Genesis 6
1 And it came to passe wha men bega to multiplye apo the erth ad had begot them doughters
Als sich aber die Menschen zu mehren begannen auf Erden und ihnen Töchter geboren wurden,
2 the sonnes of God sawe the doughters of men that they were fayre and toke vnto them wyves which they best liked amoge the all.
sahen die Söhne Gottes, daß die Töchter der Menschen schön waren und nahmen sich von allen diejenigen zu Weibern, welche ihnen gefielen.
3 And the LORd sayd: My spirite shall not allwaye stryve withe man for they are flesh. Nevertheles I wyll geue them yet space and hundred and. xx. yeres
Da sprach der HERR: Mein Geist soll den Menschen nicht ewig darum strafen, daß auch er Fleisch ist, sondern seine Tage sollen hundertundzwanzig Jahre betragen!
4 There were tirantes in the world in thos dayes. For after that the children of God had gone in vnto the doughters of men and had begotten them childern the same childern were the mightiest of the world and men of renowne
Die Riesen waren auf Erden in jenen Tagen, und zwar daraufhin, daß die Söhne Gottes zu den Töchtern der Menschen kamen und diese ihnen gebaren. Das sind die Helden, die von alters her berühmt gewesen sind.
5 And whan the LORde sawe yt the wekednesse of man was encreased apon the erth and that all the ymaginacion and toughtes of his hert was only evell continually
Als aber der HERR sah, daß des Menschen Bosheit sehr groß war auf Erden und alles Gebilde der Gedanken seines Herzens nur böse allezeit,
6 he repented that he had made man apon the erth and sorowed in his hert.
da reute es den HERRN, daß er den Menschen gemacht hatte auf Erden, und es bekümmerte ihn in seinem Herzen.
7 And sayd: I wyll destroy mankynde which I haue made fro of the face of the erth: both man beast worme and foule of the ayre for it repeteth me that I haue made them.
Und der HERR sprach: Ich will den Menschen, den ich erschaffen habe, vom Erdboden vertilgen, vom Menschen an bis auf das Vieh und bis auf das Gewürm und bis auf die Vögel des Himmels; denn es reut mich, daß ich sie gemacht habe!
8 But yet Noe found grace in the syghte of the LORde.
Noah aber fand Gnade vor dem HERRN.
9 These are the generatios of Noe. Noe was a righteous man and vncorrupte in his tyme and walked wyth god.
Dies ist die Geschichte Noahs: Noah, ein gerechter Mann, war untadelig unter seinen Zeitgenossen; mit Gott wandelte Noah.
10 And Noe begat. iij. sonnes: Sem Ham and Iapheth.
Und Noah hatte drei Söhne gezeugt: Sem, Ham und Japhet.
11 And the erth was corrupte in the syghte of god and was full of mischefe.
Aber die Erde war verderbt vor Gott und mit Frevel erfüllt.
12 And God loked vpon the erth ad loo it was corrupte: for all flesh had corrupte his way vppon the erth.
Und Gott sah die Erde, und siehe, sie war verderbt; denn alles Fleisch hatte seinen Weg auf Erden verderbt.
13 Than sayd God to Noe: the end of all flesh is come before me for the erth is full of there myschefe. And loo I wyll destroy them with the erth.
Da sprach Gott zu Noah: Alles Fleisches Ende ist vor mich gekommen; denn die Erde ist durch sie mit Frevel erfüllt, und siehe, ich will sie samt der Erde vertilgen.
14 Make the an arcke of pyne tree and make chaumbers in the arcke and pytch it wythin and wythout wyth pytch.
Mache dir eine Arche von Tannenholz; in Räume sollst du die Arche teilen und sie innen und außen mit Pech verpichen.
15 And of this facion shalt thou make it. The lenth of the arcke shall be. iij. hundred cubytes ad the bredth of it. l. cubytes and the heyth of it. xxx. cubytes.
Und du sollst sie also machen: Dreihundert Ellen lang, fünfzig Ellen breit, dreißig Ellen hoch.
16 A wyndow shalt thou make aboue in the arcke. And wythin a cubyte compasse shalt thou finysh it. And the dore of the arcke shalt thou sette in ye syde of it: and thou shalt make it with. iij loftes one aboue an other.
Ein Fenster sollst du der Arche machen; bis zu einer Elle unterhalb des Daches darf es reichen; aber die Tür der Arche sollst du an ihre Seite setzen. Du sollst ihr ein unterstes, mittleres und oberstes Stockwerk machen.
17 For behold I wil bringe in a floud of water apon the erth to destroy all flesh from vnder heaven wherin breth of life is so that all that is in the erth shall perish.
Denn siehe, ich will eine Wasserflut über die Erde bringen, um alles Fleisch, das lebendigen Odem in sich hat, unter dem ganzen Himmel zu vertilgen; alles, was auf Erden ist, soll untergehen.
18 But I will make myne apoyntement with the that both thou shalt come in to ye arcke and thy sonnes thy wyfe and thy sonnes wyves with the.
Aber mit dir will ich meinen Bund aufrichten, und du sollst in die Arche gehen, du und deine Söhne und dein Weib und deiner Söhne Weiber mit dir.
19 And of all that lyveth what soever flesh it be shalt thou brynge in to the arcke of every thynge a payre to kepe them a lyve wyth the. And male and female
Und von allem, was da lebt, von allem Fleisch, sollst du je zwei in die Arche führen, daß sie mit dir am Leben bleiben, und zwar sollen es ein Männchen und ein Weibchen sein;
20 se that they be of byrdes in their kynde and of beastes in their kynde and of all maner of wormes of the erth in their kinde: a payre of every thinge shall come vnto the to kepe them a lyve.
aller Art Vögel und aller Art Vieh und von allem, was auf Erden kriecht, sollen je zwei von jeder Art zu dir kommen, damit sie am Leben bleiben.
21 And take vnto the of all maner of meate yt may be eaten and laye it vp in stoore by the that it may be meate both for ye and for the:
Du aber nimm dir von allerlei Speise, die man zu essen pflegt, und sammle sie bei dir an, daß sie dir und ihnen zur Nahrung diene!
22 and Noe dyd acordynge to all that God commaunded hym.
Und Noah tat es; er machte alles genau so, wie ihm Gott befahl.
