1 Then spake Iesus to the people and to his disciples

2 sayinge. The Scribes and the Pharises sit in Moses seate.

“Balam minchupungei le Phariseengei hih Moses Balamngei rilminthârpu ngei ni ranga phal an ni.

3 All therfore whatsoever they byd you observe that observe and do: but after their workes do not:

Masikin itho ranga nangni an be murdi chu nin jômin nin jûi rang ani; Hannirese, an omchan chu jûi no roi, an misîr ngei hih an mang ngâi loi sikin.

4 For they saye and do not. Ye and they bynde hevy burthes and grevous to be borne and ley the on menes shulders: but they themsylfes will not heave at them with one of their fyngers.

Puok arik le apêl intak takngei an siema, mingei chunga an bâng ngâia, aniatachu, ha mingei sanna rangin an kutpârngei luo mang nuom ngâi mak ngei.

5 All their workes they do for to be sene of me. They set abroade their philateries and make large borders on there garmetes

An sintho murdi khom miriem mu rangin kêng an sin ngâi. An machalngei le an bânngei khitna hih Pathien chong miziek ngei hih en ta u, an inrol bâk na! An kâncholiinchuol minvona ngei khom hih en ta u, asei bâk na!

6 and love to sit vppermooste at feastes and to have the chefe seates in the synagoges

Ruolhoi thona muna munhoi tatakna ngei le synagog ngeia sukmun asa an ngên ngâia;

7 and gretinges in the marketes and to be called of men Rabi.

Bazar mun ngeia min chubai an mûk le ‘Minchupu’ tia an koingei an minlut ngâia.

8 But ye shall not suffre youre selves to be called Rabi. For one is youre master that is to wyt Christ and all ye are brethre.

Nangni chu ‘Minchupu’ tiin koi ni tet no tunui, urêng korong nin nia, minchupu inkhat mang nin dôn sikin.

9 And call no man youre father vpon the erth for there is but one youre father and he is in heven.

Pilchung hin tute O, Pa, ti no roi, Pa inkhat mamang invâna nin dôn sikin.

10 Be not called masters for there is but one youre master and he is Christ.

‘Ruoipu’ ti khomin koi ni no tunui. Messiah mang hih nin ruoipu ani sikin.

11 He that is greatest amoge you shalbe youre seruaunte.

Nin lâia a roiinpuitak chu nin tîrlâm ani rang ani.

12 But whosoever exalteth himsilfe shalbe brought lowe. And he yt hubleth himsilfe shalbe exalted.

Tutu a omlien kai chu chîn an ta, a omchîn kai chu minlutin om an tih.”

13 Wo be vnto you Scribes and Pharises ypocrites for ye shutte vp the kyngdome of heve before men: ye youre selves goo not in nether suffre ye them that come to enter in.

“Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Nin chung arik! Invân Rêngram inkhâr hah mingei nin khâr pea; nangni laka lût uol mak cheia mi a lût rang ngei khom nin khap ngâi.

14 Wo be vnto you Scribes and Pharises ypocrites: ye devoure widdowes houses and that vnder a coloure of praying longe prayers: wherfore ye shall receave greater damnacion.

Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Nin chung arik! Meithâingei sum nin sâk pea, mi huongnân asôt zazan chubai nin tho ngâi; masikin nin dûk tuong rik uol ok atih!

15 Wo be vnto you Scribes and Pharises ypocrites which compasse see and londe to bringe one in to youre belefe: and when he ys brought ye make him two folde more the chylde of hell then ye youre selves are. (Geenna g1067)

Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Nin chung arik! Mi inkhat insîrna rangin tuikhanglien le ram pumpui nin sir ngâia; a hong inletin chu ha mi hah nangni nêka bâknika dûkmuna se rangin nin tho ngâi! (Geenna g1067)

16 Wo be vnto you blynd gides which saye whosoever sweare by the teple it is no thinge: but whosoever sweare by the golde of the temple he offendeth.

Nangni ruoipu mitcho, Tukhom Biekin dêna khomâkinsâm chu ite nâng ngâi maka; aniatachu tukhom Biekina rângkachak dêna khomakinsâm chu anângna aom.” Ti ngâi ngei nin chung arik.

17 Ye foles and blinde? whether is greater the golde or the teple that sanctifieth ye golde.

Mitcho inmôlngei! Imo akâm aom uol, rângkachak mo aninônchu rângkachak inthieng Biekin hah mo?

18 And whosoever sweareth by the aulter it is nothinge: but whosoever sweareth by ye offeringe yt lyeth on ye aultre offendeth.

Mapêna Tukhom mâichâm dêna khomakinsâm chu ite anângna omaka, ania mâichâm chunga neinunpêk dêna khomakinsâm chu anângna aom, nin ti sa ngâi.

19 Ye foles and blinde: whether is greater ye offeringe or ye aultre which sanctifieth ye offeringe?

Idôra mitcho nin ni! Imo akâmaom uol, neinunpêk minthieng ngâipu mâichâm ha mo, mo neinunpêk ha mo?

20 Whosoever therfore sweareth by ye aultre sweareth by it and by all yt there on is.

Masikin tukhom mâichâm le a chunga neinunpêk aom murdi'n ânsâmdelsa ani.

21 And whosoever sweareth by the teple sweareth by it and by hym yt dwelleth therin.

Tukhom Biekin dêna khomâkinsâm kaiin chu Biekin leh a sûnga Pathien om hah dênin ân sâm ania;

22 And he that sweareth by heve swereth by the seate of God and by hym that sytteth theron.

male tukhom invân dêna khomâkinsâm chu Pathien sukmun le a chunga insungpu dênin ân sâm ani.

23 Wo be to you Scribes and Pharises ypocrites which tythe mynt annyse and comen and leave the waygthtyer mattres of ye lawe vndone: iudgemet mercy and fayth. These ought ye to have done and not to have left the othre vndone.

Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Nin chung arik! Sâkruo avâng ngâi chimungei, lêngmesêr le sâkbakhêr tenah khom sômakhat nin pêk ngâia, hannirese, Balama akâm aom uol, dikna ngei le mulungjûrpuina le iemomna ngei jôm rangin chu lunghâng tho ngâi mak chei. Hi ngei hih nin jôm rang ani, adangngei khom mathân uol loiin.

24 Ye blinde gydes which strayne out a gnat and swalowe a cammyll.

Ruoipu mitcho ngei! Nin tui nêkna thoihir chu nin rithît minsâia, ania saringsei chu nin movol ngâi ani.

25 Wo be to you scribes and pharises ypocrites which make clene ye vtter syde of the cuppe and of the platter: but within they are full of brybery and excesse.

Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Nin chung arik! Nin kilât le nin mâirâng pêntieng nin minsâia, a sûngtieng chu, inrûksâkna le indînloi nân ai sip ani.

26 Thou blinde Pharise clense fyrst the outsyde of the cup and platter that the ynneside of them maye be clene also.

Pharisee mitcho ngei! Kilât sûngtieng hah minsâi bak ungla, hanchu apêntieng khom sâi sâng atih!

27 Wo be to you Scribe and Pharises ypocrite for ye are lyke vnto paynted tombes which appere beautyfull outwarde: but are wt in full of deed bones and of all fylthynes.

“Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Thân lung, nôtminvâra apêntieng chu en ahoi zata, hannirese, asûngtieng chu ru le ruok athûa sip angha nin ni.

28 So are ye for outwarde ye appere righteous vnto me when within ye are full of ypocrisie and iniquite.

Ma anghan mitin mitmua pêntieng chu asa anghan nin inlanga, hannirese, nin sûngtieng chu asarotholna le sietnangeia sipmat nin ni.

29 Wo be vnto you Scribes and Pharises ypocrites: ye bylde the tombes of the Prophetes and garnisshe the sepulchres of the righteous

“Nangni Balam minchupungei le Pharisee asarotholngei! Nin chung arik! Dêipungei thân nin sinsiama, midikngei riettit nân lungngei nin minvo ngâia;

30 and saye: Yf we had bene in the dayes of oure fathers we wolde not have bene parteners with them in the bloud of the Prophetes.

male ei richibulngei om lâia han ei lei omsai nikhom senla, dêipungei thisen an musuok han chu inchel no ih, nin ti ngâi.

31 So then ye be witnesses vnto youre selfes that ye are the chyldren of them which killed the prophetes.

Masikin Dêipungei lei that ngei richia mi nin ni ti nin minlang chak ani.

32 Fulfill ye lyke wyse the measure of youre fathers.

Se ungla, nin richibulngeiin an lei phut hah minzoi roi.

33 Yee serpentes and generacion of vipers how shuld ye scape ye dapnacio of hell? (Geenna g1067)

Nangni murûlngei le murûl nâingei! Dûkmuna se ranga jêkmasatna renga inmo jôk thei rangin nin insabei? (Geenna g1067)

34 Wherfore beholde I sende vnto you prophetes wyse men and scribes and of the ye shall kyll and crucifie: and of the ye shall scourge in youre synagoges and persecute from cyte to cyte

Masikin nangni ki ril, nin kôm dêipungei, mivârngei, minchupungei juongtîr ka ta, an lâia senkhat chu that nin ta, senkhat chu jêmdel nin ta, senkhat chu synagog ngeia jêm nin ta, khopui ankhat renga khopui ankhata rujûlpai nin tih.

35 that vpon you maye come all the righteous bloude that was sheed vpon the erth fro the bloud of righteous Abell vnto ye bloud of zacharias the sonne of Barachias who ye slewe betwene the teple and ye altre.

Masikin midiktak Abel thisen renga Biekin le mâichâm kâra Barakia nâipasal, theiloinaboi, Zakaria nin that thisen tena han, pilchunga midikngei thatna sika dûktuongna chu nin chunga la chul atih.

36 Verely I say vnto you all these thinges shall light vpon this generacion.

Adiktakin nangni ki ril: ha mingei thatna sika dûktuongna ngei murdi chu atûna mingei chunga chul let atih.

37 Hierusalem hierusalem which kyllest prophetes and stonest the which are sent to the: how often wolde I have gadered thy chyldren to gether as the henne gadreth her chickes vnder her winges but ye wolde not:

“Jerusalem, Jerusalem! Dêipungei thata, Pathien'n no kôma thangthei a hongtîr ngei lung leh a dêng thatpu! Ârpuinu'n ate ngei a mantha nuoia ai opbûm ngâi anghan ni mingei anrêngin voizet mo ka bân nuoia opbûm rang ko bôka, hankhoma nuom mak che!

38 Beholde youre habitacio shalbe lefte vnto you desolate.

Masikin nin Biekin hah mâkrakin, a korongin om atih.

39 For I saye to you ye shall not se me heceforthe tyll that ye saye: blessed is he that cometh in the name of ye Lorde.

Nangni ki ril, ‘Pumapa riminga hong chu Pathien'n satvur rese,’ nin ti mâka chu atûn renga ni mu nôk khâi no tunui a tia.”
