Genesis 19
1 And there came. ij. angells to Sodome at euen. And Lot satt at the gate of the cyte. And Lot sawe the and rose vp agaynst them and he bowed hym selfe to he grounde with his face.
Nahiabot ang duha ka anghel didto sa Sodoma sa pagka-gabii, samtang si Lot naglingkod sa ganghaan sa Sodoma. Nakita sila ni Lot, mitindog siya sa pagtagbo kanila, ug mihapa sa yuta.
2 And he sayde: Se lordes turne in I praye you in to youre servauntes house and tary all nyghte and wash youre fete and ryse vp early and go on youre wayes. And they sayde: nay but we will byde in the streates all nyghte.
Miingon siya, “Palihog mga agalon ko, hangyoon ko kamo nga mohapit sa balay sa inyong alagad, ug mopabilin sa tibuok nga gabii, ug makapanghimasa kamo sa inyong mga tiil. Ug makabangon kamo sa sayo sa kabuntagon, ug magpadayon sa inyong paglakaw.” Ug sila nag-ingon, “Dili, kay sa plasa sa lungsod lang kami mopahulay sa tibuok gabii.”
3 And he copelled them excedyngly. And they turned in vnto hym and entred in to his house and he made them a feaste and dyd bake swete cakes and they ate.
Apan gihangyo niya sila pag-ayo, ug sila miuban kaniya, ug misulod sila sa iyang balay. Nag-andam siya ug pagkaon ug nagluto siya ug mga tinapay nga walay patubo, ug sila nangaon.
4 But before they went to rest the men of the cyte of Sodome compassed the house rownde aboute both olde and yonge all the people from all quarters.
Apan sa wala pa sila mihigda nagpalibot sa balay ang mga lalaki sa siyudad, ang mga lalaki sa Sodoma, mga batan-on ug mga tigulang, tanang mga lalaki nga gikan sa bisan asang bahin sa siyudad.
5 And they called vnto Lot and sayde vnto him: where are the men which came in to thy house to nyghte? brynge the out unto vs that we may do oure lust with them.
Gitawag nila si Lot, ug miingon sila kaniya, “Hain na ang mga lalaki nga miabot kanimo karong gabhiona? Dad-a sila pagawas nganhi kanamo, aron kami makigdulog kanila.”
6 And Lot went out at doores vnto them and shote the dore after him
Busa migawas si Lot sa pultahan ngadto kanila ug gisirad-an ang pultahan human siya makagawas.
7 and sayde: nay for goddes sake brethren do not so wekedly.
Ug siya miingon “Nagpakiluoy ako kaninyo, akong mga igsoon, ayaw kamo pagbuhat ug daotan.
8 Beholde I haue two doughters which haue knowne no man the will I brynge out vnto you: do with them as it semeth you good: Only vnto these men do nothynge for therfore came they vnder the shadowe of my rofe.
Tan-awa, aduna akoy duha ka mga anak nga babaye nga wala pa nakigdulog kang bisan kinsang lalaki. Naghangyo ako nga tugoti nga ihatag ko sila kaninyo, ug buhata kanila ang bisan unsa nga maayo sa inyong panan-aw. Ug ayaw lang hilabti kining mga tawhana, tungod kay sila mianhi ilalom sa landong sa akong atop.”
9 And they sayde: come hither. And they sayde: camest thou not in to sogeorne and wilt thou be now a iudge? we will suerly deale worse with the than with themAnd as they preased fore vppon Lot and beganne to breake vp the doore
Nag-ingon sila, “Pahawa diha!” Ug Nag-ingon usab sila, “Kini siya mianhi ug mipuyo ingon nga langyaw, ug karon siya mahimo natong maghuhukom! Karon, ikaw among buhatan ug mas daotan labaw pa kanila.” Gituklod nila pag-ayo si Lot, ug midutdot aron sa pagguba sa pultahan.
10 the men put forth their handes and pulled Lot in to the house to them and shott to the doore.
Apan gibira sa duha ka lalaki si Lot pasulod sa balay uban kanila ug gisirad-an ang pultahan.
11 And the men that were at the doore of the house they smote with blyndnesse both small and greate: so that they coude not fynde the doore.
Kadtong mga tawo nga anaa sa gawas sa pultahan sa balay, giataki ug gipangbutahan sila sa mga bisita ni Lot, mga batan-on ug mga tigulang, aron nga mangaluya sila sa pagpangita sa pultahan.
12 And the men sayde moreover vnto Lot: Yf thou have yet here any sonne in lawe or sonnes or doughters or what so euer thou hast in the cyte brynge it out of this place:
Unya ang duha ka lalaki nag-ingon kang Lot, “Aduna ka pa bay kauban dinhi? Bisan kinsa nga umagad nga lalaki, imong mga anak nga lalaki ug imong mga anak nga babaye, ug si bisan kinsa nga imong paryente sa siyudad, kuhaa sila pagawas niining dapita.
13 for we must destroy this place because the crye of the is great before the LORde. Wherfore he hath sent vs to destroy it.
Kay pagalaglagon namo kini nga dapit, tungod kay ang sumbong batok niini midangat sa atubangan ni Yahweh sa hilabihan gayod mao nga gipadala niya kami sa paglaglag niini.”
14 And Lot went out and spake vnto his sonnes in lawe which shulde haue maried his doughters and sayde: stonde vpp and get yow out of this place for the LORde will destroy the cite. But he semed as though he had mocked vnto his sonnes in law.
Migawas si Lot ug nakigsulti sa iyang mga umagad nga lalaki, ang mga lalaki nga nagsaad nga makigminyo sa iyang mga anak nga babaye, “Pagdali, gawas niini nga dapit, tungod kay sa dili madugay pagalaglagon ni Yahweh kini nga siyudad.” Apan ang iyang mga umagad nga lalaki naghunahuna nga nagtiaw-tiaw siya.
15 And as the mornynge arose the angells caused Lot to spede him saynge. Stonde vp take thy wyfe and thy two doughters and that that is at hande lest thou perish in the synne of the cyte.
Sa sayo sa kabuntagon, ang mga anghel naghangyo kang Lot nga miingon, “Panglakaw na kamo, ug dad-a ang imong asawa ug ang imong duha ka mga anak nga babaye nga ania dinhi, aron dili kamo mahiapil sa pagsilot sa siyudad.”
16 And as he prolonged the tyme the men caught both him his wife ad his two doughters by the handes because the LORde was mercyfull vnto him ad they brought him forth and sette him without the cyte.
Apan siya naglanganlangan. Busa gibira sa duha lalaki ang iyang kamot, ug ang kamot sa iyang asawa, ug ang mga kamot sa iyang duha ka mga anak nga babaye, tungod kay si Yahweh nga Dios nagmaluluy-on kaniya. Gidala nila sila pagawas, ug gipahimutang sila sa gawas sa siyudad.
17 When they had brought them out they sayde: Saue thy lyfe and loke not behynde the nether tary thou in any place of the contre but saue thy selfe in the mountayne lest thou perisshe.
Sa dihang gipagawas na nila sila, usa sa mga lalaki nag-ingon, “Dagan alang sa inyong kinabuhi! Ayaw paglingi o paghunong bisan asa sa kapatagan. Ikyas ngadto sa kabukiran aron dili kamo mahiapil pagkapapas.”
18 Than sayde Lot vnto them: Oh nay my lorde:
Si Lot nag-ingon kanila, “Ayaw, palihog, mga agalon ko!
19 beholde in as moch as thy servaunte hath fownde grace in thy syghte now make thi mercy great which thou shewest vnto me in savinge my lyfe. For I can not saue my selfe in the mountayns lest some misfortune fall vpon me and I dye.
Ang inyong alagad nakakaplag ug kaluoy sa inyong atubangan, ug gipakita ninyo kanako ang dako ninyong kaayo sa pagluwas sa akong kinabuhi, apan dili ako makahimo sa pag-ikyas ngadto sa mga bukid, tungod kay maapsan ako sa katalagman, ug ako mamatay.
20 Beholde here is a cyte by to flee vnto and it is a lytle one: let me saue my selfe therein: is it not a litle one that my soule may lyue?
Tan-awa, kanang usa ka gamay nga siyudad nga haduol paigo na nga makadagan ako didto. Palihog, paikyasa ako didto (Dili ba gamay ra man kini?), ug ang akong kinabuhi maluwas.”
21 And he sayde to him: se I haue receaved thy request as concernynge this thynge that I will nott overthrowe this cytie for the which thou hast spoken.
Mitubag siya kaniya, “Sige, gidawat ko usab kining imong gihangyo, ug dili ko pagalaglagon ang siyudad nga imong giingon.
22 Haste the ad saue thy selfe there for I can do nothynge tyll thou be come in thyder. And therfore the name of the cyte is called Zoar.
Pagdali! ug ikyas na didto, tungod kay dili ako makabuhat bisan unsa hangtod nga mahiabot ka didto.” Busa gitawag ang siyudad ug Zoar.
23 And the sone was vppon the erth when Lot was entred in to Zoar.
Ang adlaw misidlak ibabaw sa kalibotan sa dihang nahiabot si Lot sa Zoar.
24 Than the LORde rayned vpon Sodome and Gomorra brymstone and fyre from the LORde out of heaven
Unya gipaulanan ni Yahweh ug asupre ug kalayo ang Sodoma ug Gomora, migula kini gikan sa langit.
25 and overthrewe those cyteis and all the region and all that dwelled in the cytes and that that grewe vpon the erth.
Gigun-ob niya kadtong mga siyudad, ug ang tanang kapatagan, ug ang tanang mga nagpuyo sa maong mga siyudad, ug ang mga tanom nga nagtubo sa yuta.
26 And lots wyfe loked behynde her ad was turned in to a pillare of salte.
Apan ang asawa ni Lot, nga nagsunod kaniya, milingi sa likod, ug siya nahimong haligi nga asin.
27 Abraham rose vp early and got him to the place where he stode before the LORde
Mibangon si Abraham sa sayo sa kabuntagon ug miadto sa dapit nga diin siya mibarog sa atubangan ni Yahweh.
28 and loked toward Sodome and Gomorra and toward all the londe of that contre. And as he loked: beholde the smoke of the contre arose as it had bene the smoke of a fornace.
Milantaw siya paubos sa Sodoma ug Gomora ug paingon sa tibuok yuta sa kapatagan. Siya milantaw ug iyang nakita ang aso gikan sa yuta sama sa aso sa dakong hudno.
29 But yet whe God destroyed the cities of ye regio he thought a pon Abraha: and sent Lot out from the dager of the overthrowenge when he overthrewe the cyttes where Lot dwelled.
Busa sa dihang gigun-ob sa Dios ang mga siyudad sa kapatagan, nahinumduman sa Dios si Abraham. Gipagawas niya si Lot taliwala sa kadaot sa dihang iyang gigun-ob ang mga siyudad diin si Lot nagpuyo.
30 And Lot departed out of Zoar and dwelled in the mountayns ad his. ij. doughters with him for he feared to tary in Zoar: he dweld therfore in a caue both he and his. ij. doughters also.
Apan mitungas si Lot gikan sa Zoar aron mopuyo sa kabukiran uban ang iyang duha ka mga anak nga babaye, tungod kay siya nahadlok nga mopuyo sa Zoar. Busa nagpuyo siya sa langub, siya ug ang iyang duha ka mga anak nga babaye.
31 Than sayde the elder vnto the yonger oure father is olde and there are no moo men in the erth to come in vnto vs after the maner of all the world.
Ang kamaguwangan nga anak miingon ngadto sa manghod, “tiguwang na ang atong amahan, ug walay lalaki sa bisan asang dapit aron makigdulog kanato sumala sa pamaagi sa tibuok kalibotan.
32 Come therfore let vs geue oure father wyne to dryncke and let vs lye with him that we may saue seed of oure father.
Dali, atong paimnon ug bino ang atong amahan, ug makigdulog kita kaniya, aron mamahimo natong mapadaghan ang banay sa atong amahan.”
33 And they gaue their father wyne to drynke that same nyghte. And the elder doughter went and laye with her father. And he perceaued it not nether when she laye doune nether when she rose vp.
Busa gipainom nila ang ilang amahan ug bino niadtong gabhiona. Unya ang kinamaguwangang anak miadto sa sulod ug nakigdulog sa iyang amahan; wala nasayod si Lot sa dihang mihigda ang iyang kinamaguwangang anak, ni sa iyang pagbangon.
34 And on the morowe the elder sayde vnto the yonger: beholde yesternyghte laye I with my father. Let us geue hym wyne to drinke this nyghte also and goo thou and lye with him and let us saue seed of oure father.
Sa pagkasunod nga adlaw ang kinamaguwangang anak miingon ngadto sa manghod, “Paminaw, nakigdulog ako sa atong amahan kagabii. Atong paimnon ug bino ang atong amahan pag-usab, ug kinahanglan nimo nga mosulod ug makigdulog uban kaniya, aron mamahimo natong mapadaghan ang banay sa atong amahan.”
35 And they gaue their father wyne to drincke that nyghte also. And the yonger arose and laye with him. And he perceaved it not: nether when she laye downe nether when she rose vp.
Busa nahimo nila nga napainom ang ilang amahan ug bino niadtong gabhiona pag-usab, ug ang manghod niadto ug nakigdulog kaniya. Wala nasayod si Lot sa dihang mihigda ang iyang kinamanghorang anak, ni sa iyang pagbangon.
36 Thus were both the doughters of lot with childe by their father
Busa ang duha ka mga anak nga babaye ni Lot nagmabdos pinaagi sa ilang amahan.
37 And the elder bare a sone and called hym Moab which is the father of the Moabytes vnto this daye.
Ang kinamaguwangang anak nanganak ug lalaki, ug ginganlan niya ug Moab. Nahimo siyang katigulangan sa katawhan sa mga Moabnon sa karong panahon.
38 And the yonger bare a sonne and called hym Ben Ammi which is the father of the childern of Ammon vnto this daye.
Alang sa kinamanghorang anak, siya nanganak usab ug lalaki, ug ginganlan kini ug Ben Ami. Nahimo siyang katigulangan sa katawhan sa mga Amonihanon sa karong panahon.
