Revelation 21
1 And I sawe a newe heven and a newe erth For the fyrst heven and the fyrst erth were vanysshed awaye and there was no more see.
Potom viděl jsem nebe nové a zemi novou. Nebo první nebe a první země byla pominula, a moře již nebylo.
2 And I Iho sawe that holy cite newe Ierusalem come doune from God oute of heven prepared as a bryde garnysshed for hyr husband.
A já Jan viděl jsem město svaté, Jeruzalém nový, sstupující od Boha s nebe, připravený jako nevěstu okrášlenou muži svému.
3 And I herde a grett voyce out of heaven sayinge: beholde the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with the And they shalbe his people and God him sylffe shalbe with the and be their god.
I slyšel jsem hlas veliký s nebe, řkoucí: Aj, stánek Boží s lidmi, a bydlitiť bude s nimi, a oni budou lid jeho, a on Bůh s nimi bude, jsa Bůh jejich.
4 And God shall wype awaye all teares fro their eyes. And there shalbe nomore deeth nether sorowe nether cryinge nether shall there be eny more payne for the olde thynges are gone.
A setřeť Bůh všelikou slzu s očí jejich, a smrti již více nebude, ani kvílení, ani křiku, ani bolesti nebude více; nebo první věci pominuly.
5 And he that sate apon the seate sayde: Behold I make all thynges newe. And he sayde vnto me: wryte for these wordes are faythfull and true.
I řekl ten, kterýž seděl na trůnu: Aj, nové činím všecko. I řekl mi: Piš. Nebo jsou tato slova věrná a pravá.
6 And he sayde vnto me: it is done I am Alpha and Omega the begynnynge and the ende. I will geve to him yt is a thyrst of the well of the water of lyfe fre.
I dí mi: Stalo se. Jáť jsem Alfa i Oméga, počátek i konec. Jáť dám žíznivému z studnice vody živé darmo.
7 He that overcometh shall inheret all thynges and I will be his God and he shalbe my sonne.
Kdož svítězí, obdržíť dědičně všecko, a buduť jemu Bohem, a on mi bude synem.
9 And there cam vnto me one of the vii. angels which had the vii. vyals full of the vii. laste plages: and talked with me sayinge: come hydder I will shewe the the bryde the lambes wyfe.
I přišel ke mně jeden z těch sedmi andělů, kteříž měli sedm koflíků plných sedmi ran nejposlednějších, a mluvil se mnou, řka: Poď, ukážiť nevěstu, manželku Beránkovu.
10 And he caryed me awaye in the sprete to a grett and an hye mountayne and he shewed me the grett cite holy Ierusalem descendinge out of heven fro God
I vnesl mne v duchu na horu velikou a vysokou, a ukázal mi město veliké, ten svatý Jeruzalém, sstupující s nebe od Boha,
11 havynge the brightnes of God. And her shynynge was lyke vnto a stone moste precious even a Iaspar cleare as cristall:
Mající slávu Boží. Jehož světlost byla podobná k kameni nejdražšímu, jako k kameni jaspidu, kterýž by byl způsobu křištálového,
12 and had walles grett and hye and had xii gates and at the gates xii. angels: and names written which are the xii. trybes of Israell:
A mající zed velikou a vysokou, mající dvanácte bran, a na těch branách dvanácte andělů, a jména napsaná, kterážto jsou dvanáctera pokolení synů Izraelských.
13 on the est parte iii gatis and on the north syde iii gates and to wardes the south iii gates and from the west iii gates:
Od východu slunce brány tři, od půlnoci brány tři, od poledne brány tři, od západu brány tři.
14 and the wall of the cite had xii foundacions and in them the names of the lambes. xii. Apostles.
A zed městská měla základů dvanácte, a na nich jména dvanácti apoštolů Beránkových.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden read to measure the cite with all and the gates therof and the wall therof.
A ten, kterýž mluvil se mnou, měl třtinu zlatou, aby změřil město i brány jeho i zed jeho.
16 And the cite was bylt iiii. square and the length was as large as the bredth of it and he measured the cite with the rede. xii M. fur longes: and the lenght and the bredth and ye heyth of it were equall.
Položení pak města toho čtverhrané jest, jehož dlouhost tak veliká jest jako i širokost. I naměřil toho města tou třtinou dvanácte tisíců honů; dlouhost pak jeho, i širokost, i vysokost jednostejná jest.
17 And he measured the wall therof. an cxliiii. cubittes: the measure that ye angell had was after the measure that man vseth.
I změřil zed jeho, sto čtyřidceti a čtyři loktů, měrou člověka, kteráž jest míra anděla.
18 And the byldinge of the wall of it was of iaspar. And the cite was pure gold lyke vnto cleare glasse
A bylo stavení zdi jeho jaspis, město pak samo bylo zlato čisté, podobné sklu čistému.
19 and the foundacions of the wall of ye cite was garnisshed with all maner of precious stones The fyrste foundacion was iaspar the seconde saphyre the thyrde a calcedony the fourth an emeralde:
A základové zdi městské všelikým kamenem drahým ozdobeni byli. Základ první byl jaspis, druhý zafir, třetí chalcedon, čtvrtý smaragd,
20 the fyft sardonix: the sixt sardeos: the seventh crysolite the ayght berall: the nynth a topas: the tenth a crysoprasos: the eleventh a iacyncte: the twelfe an amatist.
Pátý sardonyx, šestý sardius, sedmý chryzolit, osmý beryllus, devátý topazion, desátý chryzoprassus, jedenáctý hyacint, dvanáctý ametyst.
21 The xii. gates were xii pearles every gate was of one pearle and the strete of the cite was pure golde as thorowe shynynge glasse.
Dvanácte pak bran dvanácte perel jest, jedna každá brána jest z jedné perly; a rynk města zlato čisté jako sklo, kteréž se naskrze prohlédnouti může.
22 And there was no temple therin. For the lord god allmyghty and the lambe are the temple of it
Ale chrámu jsem v něm neviděl; nebo Pán Bůh všemohoucí chrám jeho jest a Beránek.
23 and the cite hath no nede of the sonne nether of the mone to lyghten it. For the bryghtnes of God dyd light it: and the lambe was the light of it.
A to město nepotřebuje slunce ani měsíce, aby svítili v něm; nebo sláva Boží je osvěcuje, a svíce jeho jest Beránek.
24 And the people which are saved shall walke in the light of it: and the kynges of the erth shall brynge their glory vnto it.
A národové, kteříž by k spasení přišli, v světle jeho procházeti se budou, a králové zemští přenesou slávu a čest svou do něho.
25 And ye gates of it are not shut by daye. For there shalbe no nyght there.
A brány jeho nebudou zavírány ve dne; noci zajisté tam nebude.
A snesou do něho slávu a čest národů.
27 And there shall entre into it none vnclene thynge: nether what soever worketh abhominacion: or maketh lyes: but they only which are wrytten in the lambes boke of lyfe.
A nevejdeť do něho nic poškvrňujícího, aneb působícího ohyzdnost a lež, než toliko ti, kteříž napsáni jsou v knize života Beránkova.
