John 3
1 Ther was a man of the pharises named Nicodemus a ruler amonge ye Iewes.
੧ਉੱਥੇ ਨਿਕੋਦਿਮੁਸ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਫ਼ਰੀਸੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਆਗੂ ਸੀ।
2 The same cam to Iesus by nyght and sayde vnto him: Rabbi we knowe that thou arte a teacher whiche arte come from God. For no man coulde do suche miracles as thou doest except God were with him.
੨ਇੱਕ ਰਾਤ ਨਿਕੋਦਿਮੁਸ ਯਿਸੂ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।”
3 Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: Verely verely I saye vnto the: except a man be boren a newe he cannot se the kyngdom of God.
੩ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਚਿਰ ਉਹ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਿਰਿਓਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਾ।”
4 Nicodemus sayde vnto him: how can a man be boren when he is olde? can he enter into his moders wombe and be boren agayne?
੪ਨਿਕੋਦਿਮੁਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਕੀ ਇਹ ਸਕਦਾ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਜਾਵੇ?”
5 Iesus answered: verely verely I saye vnto the: except that a man be boren of water and of ye sprete he cannot enter into the kyngdome of god.
੫ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।
6 That which is boren of the flesshe is flesshe: and that which is boren of the sprete is sprete.
੬ਸਰੀਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਰੀਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਆਤਮਾ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 Marvayle not that I sayd to the ye must be boren a newe.
੭ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੋ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ‘ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਿਰਿਓਂ ਜਨਮ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।’
8 The wynde bloweth where he listeth and thou hearest his sounde: but canst not tell whence he cometh and whether he goeth. So is every man that is boren of the sprete.
੮ਹਵਾ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਹੀ ਚੱਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਧਰ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣ ਸਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਕਿ ਹਵਾ ਕਿੱਧਰੋਂ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਿੱਧਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਆਤਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਜਨਮੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਇਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਹੈ।”
9 And Nicodemus answered and sayde vnto him: how can these thinges be?
੯ਨਿਕੋਦਿਮੁਸ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਇਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ?”
10 Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: arte thou a master in Israel and knowest not these thinges?
੧੦ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੂੰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ?
11 Verely verely I saye vnto the we speake that we knowe and testify that we have sene: and ye receave not oure witnes.
੧੧ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਅਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
12 Yf when I tell you erthely thinges ye beleve not: how shuld ye beleve yf I shall tell you of hevenly thinges?
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ?
13 And no man ascendeth vp to heaven but he that came doune from heaven that is to saye the sonne of man which is in heaven.
੧੩ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ, ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਉਤਰਿਆ, ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਵਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ।
14 And as Moses lifte vp the serpent in the wyldernes even so must the sonne of man be lifte vp
੧੪ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ।
੧੫ਇਉਂ ਜੋ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ, ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੇ ਉਹ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪਾਵੇ।” (aiōnios g166)
16 For God so loveth the worlde yt he hath geven his only sonne that none that beleve in him shuld perisshe: but shuld have everlastinge lyfe. (aiōnios g166)
੧੬ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਇੱਕਲੌਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਰੱਖੇ ਉਹ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇ। (aiōnios g166)
17 For God sent not his sonne into the worlde to condepne the worlde: but that the worlde through him might be saved.
੧੭ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਕਿ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਉਸ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।
18 He that beleveth on him shall not be condepned. But he that beleveth not is condempned all redy be cause he beleveth not in the name of the only sonne of God.
੧੮ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਇਕਲੌਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
19 And this is the condempnacion: that light is come into the worlde and the me loved darcknes more then light because their dedes were evill.
੧੯ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਬਣਨ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚਾਨਣ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਚਾਨਣ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਸਨ।
20 For every man that evyll doeth hateth the light: nether commeth to light lest his dedes shuld be reproved.
੨੦ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਚਾਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਚਾਨਣ ਵੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਚਾਨਣ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
21 But he that doth truth commeth to the light that his dedes might be knowen how that they are wrought in God.
੨੧ਪਰ ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸੱਚਾਈ ਤੇ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਚਾਨਣ ਕੋਲ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਚਾਨਣ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
22 After these thinges cam Iesus and his disciples into the Iewes londe and ther he haunted with them and baptised.
੨੨ਇਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਯਹੂਦਿਯਾ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ। ਉੱਥੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
23 And Iohn also baptised in Enon besydes Salim because ther was moche water there and they came and were baptised.
੨੩ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਵੀ ਏਨੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਏਨੋਨ ਸਾਲੇਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ। ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਉੱਥੇ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉੱਥੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਾਣੀ ਸੀ। ਲੋਕ ਉੱਥੇ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
24 For Iohn was not yet cast into preson.
੨੪ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ।
25 And ther arose a questio bitwene Iohns disciples and the Iewes about purifiynge.
੨੫ਫਿਰ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਹਿਸ ਕੀਤੀ।
26 And they came vnto Iohn and sayde vnto him: Rabbi he that was with the beyonde Iordan to whom thou barest witnes. Beholde the same baptyseth and all me come to him.
੨੬ਇਸ ਲਈ ਚੇਲੇ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ, ਕੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਯਾਦ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਰਦਨ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਪਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ? ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ। ਉਹੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ।”
27 Iohn answered and sayde: a man can receave no thinge at all except it be geve him fro heaven.
੨੭ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਵਰਗੋਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।”
28 Ye youre selves are witnesses how that I sayde: I am not Christ but am sent before him.
੨੮ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਕਿ “ਮੈਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਰਾਹ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।”
29 He that hath the bryde is the brydegrome. But the frende of the brydegrome which stondeth by and heareth him reioyseth greately of the brydgromes voyce. Tis my ioye is fulfilled.
੨੯ਲਾੜੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਲਾੜੇ ਦਾ ਜੋ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਲਾੜੇ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲਾੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹਾਂ।
30 He must increace: and I muste decreace.
੩੦ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਵਧੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਘਟਾਂ।
31 He that commeth from an hye is above all: He that is of ye erth is of the erth and speaketh of the erth. He that cometh from heaven is above all
੩੧“ਉਹ ਜੋ ਉੱਪਰੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਬਾਕੀ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ।
32 and what he hath sene and hearde: that he testifieth: but no man receaveth his testimonye.
੩੨ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਸੁਣੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ।
33 How be it he that hath receaved hys testimonye hath set to his seale that God is true.
੩੩ਜੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਤੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸੱਚ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the wordes of God. For God geveth not the sprete by measure.
੩੪ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਪੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
35 The father loveth the sonne and hath geven all thinges into his honde.
੩੫ਪਿਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
36 He that beleveth on the sonne hath everlastynge lyfe: and he that beleveth not the sonne shall not se lyfe but the wrathe of God abydeth on him. (aiōnios g166)
੩੬ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ, ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।” (aiōnios g166)
