< Revelation 5 >

1 Then I saw at the right hand of him who was ‘seated on the throne a book, with writing inside and out, and sealed’ with seven seals;
Ngah ih luuwang tongtheng ni tongte wah dakchah lak adi ang arah leeraangtui ah tuptang; erah haanghop eraang choi loop arah angta, eno erah sin hoonchoi sinet angta.
2 and I saw a mighty angel who was proclaiming in a loud voice — ‘Who is worthy to open the book and break its seals?’
Eno ngah ih elong rangsah tuptang, erah ih erongwah tha raamta, “Leeraangtui khak ha rah ngo ih sin ah jen thahaat ano jen ja ah?”
3 But no one either in Heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the book or look within it.
Enoothong hemong dowa jen ja sok suh rangmong ni nyia hatoh ni eno mongrep lamma ni ngo uh tajeeta.
4 At this I wept long, because no one could be found who was worthy to open the book or look within it.
Ngah sattitih ih huungtang mamah liidih wasiit taan uh leeraangtui ah daap ano heh mong ah jen sokte ngo uh tajeeta.
5 But one of the Councillors said to me — ‘Do not weep. The Lion conquered — the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Scion of David — and can therefore open the book with its seven seals.’
Eno mihak dung dowa wasiit ih ngah suh baat tahang, “Nak hung uh. Sok thaak uh! Dewid sutoom satoom, Juda jaat apaat dowa Sakhobung ih jenta, eno heh ibah sin sinet ah jen ja ah nyia leeraangtui ah jen daap ah”
6 Then, within the space between the throne and the four Creatures, and in the midst of the Councillors, I saw, standing, a Lamb, which seemed to have been sacrificed. It had seven horns and seven eyes. (These eyes are the seven Spirits of God, and they are sent into all the world.)
Eno ngah ih uh luuwang tongtheng laktung adi Saapsah chap arah japtup tang, ething jih ajaat baji ih nyia mihak phokhoh loong ih kook chap rumta. Saapsah ah tek bot choi ang arah likhiik tuptang. 7 The Lamb came forward; and he has taken the book from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.
Saapsah rah wang ano marah tongtheng ni tongta wah lak dakchah ko ni piita leeraangtui ah thaang pi wangta.
8 And, when he had taken the book, the four Creatures and the twenty-four Councillors prostrated themselves before the Lamb, each of them holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense. (These are the prayers of Christ’s People.)
Heh ih erah reeta adi, ething jih ajaat baji nyia rooknyi wah baji mihak phokhoh loong ah saap Sah ngathong ni ngupbon wang rumta. Neng jinni bang changding nyia komkhuung adi phontumkaang loong ah eme choi angta, erah loong ah langla Rangte mina loong rangsoom rum arah angta.
9 And they are singing a new song — ‘Thou art worthy to take the book and break its seals, for thou wast sacrificed, and with thy blood thou didst buy for God men of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation,
Neng loong ah boong ena boong rumta: “An ibah leeraangtui ah pi suh epun elu, eno erah jen ja suh uh an epun elu. An etek haat ih taho, an roidong kotu dowa ih Rangte suh mina jaat apaat, jeng maama maama jengte, deek dowa eno wahoh loong ah rekoh rumtu.
10 and didst make them a Kingdom of Priests in the service of our God, and they are reigning upon the earth.’
Neng ah Rangte mootkaat raangtaan ih hasong romwah ih hoon rumtu, eno neng ih hatoh adoh pan rum ah.”
11 Then, in my vision, I heard the voices of many angels round the throne, and of the Creatures, and of the Councillors. In number they were ‘ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands,’
Ngah ih we soktang adi, rangsah jeng arah we chaattang, neng loong wiik than ang rumta! Neng loong ih luuwang tongtheng nyia baji ething jih ajaat loong nyia mihak phokhoh loong ah kookchap rumta,

eno erongwah ih riing boong rumta “Saapsah etek haat erumta rah ih chaan aphaan, nyamka, mongtham, tah achaan, soomtu esuh, phoongpha esuh, eno rangka esuh nep epun eh ah!”
13 And I heard every created thing in the air, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all that is in them crying — ‘To him who is seated on the throne and to the Lamb be ascribed all blessing, and honour, and praise, and dominion for ever and ever.’ (aiōn g165)
Ngah ih rangmong ni jirep jih ajaat loong boong rum arah chaattang, hatoh dowa, hakhui dowa, eno juungsih mong dowa—timthan ething noongrep nawa loong boong boong rumta: “Marah luuwang tongtheng ni tongta nyia saap Sah suh boong koh rumta, erangka nyia soomtu eh ih, ephoongpha nyia chaan aphaan, roitang raangtaan ih toom ang ah!” (aiōn g165)
14 And the four Creatures said ‘Amen,’ and the Councillors prostrated themselves and worshiped.
Baji ething jih ajaat loong ih ngaakbaat rumta, “Amen!” Eno mihak phokhoh loong ah ngupdat rum ano soom rumta.
