John 6
1 After these thinges Iesus wet his waye over the see of Galile nye to a cyte called Tiberias.

2 And a greate multitude folowed him because they had sene his myracles which he dyd on them that were diseased.

3 And Iesus went vp into a mountayne and there he sate with his disciples.

4 And ester a feast of ye Iewes was nye.
Lukumbi lwa mselebuko wa Vayawudi wewikemelewa Pasaka wavili papipi.
5 Then Iesus lifte vp his eyes and sawe a greate copany come vnto him and sayde vnto Philip: whence shall we bye breed yt these might eate.
Hinu, Yesu pealolokisi auwene msambi uvaha wa vandu ukumbwelela ndi akamjovela Filipi, “Wu, tikagula koki mabumunda muni vandu ava valyayi?”
6 This he sayde to prove him: for he him sylfe knewe what he wolde do.

7 Philip answered him two hondred peny worthe of breed are not sufficient for them yt every ma have a litell.
Filipi akamyangula “Mabumunda ga kugula kwa hipandi miya zivili ya madini ga feza gikola lepi kwa vandu ava hati ngati kila mmonga akapewayi chipandi chidebe ndu!”
8 Then sayde vnto him one of his disciples Andrew Simon Peters brother.
Mmonga wa vawuliwa vaki liina laki Andelea, mlongo waki Simoni Petili akamjovela.
9 There ys a lad here which hath fyve barly loves and two fisshes: but what is that amoge so many?
“Penapa avi msongolo mmonga ana mabumunda mhanu ga shayili na somba zivili, nambu zikola kiki kwa vandu vamahele ngati ava?”
10 And Iesus sayde. Make the people sit doune: Ther was moche grasse in the place. And the men sate doune in nombre about five thousande.
Yesu akajova “Muvatamika vandu.” Pandu penapo pavi na manyahi gamahele. Hinu, vandu vakatama na jumula vavi vagosi ndu vandu elufu mhanu.
11 And Iesus toke the breed and gave thankes and gave to the disciples and his disciples to them that were set doune. And lykwyse of the fysshes as moche as they wolde.
Yesu akatola mabumunda gala na kumsengusa Chapanga, akalagiza vavagavanisila vandu vevatamili, akakita mewawa na somba zila, kila mundu apewili cheaganili.
12 When they had eate ynough he sayd vnto his disciples: gadder vp the broke meate that remayneth: that nothinge be loost.
Vandu pavayukwiti Yesu akavajovela vawuliwa vaki, “Vakanonga hipandi yehisigalili vikoto kuyaga.”
13 And they gadered it to geder and fylled twelve baskettes with the broken meate of the five barly loves which broken meate remayned vnto the that had eaten.
Hinu, vakayola hipandi ya mabumunda ga shayili yeyasigalili vandu pevamali kulya, ndi vakamemesa madengu kumi na gavili.
14 Then the men when they had sene the myracle that Iesus dyd sayde: This is of a trueth the Prophet that shuld come into the worlde.
Vandu pavauwene ulangisu wenuwo weahengili Yesu, vakajova “Chakaka mwenuyu ndi mlota mwealongaliwi kuvya ibwela pamulima!”
15 When Iesus perceaved that they wolde come and take him vp to make him kinge he departed agayne into a mountayne him silfe a lone.
Kangi Yesu amanyili kuvya vandu vaganili kumkamula na kumvika avyai nkosi, akajibagula navu, akahamba mwene kuchitumbi.
16 And when eve was come his disciples wet vnto the see
Hati peyahikili kimihi vawuliwa va Yesu vakahelela mbaka kunyanja.
17 and entred into a shyppe and went over the see vnto Capernaum. And anone it was darcke and Iesus was not come to them.
Vakayingila muwatu muni vakupuka kuhamba ku Kapelanaumu. Chitita chamali kuhika, na Yesu avi akona kuvahikila.
18 And ye see arose with a greate winde yt blew.
Chimbungululu chivaha chabumai ndi Nyanja yikatumbula kutimbugana.
19 And when they had rowe aboute a. xxv. or a xxx. furlonges they sawe Iesus walke on ye see and drawe nye vnto the shyp and they were afrayed.
Vawuliwa vaki vamali kugenda muutali wa kilomita mhanu amala sita, vamuwene Yesu igenda panani ya manji, ihegelela muwatu, vayogwipi neju.
20 And he sayde vnto them: It is I be not a frayde.
Yesu akavajovela, “Ndi nene, mkotoka kuyogopa!”
21 Then wolde they have receaved him into the shyp and the ship was by and by at the londe whyther they went.
Hinu, vene kwa luheku vakamtola Yesu muwatu, na bahapo watu wula ukahika pandumba pandu pevahambayi.
22 The daye folowynge the people which stode on the other syde of the see sawe that ther was none other shyp theare save yt one wher in his disciples were entred and that Iesus went not in with his disciples into the ship: but that his disciples were gone awaye alone.
Chilau yaki msambi wa vandu vevasigalili mwambu ya nyanja vamanyili kuvya kwavi na watu umonga pala. Na vamanyili kuvya Yesu ayingili lepi muwatu pamonga na vawuliwa vaki, muni vawuliwa vaki vahambili vene.
23 How be it ther came other shippes from Tiberias nye vnto the place where they ate breed when the Lorde had blessed.
Watu zingi kuhuma ku Tibelia zabweli papipi na pandu pala msambi wa vandu pevalili mabumunda, Bambu peamali kumsengusa Chapanga.
24 Then whe the people sawe that Iesus was not there nether his disciples they also toke shippinge and came to Caparnaum sekinge for Iesus.
Hinu, vandu vala pevamanyili kuvya Yesu pamonga na vawuliwa vaki vangavya pandu penapo, vakayingila muwatu, kuhamba ku Kapelanaumu kumlonda.
25 And when they had founde him on ye other syde of ye see they sayd vnto him: Rabbi whe camest thou hidder?
Pevamkolili Yesu mwambu ya nyanja vakamkota, “Muwula, wabweli ndali penapa?”
26 Iesus answered them and sayde: verely verely I saye vnto you: ye seke me not because ye sawe the myracles: but because ye ate of the loves and were filled.
Yesu akavayangula, “Chakaka nikuvajovela nyenye mukunilonda lepi ndava mwauwene ulangisu wa kukangasa, nambu ndava muni mwalili mabumunda gala na kuyukuta.
27 Laboure not for ye meate which perissheth but for ye meate that endureth vnto everlastynge lyfe whiche meate ye sonne of ma shall geve vnto you. For him hath god ye father sealed. (aiōnios g166)
Mkoto kuchihengela lihengu chukulya chechilula, nambu mchihengela chakulya changalula ndava ya wumi wa magono goha wangali mwishu. Mwana wa Mundu mwahaguliwi na kuyidakiliwa na Dadi yati akuvapela chakulya chenicho.” (aiōnios g166)
28 Then sayd they vnto him: what shall we do that we myght worke ye workes of God?
Vene vakamkota, “Tikita wuli muni tihotola kuhenga mahengu geigana Chapanga?”
29 Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. This is ye worke of God that ye beleve on him who he hath sent.
Yesu akavayangula, “Lenili ndi lihengu leigana Chapanga muhengayi, kumsadika yula mweamtumili.”
30 They sayde vnto him: what signe shewest thou then that we maye se and beleve the? What doest thou worke?
Penapo vakamkota, “Wu, yati wikita ulangisu woki wa kukangasa muni tiulola tihotola kukusadika?
31 Oure fathers dyd eate Manna in the desert as yt is writte: He gave them breed fro heaven to eate.
Vagogo vitu valili mana kula kulugangatu, ngati chegijova Mayandiku Gamsopi. ‘Avapelili mabumunda kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga muni valyayi.’”
32 Iesus sayde vnto the: verely verely I saye vnto you: Moses gave you breed fro heave: but my father geveth you the true breed fro heave.
Yesu akavajovela, “Chakaka nikuvajovela, lepi Musa mweavapeli libumunda kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga, ndi Dadi wangu mweavapelili nyenye libumunda la chakaka kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga.
33 For the breed of God is he which cometh doune from heave and geveth lyfe vnto the worlde.
Muni libumunda la Chapanga ndi yula mweihelela kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga na kuvapela wumi vandu va mulima.”
34 Then sayde they vnto him: Lorde ever moore geve vs this breed.
Vakamjovela, “Bambu, kila ligono utipelayi libumunda lenilo.”
35 And Iesus sayde vnto them: I am that breed of life. He that cometh to me shall not honger: and he that beleveth on me shall never thurst.
Yesu akavajovela, “Nene ndi chakulya chechileta wumi. Mweibwela kwa nene njala yikumvina lepi, mweakunisadika katu iyuwana lepi njota.
36 But I sayed vnto you: that ye have sene me aud yet beleve not.
Nambu navajovili kuvya yati mukunilola nambu mukunisadika lepi.
37 All that the father geveth me shall come to me: and him yt cometh to me I cast not awaye.
Voha veakunipela Dadi yati vibwela kwa nene, na nene katu nakumtaga kuvala yeyoha mweibwela kwa nene.
38 For I came doune fro heaven: not to do myne awne will but his will which hath sent me.
Nihelili kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga, lepi kwa kuhenga genigana namwene nambu kuhenga gegiganikiwa na yula mweanitumili.
39 And this is the fathers will which hath sent me that of all which he hath geven me I shuld loose no thinge: but shuld rayse it vp agayne at the last daye.
Maganu ga yula mweanitumili ndi aga, nikotoka kumyagisa hati mmonga wa vala veanipelili nambu nivayukisa voha pa ligono la mwishu.
40 And this is the wyll of him yt sent me: yt every man which seith ye sonne and beleveth on him have everlastinge lyfe. And I will rayse him vp at ye last daye. (aiōnios g166)
Muni cheigana Dadi wangu ndi chenichi, yoyoha mweakumlola Mwana na kumsadika avyayi na wumi wa magono goha, na nene yati nikumuyukisa ligono la mwishu.” (aiōnios g166)
41 The Iewes then murmured at him because he sayde: I am that breed which is come doune from heaven.
Vayawudi vakatumbula kung'ung'uta muni ajovili, “Nene ndi libumunda lelihelili kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga.”
42 And they sayde: Is not this Iesus ye sonne of Ioseph whose father and mother we knowe? How ys yt then that he sayeth I came doune from heave?
Vakajova, “Mwenuyu lepi Yesu, mwana wa Yosefu? Tivamanyili dadi na nyina waki! Hinu ihotola wuli kujova kuvya ahelili kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga?”
43 Iesus answered and sayde vnto them. Murmur not betwene youre selves.
Yesu akavayangula, “Mkotoka kung'ung'uta mwavene.
44 No man can come to me except the father which hath sent me drawe him. And I will rayse him vp at the last daye.
Kawaka mundu mweihotola kubwela kwa nene, ngati Dadi mweanitumili amhutili lepi kwa nene, na nene yati nikumuyukisa mundu mwenuyo ligono la mwishu.
45 It is written in the Prophetes yt they shall all be taught of God. Every man therfore that hath hearde and hath learned of the father commeth vnto me.
Vamlota va Chapanga vayandiki, ‘Vandu voha yati viwuliwa na Chapanga.’ Kila mundu mweakumyuwana Dadi na kujiwula kuhuma kwaki, ibwela kwa nene.
46 Not that eny man hath sene ye father save he which is of God: the same hath sene the father.
Chenijova ndi ichi avi lepi mundu mweamuwene Dadi, nga yula mweahumili kwa Chapanga, mwenuyo ndi mweamuwene Dadi.
Chakaka, nikuvajovela mweisadika avi na wumi wa magono goha wangali mwishu. (aiōnios g166)
48 I am that breed of lyfe.
Nene ndi chakulya chechileta wumi.
49 Youre fathers dyd eate Mana in ye wildernes and are deed.
Vagogo vinu valili chakulya chechikemiwa mana kulugangatu, nambu vafwili.
50 This is that breed which cometh fro heave yt he which eateth of it shuld also not dye.
Nambu chenichi ndi chakulya chechihelili kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga muni mweilya ifwa lepi.
51 I am that lyvinge breed which came doune from heave. Yf eny man eate of this breed he shall live forever. And the breed that I will geve is my flesshe which I will geve for the lyfe of ye worlde (aiōn g165)
Nene ndi chakulya cha wumi chechihelili kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga. Mundu yeyoha akalyayi libumunda lenili ilama magono goha gangali mwishu. Na libumunda lenikumpela ndi higa yangu yenikuyiwusa ndava ya wumi wa vandu va mulima.” (aiōn g165)
52 And the Iewes strove amoge them selves sayinge: How can this felowe geve vs his flesshe to eate?
Vayawudi vakatumbula kujovesana vene kwa vene, “Mwe, mundu uyu ihotola wuli kutipela tete higa yaki tilyayi?”
53 Then Iesus sayde vnto them: Verely verely I saye vnto you except ye eate ye flesshe of ye sonne of man and drinke his bloude ye shall not have lyfe in you
Yesu akavajovela, “Chakaka nikuvajovela, mweangalya higa ya Mwana wa Mundu na kuyinywa ngasi yaki, mwivya lepi na wumi mugati yinu.
54 Whosoever eateth my flesshe and drinketh my bloude hath eternall lyfe: and I will rayse him vp at the last daye. (aiōnios g166)
Mweilya higa yangu na kunywa ngasi yangu avinawu wumi wa magono goha wangali mwishu, na nene yati nikumuyukisa ligono la mwishu. (aiōnios g166)
55 For my flesshe is meate in dede: and my bloude is drynke in dede.
Muni higa yangu ndi chakulya cha chakaka, na ngasi yangu chindu cha kunywa cha chakaka.
56 He that eateth my flesshe and drynketh my bloude dwelleth in me and I in him.
Mweilya higa yangu na kunywa ngasi yangu, itama mugati yangu na nene nitama mugati yaki.
57 As the lyvinge father hath sent me even so lyve I by my father: and he that eateth me shall live by me.
Ngati Dadi cheavili mumi, anitumili nene na nene nina wumi kwa ndava yaki, mewawa mweakunilya nene yati ivya mumi ndava ya nene.
58 This is the breed which cam from heave: not as youre fathers have eaten Manna and are deed. He that eateth of this breed shall live ever. (aiōn g165)
Hinu, lenili ndi libumunda leliulwiki kuhuma kunani kwa Chapanga, lepi ngati mana yevalili vagogo vitu, vafwili. Mweilya chakulya chenichi yati ivya na wumi wa magono goha wangali mwishu.” (aiōn g165)
59 These thinges sayd he in the synagoge as he taught in Capernaum.
Yesu ajovili genago peavili akuvawula munyumba ya kukonganekela Vayawudi ku Kapelanaumu kula.
60 Many of his disciples when they had herde this sayde: this is an herde sayinge: who can abyde the hearinge of it?
Hinu, vandu vamahele vevamlandayi Yesu pavagayuwini genago, vakajova, “Aga ndi mawuliwu geginonopa! Yani mweihotola kuyuwanila?”
61 Iesus knew in him selfe that his disciples murmured at it and sayde vnto them: Doth this offende you?
Yesu amanyili mumtima waki kuvya vawuliwa vaki ving'ung'uta ndava ya lilovi lenilo, ndi akavajovela, “Wu, mawuliwu ago gakuvakita muleka kusadika?
62 What and yf ye shall se the sonne of man ascede vp where he was before?
Yati yivya wuli pemukumlola Mwana wa Mundu ihamba kunani kwa Chapanga kweavili hoti?
63 It is the sprete that quyckeneth the flesshe proffeteth nothinge. The wordes that I speake vnto you are sprete and lyfe.
Mpungu Msopi ndi mweileta wumi, makakala ga mundu nakuhotola chindu. Malovi genikuvajovela ndi ga Mpungu Msopi na gileta wumi.
64 But ther are some of you that beleve not. For Iesus knewe from the begynnynge which they were that beleved not and who shuld betraye him.
Pamonga na ago, nambu vavi vangi pagati yinu nakusadika.” Yesu ajovili genago ndava avamanyili kutumbula kadeni, vangasadika, na mewa yani mweakumng'anamukila.
65 And he sayde: Therfore sayde I vnto you: that no man can come vnto me except it were geven vnto him of my father.
Akayonjokesa kujova, “Ndava yeniyi navajovili kuvya kawaka mundu mweihotola kubwela kwa nene changali kutangatiliwa na Dadi.”
66 From that tyme many of his disciples wet backe and walked no moore with him.
Kuhumila lukumbi lwenulo vevamlandayi vamahele vakawuya mumbele, vakotoka kumlanda kavili.
67 Then sayde Iesus to the twelve: will ye alsoo goo awaye?
Yesu akavakota vawuliwa kumi na vavili vala, “Wu, na nyenye mwigana kuwuka?”
68 Then Simon Peter answered: Master to whom shall we goo? Thou haste the wordes of eternall lyfe (aiōnios g166)
Simoni Petili akamyangula, “Bambu, tihamba kwa yani? Veve ndi uvinagu malovi gegileta wumi wa magono goha wangali mwishu. (aiōnios g166)
69 and we beleve and knowe yt thou arte Christ the sonne of the lyvinge God.
Tete tikusadika na timanyili kuvya veve ndi wa Msopi kuhuma kwa Chapanga.”
70 Iesus answered them: Have not I chosen you twelve and yet one of you is the devyll?
Yesu akavajovela, “Wu, navahagwili lepi nyenye kumi na vavili? Nambu mmonga winu ndi Setani!”
71 He spake it of Iudas Iscariot the sonne of Simon. For he it was yt shuld betraye him and was one of the twelve.
Yesu ajovili genago kumvala Yuda mwana wa Simoni Isikalioti, muni mwenuyo ndi yati mweakumung'anamukila, pamonga avi mmonga pagati ya vawuliwa kumi na vavili.
