌij: Qas kinbꞌan na chi kꞌax kinaꞌ chike ri winaq ri man aꞌj Israel taj; qas kayakataj na iwoyawal kumal ke.
20 Esaias after that is bolde and sayth. I am founde of the that sought me not and have appered to them that axed not after me.
Kꞌa te riꞌ ri Isaías kubꞌij: Xinya bꞌe xinkiriq ri winaq ri man tajin taj kinkitzukuj. Xinkꞌut wibꞌ chikiwach ri man kakitatabꞌela la taj in jachin ri in.
21 And agaynst Israel he sayth: All daye longe have I stretched forth my hondes vnto a people yt beleveth not but speaketh agaynst me.
Kubꞌij kꞌu che ri Israel: Ronojel qꞌij xinlikꞌ apanoq ri nuqꞌabꞌ chukꞌamawaꞌxik ri tinimit ri man kaniman ta wi, xaq xinakꞌululaꞌj.
